My girlfriend and I moved in a couple of weeks ago and we couldn’t have found a better first apartment to lease. Clean and accommodating the moment we toured and walked in. Our apartment looks practically brand new and I can tell they’ve put a lot of work into remodeling and repairs most places would neglect. Big shoutout to Claudia Garcia for being so helpful and kind during this process, moving is no easy task and she was there every step of the way so make this easier on us. No regrets!

the apartment it’s self is your landlord special. I can’t say it’s the worst apt I’ve lived in, but not the best. My apartment was not clean at all when I moved in, there was literal hair from someone shaving everywhere, and the counters were stained, floors were scratched, and the carpet was stained as well. Even though I reported it, I was still charged when I moved out. First they do allocated billing and charged me way too much for a single person living alone and not to mention barely ever home. My garbage disposal was clogged with mold that I had to fix because maintenance took forever to complete a request, or would only half fix till you called again. They refuse to turn on the AC even when my apartment was 80°. The gates only worked half the time I lived there as well so if you were thinking it was extra security it’s not all that great, even go let people in you would have to walk all the way down just to open the gate cause it never worked when they called. The leasing office would ignore your messages no matter how many times you called. Thru had a resident portal to contact them, but no one ever checked it. The front office ladies were rude, or didn’t even know how the apartment functioned. The laundry room was awful, out of like 10 machines only 2 ever worked half the time, and people would take hours to move their laundry so other people could not use it. The machines would catch on fire, or start smoking or leaking and it would take weeks before they were fixed. Fights would break out in the middle of the parking lot and people couldn’t drive around them. I’ve seen multiple cars get keyed while living here as well. You have to get parking passes for all visitors which is fair, but they only had it available in the actual lease office, so if you had someone come over after hours you’re out of luck, and hope they don’t get towed. The other smaller piece if it changes anyone’s mind- is that their stair cases are so small and narrow that you can’t fit normal sized furniture, it all has to be smaller in order to move in. If you’re looking for an apartment that’s cheap, and have to deal with no access to laundry for weeks unless you go to an offsite facility then it might be for you. But I suggest looking anywhere else.

I moved here in three yrs ago during the Covid pandemic. When I moved I met a very nice team of management. The lady who I spoke with and dealt with she was overly super nice and seemed caring. Answered every question I asked her and the maintenance was very nice it was I believe when Paul was here. Now it’s 2023 copperwood has went down alot even in management. It’s more about throwing you out rather than working with their residents as they use to. I understand landlords need their money I’m almost pretty sure copperwood owners are already pretty wealthy or they wouldn’t of worked with their residents from the start. Idk, what happened but it’s definitely changed as I use to be very happy and pleased to learn that I was in a community where I was cared about and respected. Now I’m just the number on my unit and keep it moving. Where when you came home you were glad to be welcomed and loved coming home. Now I can’t wait to remove myself from copperwood. Now, I suggest take a deep look into the atmosphere of the place and all because nine out ten if the place is kept up you’ll likely encounter a staff of people who care. But if not then you know first hand what kind of people your going to deal with and that’s what I’ve learn being here as long as I have… if the property goes down and looks trashy then you know how the staff will be once you reside here. But it took several years before I could say this but at least I learned the truth??

Genuinely counting down the days until my lease ends…this place is barely liveable. The maintenance team treats me like I am an idiot, to the point I would really rather live with broken things than contact them. The leasing staff does ZERO communication, I have had my water just turned off without any notice. I had to call and ask what was going on for any information. Only after i suggested maybe they should post a notice to let people know did any communication go out. My patio floods and they didn’t even believe me and have no plans of fixing this even though I called many many times. We are forced to pay amenity fees for no amenities. They have one pool open and have told us the other one would “open this weekend”…the first of June. Still not open. But the fees sure are there. Including fees for their property tax as well as community electricity and water as well as your neighbors. The laundry room is gross and floods when it rains too. The gate is constantly broken then fixed then broken then fixed with again, zero communication. They are money grabbers with the laundry facilities, fobs, and rent. There are tons of extra fees that you are not warned about. I feel genuinely tricked into moving into the complex as the show apartment was 10x nicer than the actual apartment I received. The kitchen is tiny and barely useable. The police constantly are around and the crime rate is high. Definitely not suitable to single females and family’s with children. I wish I could leave and never look back. I am writing this review to try and make sure no one makes the mistake I do. DO NOT MOVE HERE. You will be disappointed and stuck in a lease with everything overpriced to be treated awfully.

