The tenants are pleasant and present some appreciated diversity of backgrounds. The older units are charming, but lack adequate heat and AC. The open, green areas have been sacrificed to overdevelopment. The rules for the pool use need to be stricter re babies pooping, and tenants fail to observe the speed limit.

Chase Knolls is a quiet complex with unique residences. There are modern units mixed with adorable MCM apartments and bungalows. The grounds are beautiful and lush, great for an afternoon stroll. With a washer & dryer in every unit, a refreshing pool and a large gym what more could you ask for?!

This place is special! It’s charming and safe and beautiful! Office staff really cares if you have a concern, maintenance is timely and the grounds are clean and beautiful. Great parking structure, pool area does need updated furniture but overall a great experience! Highly recommend living here!

My friends say I live at a resort. With all the amenities and all. The staff is like family to me. Always nice, friendly and helpful. I feel very safe as my job has crazy hours in which I come and go. I would highly recommend Chase Knolls to everyone .

I’m an ex tenant. This place is infested with RATS. Dozens of tenants have reported issues with Health Dept and have enlisted legal assistance. Management has been apathetic and couldn’t care less. I moved because of this issues and overall awful management. Newer. Though apartments look cute, they have many misses. Newer apartments as well, they were constructed quick and cheaply. They are selling the property, given up on major repairs and care only about cosmetic appearances. There are many many videos online detailing this poophole.

In a word, TERRIBLE. GM has no contact w/anyone, poor communication. The people in the front office are very good but... P/R only goes so far. Maintenance has real issues. One in particular is unfriendly, confrontational, belligerent and dismissive of any issues and I doubt has ANY real maintenance experience besides changing a simple door latch. In general, since we have been here and will only be for a short time. Thoroughly unsatisfied.

Chase knolls is my first apartment living in my 67 years . It’s a lovely community. Walking distance to a strip mall that has everything you need . I am comfortable here and have recommended the complex to friends and family .

It was a horrifying experience. This place is totally worn and old...really, really old. I saw an "upgraded" unit which was over $1850, and it was horrible. I can't imagine what a "classic" aka "non-upgrade" unit looks like. It is currently under construction....don't waste your time here.
Let the Renter Beware! Chase Knolls WAS the best place in Sherman Oaks until new owners decided to go ahead and do major construction. It has ruined many of our green spaces, destroyed our covered parking, storage and laundry rooms and they make you sign a "construction addendum" so you won't sue or ask for rent reductions. Do not move here, the work has only just begun and looks like it is only going to get worse. If you do have to move because you have a pet, make sure they give you the lowest rent possible, since those of us paying top dollar were duped into thinking the construction was not going to be this bad.
WARNING!! Years of construction starting. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you love the sound of jackhammers, chainsaws, demolition and buildings being built. All those lovely trees they reference on the Chase Knolls website, they are cutting down close to 150 of them! Covered parking, storage and laundry facilities are being removed. They are going to build 6 NEW BUILDINGS on our historically designed property. On top of that, they will be displacing each of the residents from 8am-6pm Monday through Friday, for several weeks while they repipe and install new plumbing. Then they will try to raise our rent an additional 10% even though we are rent controlled. They have not disclosed the construction project to the many new people that have moved in recently. I love this place but I wouldn't move here if you paid me now. If you need quiet enjoyment of your home or have pets that are sensitive to horrible noise, DO NOT MOVE HERE! Thank you.
I live in a beautiful park like complex, the largest oaks in the valley. Very pet friendly. Everyone knows pets owners are the happiest. Wooden floors throughout. I lived here 6 happy years. Its home at its best. Any problem is fixed right away. This is the most charming place I have ever lived at. Thanks Chase Knolls for such a lovely home.
