The neighborhood is best known for being home to Santa Cruz Riverwalk Park, a 2.5-mile natural area with hiking and biking trails, exercise equipment, and views of the San Lorenzo River. Santa Cruz Riverwalk Park also encompasses several smaller neighborhood parks like San Lorenzo Park, where many food and drink festivals are held. Riverwalk houses many hotels, restaurants, government offices, medical offices, and a few retail shops. Residents also have access to an abundance of amenities in Downtown Santa Cruz and Seabright. Riverwalk is less than 10 minutes away from several beaches including Cowell Beach, Seabright State Beach, and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk as well. Don't return deposits
I applied for an apartment here and despite my application getting rejected within just a couple hours, the $200 hold deposit I was required to pay was never returned to me. Their terms stipulate that I had a full two days to get my deposit back, and I called and emailed their office several times. Do not get fleeced by their management!
