Close to a lot of stores and restaurants, which are within walking distance. The Trinity river walk is a mile away and a beautiful walk. Pet friendly and pet parents love to introduce their fur babies to anyone friendly enough to meet them. Very nice appliances including washer and dryer. Again very close to everything and the Medical District, and Sundance Square.

This community is bittersweet. The location is hard to beat. The interior features are a luxury that typically come with a big mortgage payment. This place has so much potential and at a reasonable price. However, the greatness of this community is marred by the horrendous neighbors and zero lack of policy enforcement. From the office to the courtesy officers, you wonder if anyone actually works here. They don’t care to help or fix any issues. All they know how to do is send out automated emails. And then you have the courtesy officers who are annoyed about you contacting them. Why work here if you can’t stand people contacting you. Make it make sense. None of the employees have any pride in this community and it shows. It’s a shame because it really is a beautiful apartment in the best location.

Cortland has been our favorite complex to live. Beautiful landscape, updated amenities, lovely staff. The maintenance team is efficient and friendly. It feels safe, quiet and welcoming here. Pet friendly with a gated dog park and multiple pet stations throughout. They took precautions for a winter storm that came through with high priority for resident safety and protection of property. No complaints!!

TERRIBLE Apartment Complex - No accountability from staff
Absolutely TERRIBLE apartment complex! I have lived in this apartment for about 2.5 years, I keep a clean apartment, and pretty much keep to myself outside of the MANY maintenance requests I need to put in. While these issues have persisted for a while, things are just progressively getting worse. MAJOR "INCOVENIENCES" 1. My A/C unit broke a few months back and while the fix was relatively quick, it took about 1 month for the apartment complex to admit they're at fault and reimburse me for a $600 electricity bill! Mind you, that my apartment was getting up to approximately 95 degrees F (if I was not running the A/C unit full blast) before the fix, yet this was not justification enough. I had to personally call someone to check the meter, which the manager actually questioned the validity of their readings/report when I gave it to them. I then had to pull my electricity bills and weekly usage reports, from the entire time I have lived here, then provide it in a graphical format so they can compare the spike in usage to the dates the A/C unit was messed up. I had to go to the front office various times, spoke to many people, was given the runaround, and eventually had to escalate it up to the Director of Operations. 2. [Currently still an issue/dispute]. I live on the 3rd floor and heard a scratching/gnawing sound about a week ago... 'something' was chewing away at my ceiling.. in my PANTRY. It took about a week, and two trips to the front office to get anyone up to my apartment to address the issues. On top of that, the office has relayed to me twice that the issue was "fixed", just to come home and see a hole STILL in my pantry ceiling. This has been a week long dispute where maintenance has entered my apartment various times without my permission, the issue is still not fixed, and after talking to both management and the Director of operations, nothing has come of it. In fact, the D.O's reply to the situation was to ask me to quantify how much food I had to throw away (which I appreciate) but then was followed up by " Based on the pictures you sent me, it looks like those are pieces of chipped sheetrock as opposed to being debris from an animal-was any of your food uncovered in the pantry?"...I in fact, was not there to discuss the semantics of what kind of debris fell on my food...

Jordan as well as the rest of the staff are kind and friendly. Maintenance is handled in a professional and timely manner. The apartment is excellent and so are the amenities. The gates can use some improvement and more cameras could be added for safety, security, and accountability.

This is the best customer service ever received in the last 3 apartment buildings we lived in. The average response to service requests is within 24 hours unless is low priority and is weekend. The front desk staff is super helpful, always responding with a positive attitude! We are moving to a house soon otherwise we would have stayed here much longer! Fabulous place to live. Grounds are well maintained, and my apartment was in pristine condition when I moved in. All the employees, both office and maintenance folks, are unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Great community amenities - beautiful pools, meeting rooms, and workout rooms (new equipment!)

Super convenient location. Friendly but unresponsive office staff. Great maintenance team. Other than the people doing burnouts in the parking lot across the street it’s a relaxed and quiet community.

This apartment complex is amazing and feels like home. I’m coming from NYC and after recently relocating to these apartments I was so scared and nervous. I am so happy I choose this place to call home. If I make a maintenance request they are always here within the same day! The neighbors are quiet and friendly. We live good here!

Cortland Ridglea is hands-down, the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. The staff have gone above and beyond to take care of me here, including getting me a condolence card and gift bag after I mentioned to someone in the office that I'd lost my beloved cat of 16 years. I was so touched by this unexpected, kind gesture.

Its a beautiful place and very quiet. It makes you feel great to see all the trees here. The pool is huge and even accommodated with a restroom if needed on a spur. Residents are friendly and the security guard does a great job. The maintenance guys are friendly and when they come out to fix something they try to get it done that day. Parking could be better but not really a problem so to many places to go In And out with a card. The landscaping is always top notch I give them Chris on who they get to do that.

Do not move to this community!!!! The manager does not return calls and the apt complex is super old. My apt has been smelling like cats for months and I do not have an animal. The maintenance men are sketchy and slow.
