Residents and the safety there of is not a priority for this community. As a resident of over 5yrs, the only reason I've stayed is b/c due to illness its hard to move out of a 3rd floor apartment. But the lack of care and upkeep of the property w/ the execption of weekly lawn maintenance; my mind is definitely made up that this will be my final year as a resident of Cortland Belgate. Idk whats thinner, the walls in my apartment or my patience with the neighborhood! Dont move here

We work with a security patrol company, Securitas, who patrol the community multiple times throughout the night and are available to assist residents as well as our CMPD courtesy officer who is also able to assist you when you have concerns within the community after hours. Our residents' comfort is very important to us, so if you should ever find that your comfort is being disturbed by excessive noise from neighbors, please let us know. Best apartment community I have lived in this far! Location is close to shopping centers and highway. Maintenance request are completed in a timely and organized fashion. Office staff are very responsive. Overall, ALL Staff are very nice, professional, and willing to help! Would highly recommend!

I would highly consider living somewhere else. The apartment itself is my favorite since it’s so spacious. However, that alone will not make me stay. The leasing office barely picks up the phone and doesn’t take complaints seriously. Break in’s happen often and security/leasing office do nothing about it. I will be ready when my lease ends so I can move somewhere else.

I have truly been blessed by moving here. I have to say because I wanted better health mentally and physically I take full advantage of the amenities. Been here for five years and I love it. Nice community easy commute your near everything the apartment is a big the landscape is stayed on top of I just don’t like the idea of paying $25 to take out trash when I can take out my all trash. I will truly recommend this complex to anyone the the rent is reasonable . The amenities are great management is great maintenance is great

Apartments are nice and spacious. I enjoy living at my apartment however neighbors constantly have excessive noise even after talking to them themselves and the leasing office about it. There are constant car and apartment break ins and doesn’t seem like anything is being done about it. Claims there is on site security but have never once seen them patrol.

The specials will reel you in than the rent will sky rocket after your 1st year. I do like the activities they have for residents. The leasing office is randomly closed a lot throughout the months which makes it hard to reach management. I love the 2bd rm living room space!

The resident representatives, Talia, Monica, & Kelci gave quintessential residential service to help when any issue that I had. The apartment was superlative in space, appliances, & no bugs. What can I say.. LaDonna is a gem, her people skills are excellent and she alway go above and beyond for the residents.If you are ever thinking about looking for an apartment look no further. Belgate is an excellent place to live. The apartments are fantastic and the maintenance team are awesome. Any problem in your apartment, maintenance is there in less than 24hrs. Daniel and his team are awesome.

Dont move to Cortland Belgate. The noise levels are ridiculous and the neighbors are horrible and the property is dirty. Definitely not renewing my lease and dont recommend nobody to move to Cortland, you will be disgusted and disappointed

I have been a resident here for almost 2 years. I love the apartment. We had a groundskeeper who quit over 7 months ago and my building havent been cleaned since. At this point I am very unhappy with why management cant get and keep someone to keep this building clean.

Awesome, Safe, Clean, Care about Residents
Cortland at Belgate is a great place to live. The Management staff work very hard to keep the residents happy, satisfied and address all concerns. The Maintenance staff are quick to address any issue, help residents out and keep the property very clean and enjoyable. We have been here three years and there has never been an issue with safely. During inclement weather or world events, Management teams always check in on their residents to ensure their needs are met. They have great apartments with washer and dryers and intrusion alarms, dog park, gym facility with work out programs such as yoga along with trainers at certain times. You know, the Manager Ms. Joan, Ms. Jessica & their teams along with the head Maintenance Mr. Jay, they really care about you and greet you personally everyday with a big smile. They work really hard at making sure residents abide by the rules and really put the hammer down when some do not. We are in a handicapped unit and they really check in on us. They check in on everyone really and it’s nice to live somewhere you can call a safe home. We thank them so much. If they ever leave, entire team, WE LEAVING TOO!! Thank you Cortland at Belgate for your continued support to your residents. Stay safe

When moving into this property it was very clean and nice. Within the last year the property has gone down tremendously. The upkeep of the property at this time is horrible. When making complaints, nothing seems to get done.
