It is truly a community here! The office staff does a wonderful job with creating an atmosphere of unity, friendship, and a great community experience!
My move in was unique because of the government shutdown. The property did accommodate me with a date change. I wasn’t given a tour of the property. So there’s some amenities I may not know about. The apartment wasn’t thoroughly cleaned I had to have it done. The shower doors should have been replaced or the bases should have been cleaned. There was gunk buildup. There’s paint splatter everywhere ie floor mirror and baseboards from non professional painters. Things like these should be taken care of before someone moves in. These are older buildings I later found out. I should have done more research but due to time constraints I wasn’t able to physically visit the property. For the price at least ceiling fans and lights in the room should have been installed.

The beautiful landscape and quiet community has been wonderful, as well as the office staff and helpful maintenance crew. While there is room to elevate the community with improvements in a few areas, the apartment renovations are the best we have seen after carefully searching for months and viewing over 14 other communities! We love to cook and the kitchen is great and bigger than most with tons of storage! We love the amount of space in each room and larger balcony. We also appreciate a true laundry room. Glad we made the move!

I have been living at Cortland Bermuda Lakes for a month shy of a year and I must say my experience has been great. The neighbors are nice, the management team is great and the amenities is nice. The Cortland Bermuda Lake community is a somewhat like living in a peaceful retreat. The community is mostly quiet and neighbors are friendly. It has a great balance of nature and convenience. Although it is not convenient walk to shops and stores, there is an abundance of those within a three mile radius and the highway as a plus.

I stayed at Cortland Bermuda Lake for over a year, and my experience was nothing short of phenomenal! From day one, I have been impressed. I arrived to a clean and shiny apartment. The maintenance guys were always on top of their requests. All in all, I don't have a single complaint but tons of praise! Living at Cortland Bermuda Lake has been a positive experience. The community is peaceful and safe. The price is generally reasonable and the apartments themselves are beautiful. Any non-urgent issues that are needing to be resolved are dealt with within 24-48 hours typically. The main con is the fact that parking can be hard to get some days. For example, you may have to park quite far away from your building because a spot is not open closer. The trash valet can also be off and on. Overall, I highly recommend moving here.

1. It may be time to try a different type of gate as the current one is always down. 2. It would be nice if residents would stop adding loose trash to others bins. That’s not the apartments fault but it’s an issue. 3. Although you have proper waste areas for Dogs, some residents still don’t pics up after their dogs. 4. The people in the office and the corporate office are very nice, polite, considerate, and helpful. 5. A noise reminder would be nice. 6. The service staff is very helpful and nice! 7. In regards to the gate, if we can have the exit gate open more that would be great. It would stop people from exiting the entrance gate and lessen potential accidents. Honestly I would just get rid of the gate until a proper one can be put in. Saying it’s a gated community when the gate only works 5 times a year is not good. 8. The interior and exterior design is very nice, and I love living here.

It's rare to live in an apartment complex where you have a connection with the office staff and the maintenance crew. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Even going so far as to call me by my name when they pass and say Hi! Now that's a nice touch and goes a long way in making my stay here pleasant.
Living at Cortland Bermuda Lake is like living in a 5-star Resort. The staff is exceptional! The sense of community makes you feel like part of a great big family.
This is the best apartment I’ve lived in during my 8 years of renting. The staff is courteous, the service men are prompt, and honestly no complaints. There always can be improvements but my year of living here has been enjoyable and I hope my second is the same if not better!

The apartment complex is extremely well kept, and reasonable for the price given. Communication between staff and residents is concise and responsive, and any issues will be addressed and solve swiftly. The apartment has a more than spacious kitchen, cabinets, and storage that anyone would love. I highly recommend anyone to check out the apartments and grounds.

Since moving here from New York in May of 2023 I've loved every minute. Not only is Florida such a lovely change of pace for the lifestyle, but the living accommodations are fantastic. This is a gated community, but the gate is always broken. If you're looking for a safe place, look around. The front desk staff is good, but maintenance takes weeks to get to you. We will definitely be moving when our lease expires.
