This place is unsafe and the management is a joke. There’s rampant construction consistently and you will never have peace and quiet. One star.

Please have your new manager and leasing assistants introduce themselves to the community. We were unaware the leadership had changed . They lock the door when they are sitting in the office so residents cannot come in Very weird and un welcoming

I've been living at Cortland Red Mountain, and my experience has been very positive! The community has a modern, well-maintained vibe, with excellent amenities that make everyday living more enjoyable. The apartments are spacious, with updated finishes and plenty of natural light, which I love. One of my favorite things about Cortland Red Mountain is the surrounding environment. The landscape is beautiful, and the nearby Red Mountain Park adds a wonderful touch of nature. The location is also quite convenient, with shopping centers, restaurants, and other services close by, making it easy to get what I need without a long drive. The leasing office and maintenance teams are friendly and responsive, always willing to help with any questions or issues that come up. Security around the complex is reassuring as well, making it feel like a safe place to live. Overall, I highly recommend Cortland Red Mountain to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to call home!
I have been living here since Jan of this year second time renting and I gotta say I have loved living here management is super nice and maintenance team is great always working hard everyone is super nice and apts are always clean I haven’t had any isssues at all.
The amenities are great, they have beautiful apartments and very well distributed. It is a peaceful place to live.
Nice and beautiful apartments, friendly and helpful staff, great location in the Phoenix metro area with many attrsctions within a short drive. 7/10 would recommend. Opportunities include overcharging a bit less for rent and services (but this is the world we live in), improving their pool and gate maintenance (which are fairly common issues at many apartments), and endeavoring to build a sense of community through engaging activities for their residents (which seems to only really happen in senior communities and college dorms, as if between the ignorance of youth and the doorstep of the great beyond we all are uninterested in having a life beyond our work).
I truly love living here at Cortland Red Mountain. The application process was easy. There was a strong line of communication between us and our leasing agent. I appreciate how easy it is for us to reach out to management for any concerns. Everyone who works here are very nice, helpful, and welcoming! The community is clean and peaceful, and our neighbors are respectful. I always recommend Cortland to friends and colleagues who are in search for a place to live.

I live on the Northside of Roosevelt. This side is pretty quite and the area is clean. Once in awhile, you can hear the traffic noise from 202 freeway.
My move in experience was very smooth and office staff/management was very welcoming! The community is clean and well kept and amenities are great! Overall I feel staff is responsive, friendly, and welcoming to members of the community.
I haven’t lived here but I took a tour with Cait and she was amazing! She was helpful and answered all my questions and even checked in with me after the tour. Amazing looking apartments that you should definitely look at.

Move here if you like the look of the apartments but don’t care if the amenities offered are not up-kept and if staff never fixes your issues. Do not move here with an animal they do not care for the dog park.

I've been a resident for two months now and I can honestly say this place is well worth it. I never write reviews, but the apartment search in the Phoenix area has been the hardest I ever encountered and I've lived in previous apartments before. Cortland Red Mountain was the best choice I could have picked, after months of research and too many apartment tours. The office staff here were immediately welcoming and it's still been that way ever since I've been here. It was actually Maria that fully convinced me to sign a lease here, even though I felt no pressure from her whatsoever, in the beginning. They were more than accommodating to my requests and millions of questions, and ever since I've been here, each maintenance requests have been filled in a prompt manner. The apartments are big and reasonably priced and the neighbors seem friendly. I feel safe within the gated community and the grounds are always taken care of. As a new resident of Phoenix AZ, I hope to stay here for a long time, and I couldn't be happier that I found this place.

When I first move to Phoenix, I did my apartment hunt and visited several complexes, but when I got here, I felt right away that Cortland Red Mountain was it! even tho I still had other appointments booked. I enjoy the environment, the staff has always been friendly and I really appreciated their help on the moving process. One year living here, I had to move to a bigger apartment and it was such an easy decision to stay in this site and just do a transfer.

I began renting back in October of 2022 and have loved it ever since. The apartment itself is really nice and up to date. The staff and maintenance are wonderful and I have not had any issues. Actually love the fact they are including more and more community events and outreach. On top of that, there are a lot of friendly neighbors with cute doggos walking or using the dog parks. Overall, my experience so far has been bery wonderful.

Great place and friendly staff. Came for a tour and Cristal was very helpful and answered all our questions/concerns. Definitely considering this place.

Great place to live I love it here. The staff here are great friendly.
Love living here! The staff is beyond helpful and will help you with anything they need. Maintenance is great and they will come and help you out anytime of the day even on the weekends on a Sunday night very helpful staff.
My 2nd apartment in Phoenix and I love it. Quiet, clean and great location.
I have been living here for 6+ months now and I love it here. I especially love the assistant manager Ashley. She was extremely helpful with my move-in and extremely helpful with anything else I have needed since I have been here. Everyone is super friendly.
I'm new to the area and loving it so far. Have been ordering a lot of things online & the package pick up system has been the best. Way better than my previous property. I would recommend Red Mountain.

Great place to call home with the most friendliest staff.
The amenities and apartment are great, just hope to not have any major maintenance issues.
You do your part they will definitely do theirs I been here almost 10 years and staying
I'm enjoying my stay at Cortland Red Mountain. Love my unit and its surroundings; not to mention how quit this community is. Would definitely recommend it.

Manager does not care about tenants and blames it on them when it's brought up to her attention. You will feel disrespected with their professional condescending tones.
Cortland is a very safe, quite place to live. The community employees are very professional and helpful when issues arise. We've lived here for 3 years, the location between Tempe and Phoenix restaurants and shops are covienence. Cortland provides contests to residents, dog park availability.
Not given the living experience we are paying for. Overcharged for poor security, unfinished apartment and poor responding to emergency maintenance calls. Wouldnt recommend.
This is a great place to live. Clean, quiet, and the management team is the best!
We have not had a positive experience since living here, and we have only been here a month. Poor communication, lying staff, and inability to pick up the pieces of the poorly selected contractors.
I've lived here for 2.5 years and have enjoyed my living experience at Cortland. The location of the facility is great. The maintenance and leasing staff are very friendly and helpful.

I looked at so many apartments but Cortland Red Mountain is by far the best and I knew right away that was the place for me! The staff is great and very helpful. The property is clean and feels safe.
Apartments are very nice, maintenance comes quickly and fixes things on the rare occasion they break.
