After such a great tour of this place my Surprise has turned into Not Surprised. Seemed to be an issue with the online app my information did not come out correctly on the app I called and called and emailed and emailed spoke to Pilar and Gaby several times Pilar told me oh not a problem go ahead and pay and any information that needs to be corrected the manager can correct it I called and called 2 3 4times a day I have yet to hear from a Manager. Well my app was ran with the wrong information not once but twice. Disappointed is to say the least of how I feel. I actually stood by the front door of the office and called I wont throw anyone under the bus I saw the phone lite up they looked at the phone (caller id) and continued working no one was sitting at the desk so they cannot say they were busy. Surprised turned into Not Surprised....

I had a hard time at first getting someone on the phone. I had been calling on and off for over a week. I called again on the 26th and was surprised when I got a live person so I spoke to Pilar she was friendly gave me all the info I needed and invited me to come tour the apartment the same day. So I went and met with Gabby she was awesome she was so nice she had information ready for me after I toured I applied right away. The application process was a little difficult only because my info wouldn't update in the system. Other than that I am excited to become a resident and will post an update on the outcome and update my star rating.

The property manager Alba is a complete breath of fresh air. She was able to assist me with many of concerns with no hesitation! Alba is very energetic and has a glow on her like no other. I will be referring my friends and family to live here!

I had a carpet cleaning today , they did an amazing job , the maintenance team is on hand , the management team always responds quickly and efficiently, I love living here, its very quiet and peaceful too
I love the new staff! Betsy has truly been the best property manager. I have live her for a while and while everything hasn't been perfect. I definitely see a positive change with the new management. I love the new renovations, it's in the heart of Sandy Springs. The community is quite. Spacious Apartments etc.

DISGUSTING! To enter my apartment I have to walk through a swarm of flies because people leave their trash outside at ALL times. Our neighbors have dogs that pee and poop in their balcony and the stench is unbearable. The office has been notified multiple times. They do NOT care. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

Trying to achieve anything with the leasing office is absolute ridiculous. The managers are rude and no help with any situations. They believe they are always right. Attempting to ask for any help is pulling a tooth and a nail. They don’t care about any of their residence. There has been several changes in management and every single one of them are worse than the other. I would recommend looking elsewhere because management could careless about their resident.

Previous management was fantastic, but since the new ones took over in 2018, quality has dropped. From conversations with other tenants and via personal experiences, maintenance issues are not addressed as promptly (or well), we go to the office and tell them about 4 times about our problems before they actually get “solved” as they would like to call it, staff is more difficult to work with, the package system can be difficult. And all this about mandatory "valet" trash that will does not get picked up for days at a time, and causes roaches and other bugs to be all around our building. Not to mention all the stray cats that are all over the complex. Also management can be so rude and disrespectful, don’t seem to actually care why you walked into the office, doesn’t care about your problems. I get everyone has bad days but don’t take it out on just everyone. Work out that attitude before going into work. Try a different complex until management changes.

Previous management was fantastic, but since the new ones took over late 2018, quality has dropped. From conversations with other tenants and via personal experiences, maintenance issues are not addressed as promptly (or well), staff is more difficult to work with, the pool opened up Late this year, the package system can be difficult, etc. Last week, a tenant put a homemade sign in front of the complex for all driving on Roswell Road to see, complaining about rising rents, poorer management, and more bugs (probably due to the mandatory "valet" trash that will does not get picked up for days at a time). Try a different complex until management changes.

