I have lived in my one bedroom for over a year and it is the largest one bedroom I have ever lived in. The windows and open floorplan allow for so much light! The area is so cute and has a lot of activity and it is easy to feel comfortable.

I have loved living here so far! The maintenance staff is very helpful and friendly. I feel safe living here and the location is perfect. Not too far from downtown or the beach! The gym is not the most up-to-date but the pool in the summer is great. There are so many events to go to with food trucks and a chance to meet other residents. I would definitely recommend living here.

We are 2 months into our 2nd year of living here at Central Square and we love it. We chose the apartment coming from out of state so we didn't even understand how great the location was until we lived here a while, but it's perfect for living in Mt Pleasant - minutes off 526, 10 mins to Sullivans and 15 to IOP, and a choice of multiple grocery stores (Publix, Trader Joes, Aldi, Walmart, Target) within a 15 minutes drive in any direction. It's just tucked off the road enough to enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood but still convenient to stores, gas, the town center, etc. Great sidewalks all around and access to a walking trail on the Watermark lake (all of which have been quarantine lifesavers!). Friendly neighbors and apartment staff. We haven't had to call maintenance at all in our full year of living here; everything in our apartment works well. Food trucks come regularly and the community center amenities are very nice. Only con is that if you miss the window for valet trash service the only dumpster is at one far end of the complex, but it's not really been an issue. Our lease renewal process also felt very smooth! Definitely recommend living here.

This is a great place to live. You can't beat the location and the community has a comfortable, neighborhood feel. I feel very safe here as a female living alone, which is very important to me. There are lots of young families and it is super dog friendly. I really love the pool and grill area. The staff is amazing, especially Claire and Demi. Maintenance is always around and very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere quiet and laid back. I love it.

I love Central Square. Despite the turnover of staff, the community building, quality of facilities, responsiveness, amenities is is consistently EXCELLENT.
Nice apartments with central pool and common area. Small gym. Dog poo is held at bay by poo prints. Trash service is irregular and there is only one trash site at the far end of the community. Rent is increased annual at an about 5% rate, Parking is over priced.
Lovely unit, convenient location. Very quiet and safe. Staff is very friendly and prompt.

Such a beautiful community and area. Lots of young people but not a lot of young families which makes for quiet days at the pool. Staff is very nice and maintenance is super quick if you ever have an issue. The monthly events are also pretty great.
Since my first visit into the leasing office, I was treated with professionalism and respect. That isnt something I experienced at a couple of other properties. Everything so far has been great and made my move-in quite easy.

We love the staff here, they are always friendly and maintenance have always been over to help within a few hours!
I have only lived here for 1 month so I will review in a year or so but so far this place has been amazing. I relocated here from California and they couldn't have been more helpful; letting me store my boxes in their offices until all of the paperwork went through, showing me around, always asking if I needed any help. I worked specifically with Danielle on my lease and she made the process so simple. Everyone else in the leasing office who I've communicated with has been great as well. The amenities are really nice (I use the pool, gym, and office daily) and the neighborhood is quiet. Would highly recommend this complex to anyone! Thanks everyone in Central Square Apartments for making living here so nice!

Living at Central Square is not worth it! Though advertised and charged as 'luxury' apartments, promised upgrades to bring the place up to par with actual luxury apartments in the area seem to have been retracted. But that's not the worst of it. Management and maintenance do not check their own work. Much of it needs to be repeated, sometimes with great inconvenience to residents; some of it becomes an incredible safety hazard. And the worst aspect of work errors is that no one ever takes responsibility. That is a major problem. And what's most disheartening is that all of the issues around here could be avoided if someone, and I mean anyone at this point, would just take responsibility. As a resident, you will feel completely alone and helpless when you really need the services you pay for. Please take the warning seriously that your hard earned money won't cover what is promised appropriately.
I love living at Central square at Watermark. After moving to Charleston for graduate school and comparing apartments in West Ashley, Charleston and Mount Pleasant, I found this choice to be the best bang for my buck. The apartments are beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. The management staff are friendly and professional and the maintenance team is prompt and performs excellent work. I would recommend Central Square at Watermark to anyone who’s looking for an updated, quiet and community based complex.
