Cottonwood Ranch

My boyfriend and I just moved in last month, and we are in love with the apartment/location. The only thing that seems to be so wrong is our A/C doesn't blow out cool air. Maintenance has been notified 3x but has only come to check it out once, plus told us there was nothing they could do about it. The air only kicks on certain days, and we're in 90-100 degree weather! I noticed a lot of my neighbors have portable window ac units just to keep their apartment cool. The ac is something that is part of the lease before signing. Nobody should have to go out and buy a portable ac unit. You can actually hold rent for that issue. I also noticed the apt ac units are very small! I'm not sure what this business was thinking, but something has got to change about this.

This is not a place I would recommend to anyone. There is dog waste and garbage scattered everywhere as well as frequent car vandalism and mailbox vandalism. The front office staff is aloof and some of the maintenance workers are not only rude but disrespectful of the residents.

Apartment suffered water damage from a leak. Effectively destroying my mattress. Complex does absolutely nothing to make me happy. The owner should be embarrassed that this is their company

this property is poor - management don't treat you like you're valuable more like trash. maintenance don't have any knowledge of what they are doing all the time. put so many orders to get some work done and it goes unnoticed all the time. these people don't have feelings at all

I wish there was something good to say about this place but it’s been nothing but trouble from the beginning. We were given our parking passes and my husbands truck was booted and towed (while the pass was visible) with no notice at all. There’s only a few visitors spots so our friends have been booted for not having a parking permit as well but residents park in visitors spots so there is nowhere else to go. Being that I am also pregnant while living here, it’s very very inconvenient walking all the way from one side of the complex to the other because there are no available parking spots near your apartment. Goodluck finding any parking nearby after 7PM!! The walls are also very thin, you can hear dogs barking throughout the day and if you live on the first floor you can hear footsteps all day. I will never recommend this place despite the fact that it’s a “resort” community.

I live on the 2nd floor when it rains the ceiling leaks I told maintenance he was rude said no it's not it ibtired to show him where it was leaking he was to lazy to even look up from where it was leaking. It rained so hard it was pouring from ceiling fan ceiling leaks in 5 different place called the office to let them know they said they would mark it as emergency no one has ever come to look at it or do anything about it . Maintenance guy was supposed to change the filter has nit been changed in 2 years he was to lazy to change the filter

I have lived in this apartment complex for over 2 years and its a nice place to live in great neighbors great location and its quiet also i have a garage where i park my car and you also have the mall across the street restaurants and etc... only few minutes away

The Cottonwood team is amazing. The grounds of the place are kept up. Neighbors are mindful of the 10PM noise as well as keeping their dogs on a leash. The apartments are roomy and have good stoarage. The insulation is good, we hardly use the A/C in the summer or heat in the winter.

Love the location. Close to many stores and mall. Clean place to live and the staff is very helpful if you have any concerns.

Relocating to New Mexico from Pennsylvania was stressful, scary and exciting!! New adventures to be made!! The staff here was excellent as I had to conduct most phases of renting my apartment via the internet and many telephone calls after selecting Cottonwood Ranch Apartment Homes. I was surprised how easy it really was with the many photos, information from the staff, attachments, electronic signature, etc. When I finally got here and signed final paperwork in person, I was just too relieved to see that all was exactly like the photos I had seen and general information of the area from staff members. Haven't had any issues here, been here about 7 months, love it, any issues are usually solved with maintenance and they have auto pay now which is convenient

Cottonwood Ranch advertises "doll house" images and "tour models" with new fully-carpeted and storage units. You've been deceived when you open the door to your apt and find there is "no" storage and "no" new fully-carpeted rooms. They will not tell you when you sign your lease and charge you the same either way.

I looked everywhere on the west side and ended up going with cotton wood ranch. Im very happy with my choice and couldn't be happier. I have a garage to park my truck, the complex Is quite and really nice.

I really enjoy living at Cottonwood Ranch Apartments. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment where there is plenty of room for my dog and I. This property is dog friendly and they have trails that you can walk your dog along. In addition, the grounds are always kept up really nice. I love the natural light that comes in the apartment and I have a really good view of the mountains. Gas burners, full size washers & dryers, air conditioning (wohoo to no swamp coolers) and ceiling fans were a plus for me! The office staff has always been really nice and maintenance fixes issues very quickly.

Cottonwood Ranch truly is like living in a resort. There are so many beautiful trees and flowers all around the complex. It is very nice to be right across the street from so many delicious restaurants. Office staff is so friendly and quick to fix any issues I've come across in the last 5 plus years I have lived here.

My husband and I moved into Cottonwood Ranch last October and we are very happy. The gym, pool and full size washer and dryer are great amenities! The covered parking is great too. The staff have been very helpful and polite. The maintenance staff has been pretty prompt when we need them as well. Our apartment is very spacious and we even have a garden tub! We will definitely be staying another year!

