Cortland Desert Ridge is positioned in the right location in N. East Phoenix . This allows for great access to freeways , shopping and fun activities for both singles n families . It’s a safe community where everyone is friendly and feels at home .
Overall, the service is great and I really enjoy living in such a diverse community.
We have been quite impressed with our time here. From the management, to the maintenance, to the landscaping upkeep, to the utility services, it has been a first-rate experience. Surprisingly, for being in such a relatively quiet neighborhood, within a mile in either direction are found about every type of restaurant, shopping, entertainment, and major roadways (51 and 101). We'll say it again - quite impressive.
I have not lived at many apt complexes in my life but I think that Cortland would probably rate very high in livability. It certainly rates higher than the one I lived in before in Florida, although that one was considerable older.
Cortland Desert Ridge is a wonderful place to live. The grounds are well maintained and are beautiful. The pools and exercise area are kept clean and in good repair. Maintenance issues are addressed very quickly and they follow-up on their requests. We would highly recommend moving into Cortland Desert Ridge.
First of all it would be great if my parking spot didn't get flooded every time it rains. It has been over 3 weeks that we had a massive amount of rain, and my parking spot is still totally mudded. Not even to try to power wash it so I can have a decent clean spot. Oh... wait, if you power wash it will flood again... I get it! Also, I have never lived in a place where the AC unit is so loud that is affecting my sleep. It's old, inefficient and extremely loud.

I really enjoy living at Cortland. When they say luxury living it really shows, from the staff to the amenities although I am relatively new to the area I would recommend Cortland. This is one of my favorite apartment living experiences to date!
We would highly recommend Cortland Desert Ridge as a place to call home. The complex feels safe, is clean, and has many amenities. The maintenance and office staff are very personable and always ready to help.
Apartments are ok. Rents high for what you receive! Last parking is a nightmare so many open spots not being used because they are for “future residents” making you park across the street from the complex then walking over.
Honestly the place overall is really nice. The only thing is it’s pretty pricey for a place where the parking is garbage. There’s little to no free parking for the homes that are 3bed with roommates with multiple cars. Most people end up having to park across the street in the business parking. And walk home.
Location is great! Noise is kept at a minimum/is rarely a concern. The apartment interiors are new and feel luxurious.
Compared to the options in the area, Cortland Desert Ridge Apartments have been the best place for us. They are reasonably priced, provide higher quality service and appliances, located in a convenient yet private part of Phoenix, and don't feel too crowded.
As opposed to other apts. I have lived in, Cortland has surpassed all of them in my opinion.
Cortland Desert Ridge is a safe and comfortable living situation.
I highly recommend Cortland properties. Staff is great and any maintenance issues you may have are taken care of in a reasonable time frame which is nice. Units have a comfortable welcome home feel that other complexes do not. Grounds and amenities are cleaned regularly I checked out several complexes in the area when I was looking to rent and Cortland Properties was the best

We love living here due to the safe, quiet, and beautiful community it provides for us and our two dogs. The unique and spacious floor-plans, high ceilings and lovely interiors make it feel like almost like a detached home. Cortland DR has a lovely family-centered community and is a unique gem of an apartment community in Phoenix.

Cortland Desert Ridge's geographically is perfect. Two FWY's within a mile. Every store one can need within 5-10 min. drive. Including Whole Foods, Home Depot, Sprouts, Beauty stores, specialty stores and it is all in all a quiet neighborhood. The property itself is always kept updated - Gardens, Pool, Hot tub, and an amazing Gym. Cortland Desert Ridge also offers free Yoga classes and a trainer for work out at the Gym.
