I stayed at Cortland Bermuda Lake for over a year, and my experience was nothing short of phenomenal! From day one, I have been impressed. I arrived to a clean and shiny apartment. The maintenance guys were always on top of their requests. All in all, I don't have a single complaint but tons of praise! Living at Cortland Bermuda Lake has been a positive experience. The community is peaceful and safe. The price is generally reasonable and the apartments themselves are beautiful. Any non-urgent issues that are needing to be resolved are dealt with within 24-48 hours typically. The main con is the fact that parking can be hard to get some days. For example, you may have to park quite far away from your building because a spot is not open closer. The trash valet can also be off and on. Overall, I highly recommend moving here.

1. It may be time to try a different type of gate as the current one is always down. 2. It would be nice if residents would stop adding loose trash to others bins. That’s not the apartments fault but it’s an issue. 3. Although you have proper waste areas for Dogs, some residents still don’t pics up after their dogs. 4. The people in the office and the corporate office are very nice, polite, considerate, and helpful. 5. A noise reminder would be nice. 6. The service staff is very helpful and nice! 7. In regards to the gate, if we can have the exit gate open more that would be great. It would stop people from exiting the entrance gate and lessen potential accidents. Honestly I would just get rid of the gate until a proper one can be put in. Saying it’s a gated community when the gate only works 5 times a year is not good. 8. The interior and exterior design is very nice, and I love living here.
My beautiful place to live and enjoy life with a reasonable rental payment at this time.
It's rare to live in an apartment complex where you have a connection with the office staff and the maintenance crew. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Even going so far as to call me by my name when they pass and say Hi! Now that's a nice touch and goes a long way in making my stay here pleasant.
Living at Cortland Bermuda Lake is like living in a 5-star Resort. The staff is exceptional! The sense of community makes you feel like part of a great big family.
This is the best apartment I’ve lived in during my 8 years of renting. The staff is courteous, the service men are prompt, and honestly no complaints. There always can be improvements but my year of living here has been enjoyable and I hope my second is the same if not better!

The apartment complex is extremely well kept, and reasonable for the price given. Communication between staff and residents is concise and responsive, and any issues will be addressed and solve swiftly. Since moving here from New York in May of 2023 I've loved every minute. Not only is Florida such a lovely change of pace for the lifestyle, but the living accommodations are fantastic. The complex is updated and very well kept. Office and maintenance are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend moving here.

I am extremely happy I have made this apartment community my home. The staff is always a delight to talk to, they are always professional, polite, and caring to any of your concerns. The tranquility of this apartment community is so relaxing, very quiet, and there are so many activities you can enjoy. This is a gated community, but the gate is always broken. If you're looking for a safe place, look around. The front desk staff is good, but maintenance takes weeks to get to you. We will definitely be moving when our lease expires.

The apartment layout is very nice. Favorite part is the kitchen. There’s lots of parking for residents as well as guests. Besides that, there are a ton of negatives. 1) noise levels - neighbors are very loud and inconsiderate of others. Constant yelling and screaming to the point where one time it sounded very abusive so we immediately contacted management and nothing was done at all. They say they can’t do anything about it. Like what? You can’t make sure that your tenants are and feel safe?! It’s also very annoying when you’re paying so much for rent just to be woken up minimum 3x a week for 3-5 hours straight due to constant yelling and screaming. 2) Community isn’t clean. There’s a lot of trash outside. I constantly find leftover McDonald’s food on the sidewalks, dental floss, garbage spilled out from the members who pick up trash, and not to mention, people don’t pick up after their pets. The apartment community states they fine those who don’t pick up but they really don’t do anything. 3) To add to valet trash, I don’t see the point of it when they don’t pick up on time or at all. There are days when the trash doesn’t get picked up until a few hours late or gets completely missed. They constantly stress to not leave your trash out for more than 2 hours before scheduled pickup but they don’t even pickup when they’re suppose to. With all this being said, I wish the apartment community was more helpful and cared more about their tenants. Like I said, the apartments look nice on the inside but the management office could care more.

I love living at Cortland Bermuda! My apartment is very spacious and updated. The amenities such as the pool, clubhouse and gym are gorgeous. It’s a quiet place to live situated back behind residential neighborhoods on a beautiful lake. The wildlife here is amazing and they offer food trucks regularly!

Don’t feel safe in this community. Neighbors are extremely loud. Driving by quickly, blaring music. Gate is always broken. Landscaping needs work. Would NOT recommend
Overall, living here is mixed bag. Service requests are completed quite fast and wellbut some of the facilities are just not up to par. The gates break way too often and we bring our own trash to the dumpster now because the valet trash service is unpredictable. Its always a bet if they will take your trash out and when they dont end up getting to it, the raccoons or possums like to get in there overnight and rip apart your trash, making a huge mess. At this point, I think because we havent used this service in months, we should be able able to opt out of the fee.
This is a great place to live. All the amenities are great, and the community is super quiet. The neighbors are nice too. Anything I need is always provided, and the staff is super helpful.

This has been one of the worst management groups I've had to deal with. Recently we've dealt with wasps flying in through one of the vents in our bathroom. We've submitted 5 service requests over the interval of a few months and the requests have always been closed without any resolution. Additionally, reaching the office management is nearly impossible. No one ever responds to the office phone line and leaving a voicemail doesn't result in anything either. We've also tried reaching a helpline by sending out emails but most of the time no one responds. The valet trash service is awful. Whenever we leave our trash out at the designated times it's like taking a gamble whether or not it will actually be picked up. Usually, the racoons or possums end up getting in the trash first and creating a huge mess in the hallway... Recently, we've resorted to just throwing out our own trash by the dumpster (which by the way is disgusting... usually trash is piled up outside of the compactor which makes it extremely difficult for us to properly dispose of trash without walking through mounds of trash). Additionally, the hallways are rarely cleaned, there's huge wasps nest on practically every building in this complex, and the hallways are dirty and moldy.
Leasing office staff is great but the community is unsightly and hardly kept up with.
I Loooove my apartment. I have lived here for three months now. There huge inside, my kitchen is amazing. The grounds are very serine and plush and the sunsets are to die for! The staff treats you like you are family! I highly recommend this community.
I had a tour of the property with Jennifer. She was very thorough. She answered all of my questions and made me feel very welcomed. Looking forward to calling this my new home.
