To begin with, this place is pretty pricey. Which could be understandable if all the amenities were top notch and maintenance was on point. Neither is the case. the units were updated, but only painted cabinets, cheap fixtures and a stainless steel sink and reftidgerator. the pool is closed more than it’s open, the ‘brand new’ fitness center is only accessible from 9a-2p…I guess it’s not made for people who actually work during the day. Maintenance is horrible. It takes weeks to get things fixed, the gates are broken for weeks and months at a time. They have even eliminated washers and dryers from the units. good thing i got mine replaced twice before the policy changed. If moving wasn’t such a miserable experience i would have left after year one, but definitely doing it after year 2. Find another place, unless your a group of college kids that doesn’t mind your neighbors up and partying at all times of the night. oh ya….even semi-automatic gun fire at a party during my first year. one more thing, we are charged a very premium price for our internet, which constantly goes down. the last attempt at a fix i was told the original ground wiring was done incorrectly….that will NEVER get fixed. so if you want internet, get a unit as close to the offices as you can, otherwise, good luck with your streaming or work for those of you who work from home.

NO water pressure. NO hot water. NO air condition. Shootings / robberies. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!
I’m excited about the renovated homes and private yards, the homes are so spacious and these renovations definitely make me feel like I’m moving into a brand new home.
The staff has not fixed any of our maintenance request for over two weeks. We do not have running water in two of the bathrooms and have been calling every day for no response. The front desk staff is nice but the management and maintenance is slow and inconsiderate.

Nice during the day, at night this complex turns into a free for all. Parties on every block almost every weekend, shootings and fights multiple times a year. Honestly thought it was nice before I moved here, only been here 6 months and I’m counting the days until my lease is up.
I lived here in 2014 and rented a whole house, 3 bedrooms and all. Never had any damage, paid rent on time and everything. After I moved out they charged me $2000 for repairs on the whole house and I'm still dealing with these charges today, to get them off of my credit report...
This is the worst possible option for anyone. I am still dealing with false charges from Aspen over a year after moving out. They may seem nice at first but they wont stay that way. Everyone I have talked to has also regretted living here. Dont do it. You are better off at some other overpriced apartment anyways. Worst decision I have ever made. I have already graduated and lived a few other places since and I am still dealing with their crap. They just want any reason to charge you for random things. They just want to make an extra buck on you, as if they dont take enough in rent already.
There is so much I can say about Aspen Heights and none of it is positive so I would like to start this review by saying that if you are even considering living here, DONT. The only good thing about this place is that if you're looking for party central, you found it. Just don't live at party central. Upon moving in my apartment was already filthy. My dishwasher didn't work, and didn't the entire year I lived here. The "furniture" that I was paying 50$ a month for looked like it was found out by the dumps. Room was in decent shape except for the broken wardrobe that I was given, but hey it's all from the same dump so what was I expecting. I had a hole in the downstairs ceiling that constantly dripped water onto the sofa, and Aspen heights refused to fix it until 9 months after move in. By that time the sofa had some damages which I ended up paying for, but more on that later. Living in this apartment was terrible. Every weekend there were about 1000 people walking the streets and parking wherever they wanted. They call this place a "gated" apartment but don't be fooled. Most of the time the gate was wide open and whenever it was closed people would just wait for someone or drive through the exit gate. There are no security guards. That was a flat out lie that the office told me. The "gym" that this place has is really a non-air conditioned room with broken gym equipment and mirrors, and that was after the 3 months that it was closed for "refurbishments". One good thing about the complex is the pool. It is well kept and very nice. Plus you get to meet other residents and talk about how much you can't wait for you lease to be up. But the pool is constantly being used for local club promotions which means that they are let anyone and everyone in. All in all this was the worst apartment complex I have ever experienced, and I couldn't wait for my lease to end on July 31st, 2017, but it just got worse. Upon moving out I was charged with literally everything they could think of, even though I had left the apartment cleaner than I had found it. This complex will charge you over and over until it's not as affordable as you though. If I could go back I would move a little farther out from campus or pay a little more at a nicer complex. Will update on how my last experience with Aspen heights over the charges goes.
Aspen Heights will charge and fine you for every conceivable thing but when THEY don't do their part to have your place ready, then it's tough luck Sherlock. Such expected BASICS as having a front door with a lock that works, working light fixtures and decently clean carpet is apparently not a concern of theirs. The furniture that is "included" well, not really since there is an extra fee PER MONTH for this junk is exactly that, JUNK. Please do not assume that you must use their tacky dressers, beds and nightstands - bring your own. Closet shelves are broken, the showers are stained and dirty, the concrete floors (yes, concrete floors in most areas) looks nasty, kitchen appliances do not work as described, and more, and more and more.