Staff is always friendly and willing to help any way they can. The complex is very clean, quiet and spacious. I have enjoyed my time here at Cottonwood Ranch. -Lorraine Martinez

I moved into my apartment in February and could not be happier with my unit and the staff. I lost my wife of 38 years due to a stroke and needed to get rid of my home of nearly 35 years so apartment living is a new experience for me. When I knew I had to find an apartment I did very extensive research on where to live as I wanted someplace with charm and where I could walk to places such as coffee shops or restaurants. The location could not get any better as Starbucks is right outside my door as well as Costco and Cottonwood Mall is across the street. Lonestar Steakhouse is right next store and maybe that is the only negative as smelling steaks being cooked from my apartment has caused me to eat out more than I should. The grounds are attractive and there is a great fitness room that I use often. I especially love the layout of my one bedroom apartment as many I looked at where not designed well in order to have any decent furniture. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is another plus for this complex. The pool is one of the nicest of any complex in Albuquerque. I rarely hear anything through the walls so they seem to be well constructed. During my research I did read some negative reviews about Cottonwood Ranch so before I signed my lease I talked to some future neighbors and they liked the apartments. My experience since I have moved in has been very good when it comes to getting anything fixed that needs to be fixed. I feel the staff is friendly and professional. I am very fussy about where I live and I can afford a condo or even some higher end apartments but I see no reason to move as I am one very happy tenant.

I lived in a 3 bedroom apt at Cottonwood Ranch for nearly a year and LOVED IT!!!!! It was so spacious with a homey layout,crown molding,many large windows, garden tub, long counters, vanities and mirrors in the bathrooms, a front porch and the largest balcony of all the apartments I looked at.The grounds were beautiful!!!!! With full grown trees, grass and flowering bushes every where. With the orangish color of the buildings lit up at night,the winding sidewalks and differing placement of the buildings, it was sheer pleasure to walk around at night. The staff kept things very clean (people constantly threw stuff on the ground again). Plenty of trash dumpsters and recycling bins, dog droppings stations. The two pools and hot tub area was spacious, clean and looked beautiful at night. The staff I dealt with were wonderful!! Friendly, warm, genuinely caring; who made every effort to resolve issues. Three times outside servicemen were sent to repair or replace things without hesitation. And how beautifully they decorate the lobby for Christmas! Everything about the place conveyed the attitude of giving the best so residents would be proud to call this home. And I was!!!!! If you appreciate detail, you will love it too.

errible. This may not be an issue if you dont mind walking home from where ever parking could be found. Parking after 8pm is difficult. I cannot keep an eye on my brand new vehicle which i am not a fan of. 2. Billing/Charges disputes. I have encountered billing issues and charges based on interactions or calls i have made where i was provided false information. This is why am searching for another residence. Wohoo 30 day notice! 3. The ladies working in the front are nice. They are not knowledgable. The information from one to another can be completely different. If there is anything important being discussed i would highly recommend getting it in paper and a photo of the girl in case your asked to point her out. (I was asked to point out who gave me the bad information) All in all its a place to live. You pay all utilities. For the amount of frustration it is not worth it. Also the AC in my apartment is useless at times

CottonWood Ranch apartments are in a great location for anything you're looking for. I'm Literally looking at the mall right now. With a skatepark next door and a high school. Great Swimming pool with plenty of space for dog walking. I really enjoy living here with nice neighbors and friendly faces. The one thing that i don't understand is why they have the sprinklers going off multiple times at night. SaveTheWater.

I've been here a bit more than a year, and will stay at least one more. It's in a safe neighborhood with lots of shopping nearby. My apartment is a good value for the money, and has the amenities I want. Maintenance was slow but with new management has made a vast improvement. The only thing that would make me happier is a lower rent!

I moved to Albuquerque from California in 2013 and have enjoyed living in this apartment complex. I have previously lived in apartments but never like this. The office is very welcoming and enjoy visiting with the residents on a day to day basis. They have coffee and morning treats twice a month to say thank you for living here. I would recommend living on the property to all friends and family

I wasn't sure about the whole apartment hunting online. I looked at a few that we're listed. Then I used the apartment app and found pictures of the Cottonwood Ranch Apartments. I reviewed the information and decided to check them out. As I entered the leasing office I was immediately greater by a well mannered and warming manager. I fell in love with all the amenaties including the two pools (especially that there was a heated one), the large play ground, the putting grounds, and volleyball court. The gym also was a plus! I signed a lease with them; me and my daughter are loving the family atmosphere of these apartments! It's everything and more that I could of asked for.

Cottonwood Ranch is the perfect affordable apartment. The apartments are large for the price and the pools are great! They have a gym open from 5am-10pm. The equipment is not brand new, but it is never very crowded. The office staff is great and always willing to work with you. Great apartment for the price!

My apartment complex is in a great location. We have a mall across from us, high school within walking distance. They are very understanding for those with disabilities as well as those with just pets. The grounds are cleaned weekly. They also have 2 section pool as well as a jacuzzi. It is in sight of the fireworks and balloon launch area for Balloon Fiesta. It's in walking distance to a lot of restaurants as well as any grocery stores you will need.

I love living at the cottonwood ranch apt. I get to wake up everyday in a beautiful home. I get to look out my window and feel as if I were in a resort or the mountains. I am sounded by big beautiful trees flowers and breathtaking vines that decorate the out side. For the price I get full size washer and driers, a fully stocked kitchen. which even has a microwave, ice maker, dishwasher, and a gas range Stove and oven. Two huge rooms that fit king size bedrooms sets, walk in closets, plus the master has a huge garden size tub. You would think, well with all of that what else could their be? Well let me tell you. On top of all of that they also have a great sand volleyball court, tennis/ basketball court, two pools, a year around hot tub, a putting course, a fitness center, movie theater, and a kids play ground. I could not ask for a better place to call home.
