We honestly did love our apartment, it felt like a luxury apartment but many things have changed and for the price we pay the good no longer outweighs the bad. I've had my car broken into, maintenence walk into our home without warning (unlocking our door), cockroach infestation, terrible parking situation, the amount of accidents we've nearly been in due to the blind spots around the garages. Unfortunately we just don't feel it's the best or safest we can do for our newborn. We are hoping moving out early will be approved by management respectfully so we can leave a decent review because this place did feel like home for some time.

This is a horrible place to live in. Everything inside the house is falling apart. My floor plan is horrible, there's no windows in the living room or dining room so smell from cooking is always trapped. Management is terrible. They will make you feel that you are frustrated that's why you are complaining about something whereas they don't realize that they always fail to help you with your problems. Please don't consider this as your next home. You'll regret!!

This complex has a lot of double standards and the communication feels very passive aggressive. The actual apartment itself is nice, but I would recommend going elsewhere to a more welcoming place with positive communication.

So many different conveniences within the property AND with all the shops and things surrounding it. It makes living easier. I love the management here. I’ve been here half a year and they have been very helpful with payment options. They are very great at helping people out with different situations, and handle it appropriately.
We love our apartment with the high ceilings and quality appliances, however parking is atrocious as there are practically zero open spots and even the covered spots are far. Cockroach problems, communication problems with both office and maintenance. Expensive for what you get
Spacious & reasonably priced living here! My kids love to go swimming so we enjoy the pools always being cleaned & ready for use! We’re close to the freeway as well as gas stations & restaurants! You won’t regret living here!

My only gripe would be the gates stay down a lot. Other then that I think this is a very nice community
I loved it when I first moved here. But I truely do not recommend living here anymore. Communication around actual issues that could affect people’s living situations is lacking.
The complex is nice, and the surrounding area is great. Sometimes it can get a bit dirty, and whoever cleans the spaces is inconsistent, but it is usually fine. Unfortunately, the employees in the front office are terrible. They are unhelpful, unbothered, and uncaring. They want to do as little work as possible. We've had four ceiling leaks in two years - we had to continue to call them to get anything fixed. My car was broken into and I wanted to notify them - they said "we already received that report." I know I can't ask for much, but I think they could better manage their communication.

Our onsite maintenance team works diligently to keep the grounds clean daily. If you have an area of concern that we may have missed, we are happy to have it addressed as soon as possible. I regret to hear about the leaks that have occurred in your home. We work to complete each work order in the order they are received in and try our best to meet the schedule requirements of our residents and vendors. If this issue is still ongoing please submit a service ticket and we will review it right away. If you or any other resident should become aware of vandalism or any other illegal activity taking place within our community, we ask that you please report it directly to the local police department so they can begin their investigation as well as to our team so that we may file an incident report. We do get daily communication sent to us anytime officers are called to our property as a part of the Mesa Crime Free program and we communicate those calls to our Courtesy Patrol who is on site 7 nights per week as well as note the resident account. The loudest place I have ever lived would not recommend
Great location! The management team is very professional and nice. They communicate great! And the swimming pool area is amazing
I really enjoy living at Cortland Mountain Visa. We have the best manager, Ashley. And, Samuel is always so helpful whenever I call about anything. Our whole office team rocks. Andrew is our Maintenance Manager and he and his team have always responded quickly to any of my maintenance requests. They're a good team. And, because of the folks who work here, Cortland Mountain Vista is a great place to live.

You can go to the front office with anything. They will always be there for you and any issues you may have. That is very nice to have.
My wife and I have been living from apartment to apartment for the past few years and Cortland Mountain Vista is by far the best apartment complex and community weve been apart of. From the staff members to the residents, everyone is friendly. The community is clean, quiet and you cant beat the resort style living. Best place weve lived at so far. We love it here!

Courtland has been a wonderful home to me. The community and facilities are well kep, up to date, safe, fun and clean. The management staff is very professional and responsive, and they truly do all they can to make sure you are happy and comfortable.
Beautiful place to live. Very clean. Great office staff. Great maintenence team. Biggest con is parking. You're only allowed to register one car and yet have no guaranteed parking within the complex unless you pay for it. A lot of us just have to park outside of the gate and complex at times.
I would definitely look for other options before moving here. In the apartment you can hear every step the people above you take, as well as in certain parts of the apartment you can hear the people talking from other units. If you get home after 530pm there's a good chance you wont find a parking spot near your apartment sometimes having to park on the other side of the complex. Also the apartments don't do well to keep outside noise out, if you live near the pool/hot tub you can hear the kids playing loudly daily as well as regularly people staying out in the hot tub until 11-12 at night. During the 8 months of living here the office has also had to send out emails 3-4 times about police having to be called to the apartment for altercations as well as one time for a weapon being fired within the community.
We have lived in Cortland Mountain Vista for over 3 years in 2 different apts and we love it here. Great location, great staff and great maintenance crew.

Great community. Pretty quiet and not directly in the city. Community team is great with effective communication. Maintenance is awesome. Parking is sometimes a headache if neighbors have guests but overall great place to live. Nice amenities.

The team with both the office and maintenance men are always here to help and bend over back wards for the folks living here. The grounds are cleans and the new renovated apt.s are so beautiful.
The apartment units are nice but if you are going to move here I would definitely recommend getting a 3rd floor unit and away from the pool. Being on the second floor you can hear every step the person above you makes with how the floors creek. Also the pool is open kind of late and isnt monitored so you can hear people yelling at the pool all day up until sometimes 11 or 12 at night.
I love living at Cortland. We have the best staff & maintenance ever. Sarah & her management team really care about making apartment living a positive experience. And, Andrew, our maintenance manager, & his staff take pride in their work. I highly recommend Cortland.

Cortland is a nice place to live. The complex is huge and upgrades are extremely nice. The pool area is great to lounge in. For the most part it is quiet around here. I like that it's gated. The rooms are spacious and good sizes. Convenient to almost everything. The office staff could be better. Maintenance is good and responsive.

Cortland is the key to Home Sweet Home
My only cons is some of our neighbors leave trash, dog waste, or clutter on balconies and it's an eye sore and creates more pest problems. Last con is when requesting pest management would like it sooner then every Friday. When we report a pest problem, should be taking care of immediately so the pest don't multiple. Takes longer to get rid if of an infestation. So this is a non smoking community and smoking still occurs. But overall I love the ammenities and living here.