I love my new apartment! I love the space and the layout and I love my new patio! The complex staff have been super helpful with the move in process and I know they’ll help me if I have any further questions! I was a little worried coming in to this community because all of the reviews i seen, but i took a chance and i am glad that i listen to my gut. The leasing staff has been nothing but nice and professional throughout the move in. The homes is wonderful very spacious for a 1 bedroom. I am in love with the patio.

Affordable, and spacious living at Copperwood apartments. Numerous amenities associated with the complex. Location involves close proximity to numeous grocery stores, fitness centers, restaurants, RTD stop, and more. Units and complex grounds could use a little help in keeping cleaner and in better overall condition.

Nice looking apartments. They sell apartments without heating or working plumbing. But they will fix it within 2-3 weeks after you sign! Not to mention they added $1,400 to my lease the day I came to sign while promising me the place they wanted to sell me was a great choice. Like I said, great place but I would 100% wait before I sign here.

Do not move in here. If you have any issue brought onto you by another unit/resident, it will most likely not be resolved quickly and you will be stuck with the issue with no assistance or support. If the apartment is "doing everything they can" you will not be compensated or assisted with any rent or expenses you miss out on due to this issue that is completed caused by someone else. I do not recommend Copperwood nor any Greystar communities.

Copperwood made it incredibly easy for me to move in with my fiancé. The leasing team made it a very fast and easy move in. We got approved after 4 days prior our application and moved in 5 days after our approval date. It was a smooth and easy process for such a lovely apartment and I would definitely recommend these apartments.

The pros are that this property is close to shopping, restaurants, movies, lake Arbor, parks and trails. The cons are there are a lot of stairs, even to get the onsite laundry facilities. The laundry rooms are consistently dirty, machines are regularly out of service or in use. Some people with pets don't pick up their poo so if your apartment is in a grassy area, that smell is in the air. The complex is older, they've done some updates but the quality of work is not that great. It's just ok.

We've lived here for over 3 years now and this will be the final lease we sign with them. Our A/C has been broken for over 5 weeks now without a single visit from maintenance. We have notified them 3 times via writing and 2 times via phone. 50% of the burners do not work on our stove now for over 2 months and we've notified them an equal amount of times to have them repaired as well. Since January of this year our monthly rent amount has been incorrect due to double charges for utilities, erroneous renter's insurance, and deposit waiver fees. Every month we have to look over our bill that contains no fewer than 12 itemized charges on it for any errors made by the leasing office. It's like reading a phone bill to be honest. Please don't move here, you will most assuredly regret it.

When my husband and I were looking for an apartment that was a gated community we found Copperwood Apartments. We were greeted by Michelle she was the sweetest and very professional by knowing our experience at our last apartment she really knew what we wanted. Walking around the community we see 3 amazing pools and a nice dog park and a play ground for the children. Living here now it has been the best experienceTeresa and Cynthia have been very helpful about rent, knowing the Pandemic we went through its been really rough they give you options so that your helped. I appreciate the ladies in the office and the maintenance. They really made my family happy! Thank you!!!

The amenities at Copperwood are great! Nice gym and pool There! Many units are renovated and have new cabinets and appliances. There is a lot of potential here, but management needs to reinvest more. It would be nice to have a perimeter fence as gang activity throughout the greater denver area and any other non resident can easily access the property.

