Prompt maintenance response Leo responded quickly to.maintanance request. He was not able to.make the repair and immediately arranged for an.outside source to come in. The isuue was resolved promptly. Very thankful for the great maintenance service wr have always received here at Chelsea Apartments.

My experience at Chelsea has been overwhelmingly negative due to issues with management and the condition of the unit upon move-in. Some of the major issues include: - Gas stove was clogged with grease and would not light, when GRU came to test it. - Fridge was disgusting, with dried blood from raw meat on every shelf. - AC air filter was clogged with dust & dirt - seemingly unchanged for years - causing the evaporator coils to freeze and drip water. - Dishwasher wouldn’t drain because it was filled with roaches and grime. - Laundry machine would drain immediately after filling, making it unusable. - Dryer didn’t dry clothes even after three full cycles. - Floors were filthy they turned our feet black. - Cobwebs with live spiders and dead roaches in every corner, including inside the kitchen cabinets. - Front door seal was nearly nonexistent, allowing bugs to freely walk in and AC to waft outside. - Locked out of the storage closet, and when finally opened, it was full of the previous tenant’s belongings. That's right, that's every major appliance... plus more. Reaching management was nearly impossible: no one in office during posted open hours, calls went unanswered, voicemails were ignored, and multiple emails sent with no reply, and no access to enter maintenance requests in the resident portal. When I was finally able to reach Karla, I was met with excuses and "apologies." When I requested a concession, it was returned with an offer 1/3 of what we asked for and I wasn't allowed to speak with the owner (who is the sole decision maker) about it further because "I would just write a negative review anyways." I have been moved in for almost a month and I am still fighting to get some of these issues addressed. It is clear that units are not properly cleaned, inspected, or maintained - and management's lack of responsiveness make it worse. I cannot recommend Chelsea Apartments and I would strongly advise looking elsewhere (and probably for good measure, beware of their sister complexes).
Dryer Maintenance came out but the dryer still is not drying on the first cycle.

I love the chelsea community The community is family friendly kids can play safe outdoor. All the accommodations are available nice and well kept. It’s an alll around awesome place for a family.??

LaDonna in the office has been great. Her attention to detail has been helpful during move in. The maintenance team I've encountered so far have been pleasant. The process to get applied and move in was smooth. I'm happy with my unit and appreciate everyone here making it an easy process. They have monthly events scheduled in the community. The children's playground looks better than some parks. My unit was clean when I moved in and everything was in working order. Overall I'm happy with my choice to live here.

Chelsea Apartments has been a great home for us the past 3 years. Newly renovated interior and exterior apartments, dog park with waste stations throughout the complex, always clean pool and gym, and a friendly on site staff. Just minutes away from downtown, UF campus, and the Gainesville airport. We will miss getting those text messages telling us there are fresh doughnuts and coffee in the front office!

The management and maintenance team are great people. Issues are resolved quickly and Ms. Liz makes a great effort to offer great service to residents. The interior of the apartments is great as it was newly renovated and the exterior is being renovated now. Just moved out after living there for two years because we bought a house but it was a great experience while there. Especially now with the new renovations and additions like the gym which is nicely sized and always clean.

These people are genuine we have police who live here on premises. The apartment s are clean n maintained.Ive been here over year and pleased with chelsea its affordable and safe n pet friendly we now have a fitness room.its great!

I just moved in to Chelsea Apartments about 3-4 months ago and I love the complex. The renovated apartments look great, especially the kitchens!! The complex also just installed dog stations! I will definitely be renewing my lease next May.
