The grounds are well maintained and the amenities are modern and accommodating. A lot of natural light in apartments and the pool is saltwater and not cold which makes it more enjoyable.

For my first apartment this experience has been excellent so far
I have posted a review and personally recommended Cortland Wren.
We love living at Cortland Wren. It is a quiet and clean community. The Phase 2 apartments are beautiful and well designed. It is safe and we enjoy walking around. The amenities are really nice and enjoyable.
This is a great place to live, and the location is fantastic. The grounds are lovely and neat, and the apartments are spacious.
I’ve never lived in an apartment in my entire life. I’ve always lived in a big home. My husband and I decided to downsize but we were very nervous about it, but Cortland Wren has made our transition seamless. We love it here, the quiet is just what we needed. Also, the people in the community are very friendly.
I love living at Wren Northlake. The office staff is always welcoming and maintenance is always fast to respond and efficient. Our favorite is the community events where we get to meet other people in the community. Location is great very happy to live here!
Do not recommend this place and you will regret it instantly!!
Since moving to the new side of Cortland Wren Northlake I have been enjoying the personal entrance way. I enjoy the windows since, my old residence did not have any in the unit we lived in. Having the Amazon Hub and mailroom was helpful and makes it convenient to get mail and packages. Also, the layout with all hardwood flooring and the double door entry to the second bathroom is awesome. I am glad we made the choice to move to the new upgraded residence.
I toured the property today with Jessica A. and she was amazing. She was able to give me a tour last minute, which I appreciated and she took me around to two apartments and explained everything to me with great detail. She made sure to find out what was important to me, to make sure I was getting what I wanted and I appreciated that. The property is clean, and I like the fact that the apartments open up in to an actual hallway and not to a breezeway that's right outside your door. Cortland Wren is definitely on the top of my list thanks to Jessica's tour.

I’ve been living here about 6 months now and I love it here. The property is clean and the up to date and the leasing staff as well as the maintenance staff are amazing!
Nate Maintenance team is AMAZING. The are so prompt in getting to you and getting the job done. All of them have the best attitude. Personable and helpful. Even when they are not servicing my apartment, they always speak or wave when coming or going a little bit goes a long way. The staff in the office has been doing a great job too. Rare that I call but when I do, I speak with someone more than not. They pick up the phone. And pleasant as well.
The move-in process was smooth and efficient. I’ve had great communication since touring and even helped with getting the best price. Staff is friendly and more than accommodating. Apartment is clean and comfortable. I enjoy my stay here so far.

Nice apartments. The staff is wonderful. However, the rental rates are too high, especially when renewing the lease. 40% increase at renewal! The common ares, amenities, and parking seem to be shared with the people at the connecting community (not a Cortland property) which strain or eliminate the resources and maintenance staff for Wren! The green landscape is slowly being replaced but unsightly pine straw mulch. The roving security are not helpful, and they are hardly visible in the community. We've had tons of car breakins. Despite all this, Wren is a nice place to live. The community staff are great! However it's changed....not for the better.
We’ve really enjoyed our time at Cortland Wren Northlake. We moved to Charlotte with zero knowledge of the city and we got so lucky finding this resort-style community, also right by the highway so easy access to Uptown. Neighbors are friendly and it’s very dog-friendly. My dog loves to say hi on walks and at the dog parks.

The apartment is spacious and the neighborhood is quiet. I love the doggie park, groomer's station, car-wash, gym, pool, etc. All the amenities are great, and the landscape is kept in perfect condition. The area is very clean and maintenance is easy and fast! Not to mention the events that are very welcoming!

Amazing community and amazing staff! This community is safe and the maintenance of the property is kept up really well. Anytime that I've had any questions or concerns I felt comfortable speaking with the staff in the leasing office. Morgan is and the whole staff is simply amazing!

As a resident I definitely recommend this place for prospects. Valet Trash is my favorite service and it’s very convenient. The pool area is always clean and the resident events or giveaways are always unique. I love living here and it’s stress free. I never have to worry about my safety because the security company is always on patrol.

Cortland Wren NORTHLAKE is a wonderful place to reside. We are one big family with ideas, advice, and fun! It is a quiet, safe, and secure neighborhood which is top tier. I hate soon I will have to move as I love it here !

Wren at Northlake has definitely been a surperb experience. Everything we were shown and told in person as well as on the website is true. Our apartment is great and came as advertised. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and everyone is very pleasant. The leasing office staff is phenomenal and will always ensure they respond quickly and that any issues you have get resolved immediately. They are friendly, personable, and professional. We are always having events and treats to appreciate the residents. I have a friend who lives in a surrounding neighborhood and says they wish their community did half of the things mine did. I think that should tell you enough.

Ive been a resident here for about two years now and have greatly enjoyed my experience. The management team always responds promptly to any service requests or questions I have and the community is kept clean. None of the amenities are ever too crowded and the people here are friendly. Highly recommend

A lot of times you do research about a place, hunt to move then when you actually do there's so much wrong that takes place. Wren is the complete opposite, this property company takes pride in their staff and overall community because they beyond exceed expectations! Thank you Cortland!
The maintenance is really good, usually done within the same day if I submit a maintenance request in the morning. Overall great experience. Package delivery is questionable especially with Amazon.
My experience at Wren Northlake has been exceptional. My apartment is beautifully appointed and located convenient to shopping and highways. Management is responsive and friendly. The grounds are beautiful. I would highly recommend living here to any perspective residents.

The grounds here are extremely well maintained. Service requests are immediately addressed. All staff are professional and responsive. I have lived in two other apartment communities and this one is by far the best!

We moved to Wren directly from a 4200 qf home in Illinois. Although this was intended to be temporary housing, I never expected for it to be so comfortable -- the unit and the community.
Ive been living here for a few months now and love it. Its mostly quiet. The only complaint I would have is sometimes my neighbors above me have their kids running around. Its a bit annoying but I love it here overall. The floor plan is perfect for my sister and I. We both have our own privacy on different sides of the house. Cant wait to see what else Wren has in store for the residents once COVID is contained.
I really love living here at Wren Northlake. My apartment is absolutely beautiful and the staff are responsive to any needs that I have. I have privacy but my neighbors are also friendly. Parking is never difficult and the amenities are great.

This was my first apartment I gained living alone, and I was taken care of from the start. The community is quite and I have not had a single issue since Ive lived here. I am so grateful!
Wren at Northlakes is wonderful community and truly accents the "Queen" in Queen City Charlotte.
Ive emailed the leasing office numerous times about the personal items left hanging from balconies that still are not placed inside. Ive emailed about the stains in stairwell and the common areas. They are short staffed and this has been a concern the entire summer.
