When the Cortland team took over the property several years ago, there were noticeable improvements all around. Since then, the staff has been responsive and maintenance has resolved issues in short order. The access to Tryon Street and also to I-85 is a plus. The management team is engaged with the tenants as demonstrated by various events for residents.
So far I have had no complaints. Staff is amazing, and I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends in the future! Much better than the last place that I lived, so glad I moved.
My apartment was cleaned throughly upon my move in and maintenance took care of each small issue with urgency and care. They even stop me outside once to make sure everything was to my liking. The front desk staff are very patient and understanding to concerns and always returned calls and emails promptly. Greta place to live!
Having lived at University North for 3 years - the staff especially Jordyn, Barry, and Marvin have been great to us and the community. It’s quiet, safe, and we loved the wine on the go!!

I have had the best experience with HuntClub by Cortland. Apartments are gorgeous! Staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and has a positive attitude. Madison and Emanuel have been so helpful during my transfer process. They have made my transition seamless. Also Melvin with the maintenance staff is timely and efficient. When I have any issues with my apartment. I had a leak and he was there and had it handled within 30 minutes of me making the call.

Nice looking apartments, nice workout facility, fun community activities, well-maintained, no noise issues. However, they're expensive, lots of car break-ins with little to no management help or acknowledgement, and no surveillance cameras on the property for resident safety.
I have been living here for two years now and about to renew my lease because I love this community . Ever since Barry, the property manager, took over the community has been improving beyond words! He always makes sure we are pleased with our home and goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need . I am very happy here and I probably will not be going anywhere anytime soon!

The hunt club has been a wonderful place to live. Not only are the office staff extremely friendly and helpful, but so are the maintenance staff. The neighbors are very respectful of everyone around them. The apartments are conveniently located in charlotte and at a reasonable price which is awesome!!
All of the staff I have encountered have been really friendly and try to help you as best as they can. They were able to get me an apartment 3 days before I had to move out of my old apartment. Work orders are handled in a very timely manner! I have recommend Hunt Club to a lot of my friends and coworkers!
Maintenance is amazing!!! Anthony and Melvin are great. They always respond fast and always go above and beyond.
The Parking and towing is ridiculous. I have been living here for awhile and randomly got towed without ever receiving a parking pass.
If you want a quality apartment come to Hunt Club. Affordable rent at an excellent area.

I signed my lease with Hunt Club March 27th, 2018 and have nothing but pleasant things to say about this property and their staff. The apartments are comfy and the pool is even better. The staff are always pleasant and go out their way to make sure your satisfied. Barry, Jordyn and Madison are simply AMAZING! Unlike most complexes who avoid answering the phones the staff at the Hunt Club usually pick up by the second ring! Maintenance request are usually answered within a hour of placing the call and the Maintenance Employee Melvin is a true Gem. I will not be renewing my lease due to my family and I needing more space, however when I mentioned it to the staff although they were sad to hear I was not looking to renew my lease they still assisted me with finding another Cortland Property that better fit my living needs. I would recommend this complex to anyone that is looking to find a luxury home and save money at the same time.
Very happy here so far -- the management has really gone the extra mile to make living at Hunt Club a pleasure.
After looking around for an apartment with the 3 G's (Good Location, Good Price, and Good Management Company) my husband and I finally landed with Hunt Club and it has been such a relief! Barry personally gave us a tour of the complex, showed us the amenities and was overall a great point of contact throughout the process. Definitely recommend them!
Ive only been living at Hunt Club Apartments for a short period of time, but so far I love the apartment. The management team has been wonderful, and any issue Ive had with anything in the apartment was handle quickly. So far this has been a great start to a new living journey!

I have been a resident at Hunt Club going on three years now and the maintenance team is amazing. Always friendly, timely, and informative. Melvin even fixes things that I dont put in that he sees needs to be. Im very happy with their service and timeliness.
I enjoy everything about Hunt Club. It is the best apartment community I've ever lived at my past 12 years. I only have great reviews about the staff and property.
Cortland Partners seems very appealing, but be warned. The insides are immaculate: bluetooth speakers, rainfall showers and brand new countertops. But in reality, the apartment has just beeen pieces together by duct tape and chewing gum. this is my second apartment with cortland partners and you would think that being at a new community things would be different... but they arent. 24 service requests in 6 months. need I say more

Melvin did an awesome job fixing my washer when it broke, and Anthony and the rest of the maintenance team did a great job assisting with my move in.
Management is the only thing that will keep me from living here after my lease is up. Its a shame that the property is beautiful and is usually worth the expense but not when you have to deal with poor customer service and management not doing their best to resolve issues. Beyond annoyed w the same issues in management over and over again.
Maintenance always responds quickly. They go above and beyond. Melvin is the best!!!
This is not a good place to live, if you want to live with college like tenants, where residents can have junk outside their doors & patios! If you want to have loud music and people in the parking lot all times of the night, and if you want the complex pool be the community pool for non residents this is your new home! Welcome Home!!! The staff is great the residents are horrible, young, disrespectful, dont care, trash everywhere, weed smoking etc! I wish I could move take the staff & leave the residence!!
First, at move in I was sold on a recently added on bathroom in the master, isn’t even fully functional, information that was not disclosed to me when I moved in. When I put in a work order to have it fixed, I was told at that time that none of the vents in any of the new bathrooms in the complex worked and it would require major construction not easily performed with tenants living in the unit. The ac/heat has to work harder for that room with no working vent resulting in very high electric bills. Lease renewal offer $108 more for 12 mons on an incomplete unit. Parking horrible. 60 day notice prior to moving out excessive IMO.
