Moved in a month ago so far me and my daughters LOVE it Marissa communicated with me every step of the way and made the move in easy.
Everything is great other than the communication of the office.
I would recommend to my family and friends to live here because the apartment is spacious and has everything that I need. Having a washer and dryer hookup and a garbage disposal make it very convenient and I love having a fireplace. Location is great for shopping. The people are friendly.
I have called this place my Home for 5 years. From the extremely helpful staff,the safe, quiet, and clean property,to the peace I found in my home on property, I will always have a special place in my heart for pine knoll. It has far exceeded every desire I could have for an apartment Community and home

I really like the staff here. And it's nice and quiet. When things break, they get fixed in a timely manner. We get lots of information and know when the big guys are coming or the Internet guys, and we know when to do the fire extinguisher inspections
I love where I live. It's quiet and the staff are nice.

It is close to lot of places which is good,but I Don't think they have enough maintenance personnel That can cause delays for service
I want to recommend that the laundry area of 200 Village Drive needs attention. Four out of six of the washing machines don't work. Two of the four dryers are not working. This availability is very important during this time of Covid when we don't have our own personal washers and dryers. The dismantled swimming pool has been sitting there with dirty water for two seasons. All of these maintenance issues reflect badly on trying to attract new customers. The popcorn ceiling in my apartment has many places where it has cracked and is turning loose. I hope maintenance will be a higher priority over the next few months before I think about renewing my lease. I have lived here off and on for thirteen years in two different apartments and maintenance has always been a very positive reason for renewing.
Well I am big workout person and I wish there was more equipment in there. It was a reason I wanted to move here and after going in there is was a big disspointment

Love City Pines! Sometimes we can see deer from our balcony. Its very peaceful and our neighbors are great. Office staff and maintenance are very attentive. The pool and fitness center are great.
Do Not Rent at Pine Knoll The property manager is rude. The maintenance team is also rude . The property is rundown has not been upgraded and nothing is ever fixed. The tub peels, because of the type of water system they have there may be warm water and there may not be the roof leaks the ac/heating units are outdated
I continue to have problems with major maintenance issues: for example poorly fitting front door, hole in ceiling of bathroom, occasional "knocking" sound with heating/AC.

These are great apartment homes & the up keep on them is great. The office staff & the workers fixing everything are also great!
The maintenance crew were incredibly professional and courteous. Despite being short handed, they weren't ever frustrated, and were nothing short of friendly while helping me with my issue.
I would recommend it because of the friendly staff.
For the most part, the apartment community, the office support, the maintenance are all Very good.
Pros: -Good location (except traffic has picked up steadily on Village Dr) -Well.......I think that is it. Cons: -Rent has increased and makes it no longer worth it. -Laundry rooms are frequently closed and washers/dryers are in HORRIBLE condition. -No one picks up after their dog, watch your step! -Gym has been closed all year due to COVID but I think it has effectively/permanently been turned it into a storage room. -Mailboxes and parcel lockers are often hard to open, I have helped neighbors get packages on more than one occasion. -Electric bills are HIGH. Very poor insulation. A word of advice, if you don't like the weather on one side of your apartment, move to the other! -Pools were closed most of the summer. -There are holes all over the property. My dog's leg fell in one once. I thought the ground was eating my dog. I don't know why they are there. -If your apartment has roaches when you get here, get Advion. The stuff works great.
Outside area/lawn is always maintained.
Location is always important and safety. These are the two main reasons I really love these apartments.

My problem was attended to in a very professional manner and in a quick amount of time. I was kept in contact with the office to facilitate such hasty service at all times, and was asked before any decision was made (in this case, I was consulted before maintenance moved my desk to replace my refrigerator). I was quite thrilled to receive such timely service and communication.

Knowing that Pine Knoll has maintenance people like Manny that are friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable about solutions to issues make living here quite comforting, especially if something were to occur that required a maintenance call.
I've lived here for 13 years and like the property and it's new staff.
I enjoy the peace that is provided here, we do not have people hanging out in the hallways or parking lots and no loud music or disruptive neighbors.
Nothing beats the beauty and comfort of Pine Knoll. The staff (Brandi, Tiffany and Manny to name a few) are great people who are always professional and personal in their jobs. It makes it feel more like family than staff.
It seems it has gone downhill regarding the type of people moving in.We had health concerns for our 2 yr. old. The downstairs apartment when using their chimney the smoke smell will come into our apartment through our chimney. When nearby apartments are remodelling the toxic smells came in to our apartment. Also, tobacco smoke.
Tiffany is great at her job and very good at explaining and being patient with you.
I would because things are bb taken care of in a very fast time .sometime I put a ticket in while at work and it is done by the time I get home.
Any issues I have here is taken cared in a timely manner.
Its a fairly pleasant place to reside. My two biggest issues are the dog poop, which i get is hard to control from a housing property standpoint, and the limited lighting. Not having light in the bedroom or the center of the living room area sucks.

It isn't an apartment, it is a lifestyle and a community!
The property manager is unapproachable. Will only have anything to do with you to get you in the apartments or to renew. The maintenance manager is rude and hateful. The buildings are roach infested. I cannot wait to get the HECK out of here.
