I honestly wouldn’t even give it one star if that was an option. I moved in here and my apartment was outdated and had a bunch of mold. Upon telling them, they moved us to another apartment. This is where things got worse! Not only did they constantly gave us ‘late’ charges when we never paid late, their maintenance was the worst ever. I had a newborn baby and our air went out IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER, no one answered or came. My husband, our newborn baby, and I had no cool air for almost a week before someone actually came to fix it, after hearing every excuse in the book about why they couldn’t come earlier. Lastly, and also the driving reason for me to write this review in the first place, they sent us a $1,700 dollar bill after we moved out for ‘damages’. When I tell you there were practically minimal, there was minimal damage. We ended up paying out of our lease from how bad of an experience this place was to us and now we are still reaping the consequences from renting here in the first place. So please take my advice and stay far away!
Cracks in the walls. Old outdated appliances. Horrible mildew hardwood flooring that needs serious cleaning or to be replaced. Cracks in the fixtures. Light for stairs does not work and no where to park car. I wish I could only stay here for 6 months and leave asap.

ALL doors don’t fit the frames. COCKROACHES. Floors are broken/discolored. Peelings walls. Shootings. Didn’t get the apartment we were shown. Broken appliances.
The office leasing consultants Lexi and Kelsey are AMAZING!!! A couple things that I didn't like is no one answered the phone. I would have to call 3-4 times before someone answered. I also, didn't like having to view the apartment alone. The grounds and laundry facility are not maintained. The apartments could use touch ups to the interior and exterior.
Cottage grove is a great place to live in. We have welcoming neighbors. The office staff treat you like family and if there's anything wrong , they will try their best to handle the problem. The apartments are nice and cozy, it really makes you feel like it's your home. As a plus of living here, we have a beautiful pool only open to the residents. This place is really a beautiful place to live.
Love the look of these apartments. Love that they are friendly towards big dogs. When the military moved me here for my new job I had a hard time finding a place that I could have my elderly 60 pound dog. One time pet fee that didn't break the bank, not some monthly "pet rent" that other apartments charged. Military friendly, good neighbors. I have been here for a year already and plan on staying for a couple more!
From looking at the images and talking to the management. Cottage grove is an excellent choice for me. I feel back at home reviewing the floor plans and getting to see the actual apartment was amazing. There nothing more better then this and is rent plans is reasonable. If you're looking for a great place to rest & live i recommend cottage grove apartments
for my first apartment this has been such a wonderful experience. The maintenance is always on time, the staff is so friendly and loving everytime I go by the office. I was so afraid of having my own place but I love ? it. They made it very comfortable and understanding when I moved here and I'm thankful.. Cottage grove has grown a place in my heart..
