Cherry Tree

Cherry Tree Apartments is coming together pretty well. They just planted new vibrant flowers and they just finished the BBQ area. Some tenants have their own boxed garden to plants fruits and veggies. Always greeted with a smile.

Cherry Tree is a great place to live if you're like me and and you're a regular working person that needs rent to be realistic, wants to feel safe, needs to be close to buses and feels good about coming home. My apartment is comfy, I have not had many things go wrong but the people here repair or check on it same or next day! This is a small place and I like that. Neighbors are friendly, office manager is great and people always rate places when they're cranky but I appreciate and recommend living here if they have vacancy! :)

I moved in here last year and I just love it. The manager is so on top of things and is a joy to talk to. When I have something in my apartment to be repaired, all I have to do is Call Deborah and she sends the maintenance man over same day or she calls me to me when it will be repaired. I get to plant my flowers too. Thank you Deborah for making my living here at Cherry Tree Apartments wonderful. Sue

I have come from another apartment complex here in Lakewood and so far have been so pleased with the subtle differences here from my last apartment. I find the staff to be friendlier and the care of the property is very very clean which makes a big difference to me. I like coming home to a nice quiet place and this has suited me very well.

Deb has been super welcoming from the first day of my move in guiding me through every step of the application process. I felt right at home and the lower cost compared to everywhere else in town helps. I have all the necessary markets and restaurants around me and there's always available parking spaces. The I-5 is 1-2 minutes out and the main street, South Tacoma Way, is right around the corner so it's super easy to explain to my guests the direction to my house! Awesome staff, pretty good price for the sq ft of the apartment, and great location!

Everyone should think before writing a review, how mad are you at the management verses why did you choose to move into the apartment complex in the first place. Readers don't always believe what you read. Some people are just out to hurt others and have no curtsy how it effects anther. I care were I live and want others to know that it's not all about the bad you may read. Come see for yourself. We moved in at the end of July of this year and overall we are happy at this point. Management has been professional with us. Work requests have been a little behind but understandable with one maintenance person, vacant units and having a personal life to deal with. Overall most of our repair requests have been done. Some residents don't always understand the RCW laws to when maintenance request have to be done (know your laws before complaining). I have not seen any bugs in my apartment and I am a very clean person (bugs are not necessary a managers responsibility if you cause them). Parking has been good overall. Apartment complexes are never built with a great thought for parking. I see management tagging vehicles when necessary so i feel parking is being address properly. Cherry Tree at this point seems to be a very quiet place, clean area(dumpster area gets messing but its an open area so illegal dumping happens), well lit at night and overall comfortable. It's apartment living nothing will ever be perfect. Current Renter

For the price it’s not wroth it! The property Mamager is RUDE very unprofessional! Takes three months for Maintenance to complete a work order you submitted. Place is packed with bugs and not to mention you will never find parking to park your car even with a parking permit. Rent is always increasing! There is no washer or dryer in the u it’s nor assigned parking or dishwasher. The bedrooms are very small as well as kitchen and closet space. Before, moving in speak the elderly people there on SSI they will tell you too not to lease here.
