Ms. Beasley did a wonderful job from showing me my apartment all the way to staying in touch with the entire move in process. I love my apartment and I love the amenities that come with it. Maintenance is quick to respond to needs and the gym is accessible 24 hours like it says. Everyone at the front office is friendly and always ready to help.
The community is appropriate for a mid standard living . The management is highly inappropriate in applying a uniform policy for residents and insensitive towards acknowleding errors at their end
Over all it's a great community. There is only on issue I have and that's the parking. There are time that there are lots of people here and they take up all of the parking spots. I think it's sad that your rent is pretty costly. I work two jobs so when I come home at night you have no place close to were you live to park. There is something very wrong with that.
2 years ago I moved from New York straight to Charlotte and Cortland Seventy was officially my first home , this experience has been amazing . I love my home , neighbors and quiet community . Shout out to the maintenance Team who are always quick and on the go right there when you need them . Even though I truly miss Ken and Nancy , Charity has definitely stepped up and brought so much to the community Thank you for valuing us
This community has potential, but needs assistance with managing the property and vetting residents.
The Cortland community is great for the price. The included appliances are modern and fully functional. Just do a little decorating and call it home.
The price of apartment complex is not worth is. Unnecessary charges added to your rent. I had to go to the office several times regarding additional charges. Walls are paper thin. Maintenance will enter your home even when you say not to, it is best to have cameras or a security system.
Overprice, old apartment building poor upkeep, only great thing is the maintenance team
The best apartment complex we have lived at for sure. For the price you pay you get so many benefits. Great location and beautiful atmosphere.

I love living at Cortland 77! The apartments are nice, up to date, clean, etc. the community is quiet, safe, fun. But the best part of living here is the staff! The front office staff and especially the maintenance team. Everybody is so warm and welcoming, happy to help with whatever they can, and always asking how your day was. I love being a resident here at Cortland Seventy-seven, this is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. They are very active with the residence that live here, always engaging in some kind of activities for the community. Like any other community you will always have that handful that don't want to do right but most of all it's very quiet, I feel safe, and they do keep you up to date daily on what is going on in the community.

This is a great apartment complex. Friendly neighbors and staff. The staff here are extremely personable (I love how they know me by name) and the maintenance staff is amazing. They are prompt and respectful and easy to talk to and be around.

There is a difference between being treated like a tenant and being treated like a resident. A tenant may be viewed as someone who occupies an apartment unit and pays a monthly fee for the privilege. A resident is someone who lives in an apartment home within a community of other residents, all of whom enjoy the amenities of the community and are valued by the management and maintenance team of that community through the work they do to provide the best to their residents, and the resident's remit a monthly fee for the privilege. That's the Cortland difference.

Parking lots are too narrow and not comfortable for SUV. Parking lot is not renovated. Management is very favor for SL Recovery team. Lots of roaches and lizard issues inside home as well as patio. Raccoon also exist we and our neighbors have seen it many times.

For the dated complex and grounds it is too expensive for what you receive. Not what we expected when we moved here and other complexes are alittle cheaper with better grounds and updated units.

Pros: Management is excellent Apartment is convenient especially if you work in uptown, it is very close to the Tyvola Train station and there is also a Bus that you can use to go to uptown or connect you with the Train. Cons: Apartment is not a gated community as it has been stated on their website.

Close to downtown, older community so the exterior isn’t the best but the actual living space is decent. Rooms are larger than most apartments in the area. Wish the grounds were better kept, buildings pressure washed, breeze ways swept, etc. Staff is pleasant.

The leasing office staff are so nice and maintenance is super fast and very friendly. It’s a pretty clean area, gated community, love the pool as well as the fitness center.

Staff is amazing, apartment appliances are great & overall amazing place to live. Also a lot of places to go are on Tyvola and you don't even have to get on the highway.
Great area for schools, great activities for the kids at the clubhouse. Beautiful bathrooms and hardwood floor. Plenty of space. Yes they have some quirks but I wouldnt live anywhere else
We really love the complex! Office is friendly, maintenance is fast. Feels just like home. We had multiple service requests and all of then were fast and great. Love you
My AWFUL experience living here for not even two months: Roach issue - it has been only nearly 2 months that I have been living here and there have been roaches every other day. I have called to address this issue and it has been poorly addressed with cheap pest control that does not work. Mice issue- I have now had three mice in my apartment within this short time frame even with 3 mouse traps in the apartment. Even with those traps the last mouse was on the loose in my apartment just as was the first. These infestations are very much a health code issue and are not being taken care of properly even after communication with the office. Inspection- I have called about my apartment being inspected thoroughly to see how there are so many pests getting in, especially the mice. I have yet to have that inspection even after being told by the office staff that it would happen. That was weeks ago. I have also called about my water stripping being replaced at my front door because it is not completely sealed and I have seen numerous smaller roaches enter though that area. Again, I was promised multiple times that it would get replaced and it has yet to be replaced. I also called the office on 9/20/21 because I wanted to talk about options regarding the infestations and I have yet to receive a call back. This goes to show that I am having an infestation issue and I am being neglected by the team and maintenance staff. I am very unhappy living here. It is outright disgusting at this point and very much against the health standard that this apartment complex should be living up to. I am miserable living here. It is the worst experience I have ever had living in an apartment. If I could leave I would in a heart beat. This living environment is disgusting and I am very displeased.
Cortland 77 is no more the kind of community it used to be 1 years back . The service maintenance and the staff courtesy has degraded with standard of living going down with each passing month
Cortland Seventy Seven is a clean community with a private feel. I enjoy the amenities and the events are plentiful and diverse. Overall I would recommend this complex.
Its a great place to live. The community is nice and amenities are awesome as well. When help is needed they are always there!
Absolutely loved living here, renewed my lease 3 times and lived in 3 different floor plans. Amenities are great and the office team is even better! Awesome location to Uptown without the Uptown prices, quick $10 Uber to anywhere. Less than 2 miles from LoSo and Arysley. 10 minute drive to the airport. Would definitely recommend Cortland Seventy Seven!
Courtland 77 is a pleasant place to live. Nice apartments and quiet neighbors too. I feel very safe there with my 2 children.

I have lived at Cortland Seventy Seven for two years, and just signed my third lease. My one-bedroom apartment is perfect for me, makes me feel at home, and has all of the amenities I need. I love the modern design. The community is safe, quiet, and welcoming. Maintenance has always taken care of me, and the team is very friendly. You can't find rent like this anywhere else in Charlotte, especially for the quality that Cortland provides! I have recommended three people to live here, and all three ended up moving in!
This is a great place to live in Charlotte. Im going into my 4th yr here and greatly recommend it. Its in a very good location, communication is good, staff is efficient and professional! And the grounds are well kept!
Please stay away. I am eagerly waiting for my lease to complete. Roach infested units and they will not hire pest control company to do the job. Unit wasnt cleaned properly. Doors and window screen leaves crevices open for bugs and roaches. Big no to this place.
Cortland Seventy Seven is a wonderful place to call home. I am truly happy that I chose to live in this community. The office team is very friendly and any maintenance items are completed very quickly. I appreciate the COVID-19 communication and updates.

Cortland 77 has been so great. The rates are very fair for the area, and it's close to everything. 10 minutes from South End, 5 minutes to a light rail stop, and has shopping and activities nearby. I'm so glad I decided to move here.
Honestly, other than the roach problem, things are pretty great. The apartment itself is nice and staff is pretty on top of things. Just maybe... look into a more permanent solution.
