Everything here for the most part has been absolutely pleasant; some of the neighbors are the only hit or miss in my opinion. But overall I have not had many things I can’t complain about much I enjoy it here.

Apartments are decent. Laundry room could be updated. There should also be secured laundry room doors or security at night for the resident's safety.

The apartment itself is ok the staff not so great maintenance is slow they try fixing the old equipment in your apartment instead of replacing it but other then the apartment is in good condition staff is friendly and work with you on rent

Had a few problems with Heat, Cooling, and refrigerator. All were promptly addressed, even replaced the fridge! Entirely satisfied with maintenance and very nice place/community. Nearby schools are no issue, nice and quiet.

Charlesmont areas has very kind people in the community. Schools in the area is fantastic. There a good amount of police present around here.

My experience have been amazing it’s a great community and staff my favorite is the amenities that’s included. Also the areas for the kids is amazing especially when I have my niece and nephews I have somewhere for them to enjoy themselves

Very pleased with my apartment. The location is quiet and very close and convenient to get to grocery stores, and many other businesses. Very reasonably priced.

I love how quiet it is here,but the rent is sky high.Maintance usually responds pretty quick,The people in the leasing office are very helpful and very nice.

Staff and maintenance not so good. Can’t enjoy all my amenities been here a month. Was big issue Prior to bringing my furniture in and they don’t have fix to issue. It’s been a crappy few weeks pray within time I won’t have to break my lease nor get charged for all the issues that were messed up prior to my move in feel like they just threw this place together to gain a tenant without Thorough cleaning carpeting extermination etc

Leasing manager Chapman was combative, miscommunicative, and with low conflict resolution skills. I don't think he realizes that his way of handling residents makes us feel dismissed, attacked, and inconvenienced. Initially I had a complaint over a new corporate policy. This new policy requires 2 trips to the leasing office to resolve an issue, when previously only 1 trip was needed. This puts a strain on my tight shedule. Chapman refused to direct me to proper channels for contacting corporate about their policy multiple times. A leasing manager's task in an escalating situation is to diffuse. Not combat.

Maintenance should be better at recognizing the problem first time around instead of coming back multiple times. I only been here two months so not too much experience but so far the only issue is maintenance so far.

The pool hours were a disappointment this season. I didn’t make it not once to the pool. But the property is pretty well kept. And it’s quiet. Maintenance needs a little work but it’s a nice property overall.

So far it’s really great nice ac, a nice bathroom great spacing and more. So far I have been really happy here honestly. Nice carpet, nice neighborhood and the maintenance was fantastic they came quickly and handled my small issue immediately. My name is Mustafa. I moved into Charlesmont Apartment Homes on July 18, 2024, with my service dog. I love the complex. The leasing office staff are friendly and always on point, making you feel genuinely welcomed. The maintenance team is equally impressive, handling repairs quickly and professionally. The community is compassionate and quiet, even with kids playing outside. With great amenities like a pool, gym, dog park, and internet, this place is a winner. People above you walk around all night! The flooring sucks! Rude staff! Other than that not too bad I guess. They charge you for everything! One good thing can say is they do have a nice pool!

The community so far seems very quiet and nice. I haven’t noticed any noise but this is currently my second day. Previously before moving here I’ve heard that this community was nice. Just like anywhere you move just be sure to always be polite and positive

Going into my 2nd year is very good and I feel welcome from the staff and community. So that's very important and good. Any issues is not too small or large. As stated the communication in person is very important in feeling connected.

You have a great crew of people.That cleans the property .The office people are very helpful. There's one bad thing is the maintenance of the pool area. We are having a lot of ducks poop around not being clean up.

The apartment itself is ok the staff not so great maintenance is slow they try fixing the old equipment in your apartment instead of replacing it

We pay a monthly fee of $65 for amentities each month and for what? I primarily have stayed at this location for the summers to use the pool. The pool is completely filthy, only open 4 days after public school lets out and to top it all off, they have limited tables that have umbrellas, and all those umbrellas are broken. They have been since last summer. Why am I paying an increased amentity fee for broken equipment. And where are the firepits that were advertised as well? This place has roaches, mice, and theres nothing that extermination can do to right the problem.

Loud, always smells like weed. Also a police presence and not in a good way. Over charge for amenities. Ex. I pay an amenity fee all year that includes the pool. Now I understand it’s obviously not open until may and then full when school lets out. But even full time is only Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Never in my life would I imagined living in an apartment complex that has a pool and still needing to join a separate pool.

We have been residence now for two years. Nice community. What we like the most is that it is in the middle of pretty much everything. Within a five minute drive, you can be at a Walmart, a grocery store, fast food, restaurants, you name it! Household, it’s walking distance for the kids school, And just a short drive for work. Maintenance is always quick to respond! They have a nice pool and a gym on the property. They have an Amazon hub station, Where your deliveries can be dropped off into a locked box we’re only you have the code to ensure safe delivery. The apartment complex is right next to a 7-Eleven. For us it’s only a two minute walk. The ladies in the Leasing Office are polite and respectful. Oh, and although we do not have a pet, they are pet friendly, and even have a dog park!

BUGS EVERYWHERE. I understand it’s Dundalk and there’s plenty of water bugs/fleas, but the amount of spiders, water bugs get IN the apartment. Fleas are so bad I wake up with bites, and this is only our 3rd day in the apartment. We have a newly renovated apartment, but it’s put together so half-done. Carpet peels up along baseboards, mouse holes in walls, and they never replaced the carpet before we moved in. I hope we don’t have anymore problems here, because it’s a VERY nice neighborhood. Being from Dundalk I just expected more from RENEW. Not sure what the point of buying the property was if you aren’t going to take care of bugs/renovations.
