So far I would rate it very high except the 1 elevator has been out of service for the 1st 4 days that I have been here. Also the one wooden door could use a cleaning.

Well it's been almost a year since moving in and it's been seamless and wonderful. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are so serene and beautiful. The apt is everything i could have hoped for.

I’ve lived in several suburban apartment complexes, and CPE is by far the best one. It’s clean and quiet, which is great, but it’s more than that: Property management is top-notch, the maintenance guys are great (on the rare occasion you even need to call them) and we’ve had so many nice neighbors. We moved in with a plan to stay for two years, then we’d buy a house. But we’ve really enjoyed living here and it feels like home (except it’s basically maintenance-free) so we are coming up on 14 years with no plans to move anytime soon.

Renting at Central Park East versus owning a condominium.... No question that living at Central Park East is far greater than owning a condominium somewhere else. The location, community, and high quality living conditions are worth the cost of renting.

It's a nice little community to live in. People are friendly they have fun little events during holidays and even bingo nights. I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else.

Living in Central Park East has generally been a positive experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to the highway, which makes daily life much more convenient. The apartment itself is quite comfortable, with a layout that makes good use of the space and allows for good air circulation and natural light. A recent positive change has been the update to the locker entrance, which has improved access and functionality. However, one area that still needs attention in my opinion is security. Although the neighborhood is peaceful, we have had issues with stolen packages. As a suggestion, installing security cameras would further enhance security and provide greater peace of mind for all residents.

New management took over last year. Painting, carpet, general repairs made to common areas and hallways. They use a better quality of suppliers providing outsourced services like janitorial, landscaping and snow removal. Apartments in decent shape. Clean and painted on move in. Pest free. Quite residents. Slightly expensive but slightly above average quality and amenities.

I've been at CPE for 3m now and just love the place! The leasing office was awesome at helping me understand the contract.The maintenance crew have been so quick to address any issues. The grounds are so beautiful with paths to walk past ponds and trees and enjoy the wildlife. parking is ample and the interior has been updated with granite ss appliances tile baths its perfect!

It is a good swimming pool. The gym is a bit small, but there is a lot of training equipment. Recently, there are not enough parking spaces compared to last year.

It's nice especially in summer time as we can enjoy in swimming pool. Another topic is recently hot water line construction has been completed ,so we can take shower in the morning.
Love the Management and Maintenance teams here! The noise level is pretty bad, however. Stomping and shouting from upstairs. Deliveries at all hours w/ radios at full blast. Disappointed.
I love the staff , Susan and Richard are sooo nice....and the surrounding area is perfect..clean and pet friendly.. stores are less then 10 mins
So far everything is great! The grounds are well kept, apartments are clean, people are friendly, area is quiet, and we are enjoying our time here!
Noise control is amazing!…never have had that in previous apartments! Overall great experience after 9 years of living here. Communication & follow through with leasing office does need improvement though
This is a nice complex to live at. I only suggest that they add security cameras in the parking lot areas. There's been many break ins. And all seem to be the same person.
The leasing manager Richard has been extremely helpful, flexible and efficient. We are very happy with our apartment and the service that we have received.
Acceptable property to live. Maintenance is on top of all request. Quiet property, with no major issues to grip about. Property is located with easy access to get to other places in the area.
The fireplace is great this time of year. Units are very quiet, rarely can hear my neighbors. Community events like bingo are always a great time and a great way to meet neighbors.
Some of my favorite features: indoor parking, elevator, people are friendly, & noise level is minimal/almost non-existent, which is rare for apartment complexes. Also, rent increases are small compared to other places!!
Central Park East apartments are perfect for me. Quiet, very nice neighbors and a beautiful view. I am happy to find this place. Management are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend living here.
It’s a quiet and safe community. Since new management company has taken over, the property has been kept up nicely and they have been making small improvements.

Apartments are in a nice area, with a spacious layout. Neighbors are friendly, and the community is great. However, prices seem a bit high for what's offered: Some apartments have outdated cabinets, countertops, and bathrooms. Common areas like the lobby and hallways appear dirty and old. Additionally, the clubhouse offers basic amenities, but the fitness center is not well-maintained. It could benefit from more equipment, preferably newer ones.

A wonderful change for us. The grounds are so peaceful; and beautiful; I feel as though we are back to nature after being urban for two years. It is a welcome change. Our two-bedroom apartment is more than we expected- modern, beautiful appliances and the dryer really works!!!! So far so great!
Recently renewed my lease for 9th year. My apartment setup is very homey. Love garage parking available. One downside is email responses are sometimes slow & general communication is sometimes frustrating...if email addresses numerous questions or topics, email reply often only address part of email. Additionally, often have to prompt office again to receive follow-ups to questions &/or things office said they would look into and then let you know after.

Awesome place to live. Great location, close to the metra, melas park is a short walk away. Pool is great during the summer and the paths are great for walking the dog

Great apartments. The events are fun and is good to meet the neighbors and socialize. The building is clean and well maintained. Pool and hot tub are a plus during the summer. Gym has a decent size for multiple people to work out at the same time. Staff is always nice and helpful. Great place to live.

Central Park East Apartments has 99% of everything that you're looking for in an apartment community including the community inwhich it resides in a very pristine residential area apart from all the surrounding city. Amenities meet all standards including in apartment washer and dryer, and the maintenance crew has very high ratings because they always do their job. 1% of the negative aspect of the community is that the rent increases every year and sometimes very high. I have been here 10 years though and it is worth the money.

Both the staff and people living here seem nice and respectful. The property is pretty clean and well managed. I feel safe here even at night. I just wish the apartment/complex was a bit more updated but other than that everything has been great!

Since the new property management company has taken over everything has been much better! Grounds are cleaner and more maintained. Lobbies are cleaner.

Good swimming pool!However, very poor cleaning quality when we moved in the room. I don't know who did the final inspection, but especially, the carpet condition was terrible!

Great apartment; clean grounds, great maintenance response. Quiet hallways and very well kept up. Easy access to travel to O'Hare and other highways and to shopping.

Apartment,maintenance and management are excellent. I am very pleased with my apartment from all angles.I only have one observation which I would like to mention and that is the fact that it is extremely difficult to regulate the heat in the middle of winter. Others may not have that problem but I sure did. The apartment is relatively small and a blast of hot air heats the place very quickly then your choice is either put up with it or turn it off.
