The staffing in cortland are the most lazy and unprofessional team that I ever seen. I moved here from New york city where there are more pressure and busy schedual still work get done better. Here there are not as much apartment to maintain but still you get the worst service ,golf cars sitting there in same spot for hours everyday..redicilous! also office they will stop answering your phone calls once you lease. So Stressful and toxic team!
Poor quality of sercices the way you will be treated before and after the lease is completly different "Trap". Advice: if you have no choice but to live here I suggest take pictures and adress all the issue that you will found when you move in because deff you wont find it ready yet and the managment they will make you pay for every tiny things you did and you did not! Another IMPORTANT thing!! : Do not give permetion to the maintenance guys while you are not home They will mess with your things smoke and use your bathroom .
Love the facilities, beautiful units. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This place is a good place to live it has a good mix of people from the older and younger community. For the most part everyone keeps to themselves and if there is a problem the APT is quick to address it! Every once and a while we need to put in a maintenence request and our go to guy is Nathan! Very timely quick and efficient! Check out this place if you're looking for a place to call home.

Apartments are never perfect, but it's a quiet area with nice enough staff and neighbors. They have security every night, and are cracking down on issues we have had in the past. Nathan is definitely the best maintenance guy we've had. We're on our third lease here.

We have lived here over a year now and can't be happier. We are transplants from another state, and so happy we chose this place. The maintenance is awesome! Love Nate, he is calm and knowledgeable, and when we had an electric issue, he figured it out and fixed it quickly. The area is great for walking our dogs, and love the dog park. They have been doing tons of upgrades this year, new outdoor lights, which makes me feel so safer, and my favorite, the new saltwater pool! So much nicer on the skin. There is some construction going on that makes parking our second car challenging, but the buildings look great! The office staff are great, and have really helped with recommendations in the area

Don’t live here. Terrible communication. They gave 3 day notice for ongoing heavy construction (for the past 2.5 months and they’re still working) with no discount on rent. Also gave no notice about mailbox gate coming down and 3 day notice that mail needs to be picked up at the local post office instead. Expensive rent and expensive utilities. Thin walls. Space heaters don’t work accurately. Dirty balcony upon move in (even dirtier now w construction dust smh). No air conditioning. No elevator. Problems with break ins. Pest problem. Advertised neighborhood car wash is a shack with a crusty hose. But the worst part is hands down the heavy construction that heavily impacts my daily living and ability to work remotely from home.

This is my husband and my first apartment after getting married. We are so please with the friendliness, fast response, and convenience of the staff. Kristie helped us initially and since then has continued to be amazing! I recommend this apartment complex for sure! It’s also close by the grocery store, Homegoods, and a lot of yummy food places.

Nice complex, friendly staff. Easy to work with. Maintenance team is friendly, easy to work with, responsive. I think the rent is high, and I'm not a fan of forced costs for trash. Relatively quiet. Security after hours. Covered parking a plus, not a huge amount of open parking spaces due to remodeling some buildings. Like that a lot is within walking distance. Overall, comfortable here.

The apartments are clean and cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, the maintenance team responds very quickly to requests and issues are usually taken care of within a day, the complex grounds are well maintained and are nice to go for walks in, and the location is strategic (5 minute walk from the Intel RA campus and from Winco foods). Overall, I had a very pleasant experience living in Cortland Village.

This is first 1-star review during my last 10 years of tenancy across different states of USA. + CLV has an excellent maintenance service. A technician shows up in the quickest moment after submitting a maintenance request + The complex is naturally beautiful and close to Intel RA Coming to concerns that I have personally experienced here, let me ask any prospective resident following questions. o Are you a music lover or practitioner? o Are you a fan of cooking? o Are you a health-conscious individual and dependent on free hand/moderate exercise? If answer to any of above questions is yes, I would not choose the tenancy in CLV if I were you. Leasing office attempts to or does curtail/micromanage resident’s way of living to control noise issue or suggests lease break with penalty rather finding a deeper resolution. Many upper floor apartments of CLV has non-carpet flooring (revwood type) which is great at look but notorious in permeating sounds to floor beneath. A normal stroll to restroom in middle of night echoes to apartment below and is considered as "excessive" sound. In my experience, the leasing office takes a spectator/communicator/data collector role in instance of a noise issue/escalation and let the residents either go thru the trouble rest of the tenancy OR break the lease with penalty. !Caution! Any long-term resident-friendly remedy, if asked for, can end up in callous and nonsensical arguments of management. I have seen them running comparative analysis like apartment A got x no of night patrol visits, Apartment B is not there yet, so no remedy can be offered.... Summarizing the down sides of CLV, - Improper floor material from perspective of noise reduction - Poor/ ineffective management o Lot of noises when roof, upper and adjacent apartment services happen. Some occur without sending prior notification to affected residents. o Almost everyday noise of lawn mowing and cleaning. Beware of continuing/ upcoming siding renovation project. o Not a fit to support work from home and hybrid work culture. o Lack of customer care (it is like their way or highway) - Rent/ money wasting engine: o Rent per sqft floorplan of CLV is higher as compared to few Orenco station and almost all Tanasbourne area apartments last I checked. o Extra charge for valet trash service for newer looking apartments **This review is solely based on personal experience and research and not to be misconstrued otherwise**

A review of the amazing Juan, on your team of repair/grounds staff at Cortland Village. Our family has lived here over five years and have had to call for repairs every now and then. The service has always been prompt and experienced, but especially when dealing with someone like Juan's personality. He always engages with me or my family, diagnosing the problem at hand and letting us know what he is up to during repairs, while still treating treating us as equals. I cannot express how much more I feel at ease when seeing his face smiling confidently back at me when I open the door. I just know that I am in good hands! What a relief too, it is just to get a smile & a wave from him in his car cart to us. The staff here is great, but I hope Juan will be given a raise or a promotion, because he is too valuable to loose! I've spoken with a few neighbors and they feel the same!

I’ve lived at Cortland Village Apartments for 1 1/2 years and I really enjoy it. The units are in good shape and the complex is full of greenery, quiet, attractive, and well maintained. They have great amenities that are always well cared for. My unit has great natural lighting and I enjoy coming home each day. It’s also a terrific location. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores (including New Seasons) within easy walking distance. The Orenco MAX station is also within easy walking distance. I’ve lived here without owning a car and it hasn’t been a problem. The office and maintenance staff are also very attentive, nice, and helpful. I’ve only had to ask for minor maintenance a couple times but they’ve always responded quickly and taken good care of things. They also have a good billing system which I take advantage of to automate my rent payments. I’ve never had any problems with it. So I heartily recommend Cortland Village Apartments!
In the 2 weeks we have lived here, the maintenance guys (Mike and Garrett) have been outstanding! Friendly, competent and timely - couldn't ask for more!