Copperwood apartments are clean on the interior and are in a great location. The leasing team is incredible friendly and helpful. They made the moving process easy and clearly communicated what they needed to help me move in on time. They have taken measures to prevent theft on the property although they are not foolproof. The exterior of the buildings and grounds could use more upkeep, but the interior of the apartments is well-maintained and clean upon move in. The exterior flaws are only aesthetic and has no bearing on the maintenance of the building.

I have lived here 5 years. This place is not a well maintained place. They do not care about the tenants. The pool was opened without furniture.and was not maintained. Within 4days you could not see the bottom. And they let people swim anyway when we complained, they just closed it and said they'd open again the 19th. Ac always needs reset when they switch from heat to cool. It's been 100 hot every day and I put a work order in over a week ago. I called today and was told I'm on a list being worked through. I have seen no one on the roofs restting anyone's ac. They want your money but don't keep any maintenence going. Or laundry room has had broken equipment for over a year. Told we are getting new ones but it has been a year. Don't come here it's a mistake.

First of all, the staff lacks any respect for the residents and will talk back to you if you bring up any complaints. The maintenance team is the worst, they don’t know how to actually fix anything. My sink was clogging and backing up every couple days and I told them, only to have somebody from the maintenance team look at my sink do nothing and leave. The AC unit has been broken since I moved in and they refuse to come look at it. There is a clear lack of communication between the staff. They are just here to get a pay check and go home. If you expect anything but a room to put a bed into then look elsewhere. It’s pathetic.

These apartments are way over priced for what you get. My oven didnt work and the maintenance team never came out to fix it. The laundry facilities are disgusting and the washers and dryers do not work so you have to pay double for one load. My dishwasher also didnt work and rusted anything metal. My car was hit in the parking lot, several other cars have been damaged. The lights in the bedroom burned out, i replaced the bulbs and it still doesnt work, after submitting maintenance requests for the whole year i lived here no one ever followed up until a week before i move. One maintenance guy came out then the leasing office said they have not record of this. Leasing office staff are rude. The only good thing about these apartments is the design in side the apartments, backsplash, wall color, bathroom, ect.

I have so far had a good experience here the staff is nice/very friendly. They fix things in timely fashion at first I was a bit skeptical being told this is a high gang area. But if so I haven't yet had no problems, and my safety is a must. I'm sure if it were I would hope it wouldn't be tolerated. Also, would be super nice to be more of an affordable place on the units in the future. Because its a nice area close to shops and schools, restaurants. :)

I like living here even though we had some minor issues with noisy neighbors but the issue was fixed. That is also a part of living in apartments but overall I like living here.

I have had a wonderful experience so far. Just a minor issue with laundry facility and the machine to reload card is down sometimes. Other than that, I have had a wonderful experience. The management and maintenance have been very pleasant so far. I would recommend to others!!

We moved in and it is a gated community. The gate is broken half of the time. But they will only give you one fob to get through the gate. If you want an extra fob for the other persons who are on the lease, they will charge you 75 dollars. If the dishwasher breaks, they will not give you a date or time that they are fixing it. But if you miss the time that they set up without telling you, they will charge you 50 dollars to come back and replace the equipment that is in their rental unit. Management is very very difficult to deal with and do not care that they are making it very difficult for their residents. That doesn't even cover the fact that the bathtub is painted and the paint was peeling when we moved in and the door jamb is cracked and the door blows open from the wind if you do not deadbolt it. That doesn't even cover the fact that several vehicles all over the property have had their tires slashed and windows broken. They say they have security, but this has happened multiple times in the 5 months that we have lived there. Management is very very difficult to deal with and is not interested in having a good relationship with their residents

The staff has made moving into copperwood, during this crazy Covid-19, new-normal, world that were living in now, as easy and hands free as possible. Once we moved into our place it was very well kept up with, clean, and easy to get right into. I was also out of town when my roommate started to move in and he was happy with his experience as well.