We saw the apartment online and felt so great about it that I started the online application. Despite the reviews we saw, we decided to check it out for ourselves. I was on the phone with my husband this morning as he went into to speak with the person in the office. It was disgusting! Her attitude to him was so cold and unfriendly that I asked my husband to leave. Her demeanor was mean and angry. This woman was nasty in her responses as if she seemed upset that he was even there!! I’m hoping that her demeanor has nothing to do with the fact that my husband man is a handsome, God fearing, black man who is a pastor. How dare her speak to him that way! We’ve visited several apartments in this area and non has been this cold and nasty. Even though, I told her that she was being rude, she never once apologized or asked him to allow her to try and help him. We asked to see the GYN and she said, it’s under construction and she doesn’t know when it would be ready. He asked to see the 3bedroom and she said one wasn’t available. He asked could he see the 2 bedroom and she had some other response. This lady was either motivated by her own prejudice or she wasn’t interested in helping him and I don’t understand why. This is sad. Please fix your attitude.

I moved into Celebration about 6 months ago and I absolutely love living here! Mallorie, one of the salespeople, helped me with my move in and getting my documents ready. She was extremely helpful in answering all my questions and getting everything prepared like she said she would. The apartments have been beautifully renovated and look modern and clean. I get so many compliments on the quality of my home. The outside of the buildings are a bit older, but the inside certainly makes up for the aged look. I have a 2 bed/2 bath street level apartment (street level entry with a balcony that is above ground and neighbors below). The balcony is surprisingly spacious as well and the doors leading to the balcony are French doors that both open up, which is SO nice when the weather is decent! I am a single woman living alone and so my main concern moving in was safety. I never feel unsafe here, even at night! There is a security officer that patrols until 9 each night and the neighbors all seem friendly and tend to keep to themselves. Celebration even changes the locks after tenants move out and they don't recycle the keys, which adds to the safety factor. I have had a few maintenance requests here and there and the staff came out immediately and fixed whatever was needed. (The complex is a bit older - built in the 60s I think- so things will need touching up here and there, but they are excellent about it). Ray is one of the maintenance gentlemen that has responded to my requests and is very kind and trustworthy. He comes in, gets the job done, and doesn't make me feel uncomfortable when I am home alone and he is there. I also haven't had any issues with bugs. Carlos, the manager, has always responded to my emails in a timely manner, usually within 24 business hours and is very professional. Pretty much anything you need is close by and is easily accessible to 400 and 285. All in all, Celebration is really a great place to live for a young single professional like my self. - Carolyn
I have been a long time resident here at Celebration and since the new manager Carlos and his team came on board he has transformed this community. Carlos has engaged the community with resident events such as Wine Down Wednesdays and Movie nights. He extended the hours at the gym. Updated our laundry facility and provided a secure location to receive packages. Carlos ensures the grounds are well kept and I see him walk the property every morning with maintenance team when I'm walking my dogs. Carlos has always provided us with a dog park and playground. I must say my dogs are huge fans of the dog park and I am thrilled to have a place for my dogs to enjoy. Thank you Carlos and your professional team for improvements you brought to this community. I've been living in the complex for a few years now and have been extremely happy with it...especially now that it's come under new management. Since the arrival of the new manager Carlos, the grounds are well maintained (beautiful flowers, green grass, etc) and he goes above and beyond for the residents. There are resident wine nights, movie nights by the pool for the kids, cookouts and holiday celebrations. The newly renovated laundry room and package concierge service are also great to have. Whenever I need something done in my apartment, maintenance comes the same day. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there are issues with roaches in the summer time (despite how clean you are). However, if you call the leasing office and let them know they will schedule you an appointment with pest control. I went ahead and self treated with Bengal Gold reach spray ($14) and haven't had an issue since.
The Celebration at Sandy Springs is a great little community. The neighbors and staff are friendly and the amenities are lovely. My apartment is gorgeous and more than roomy enough for my husband and I, but we would love to be able to dream a little bigger. I would describe this apartment as the perfect stepping stone in my life, a home while I grow and discover the next adventure in my life!
I had a dream for the last five years to move to a new city. My destination was Atlanta, Ga. I rented my apartment site unseen. I was told it was going to lovely, in a great area , safe and clean. It has turned out to be a disaster. I am here since June 12th , 2015. The apartment is dark, it has bugs, the grounds are not kept up properly. The incinerator is filthy and broken. They have no recycling. I have cried every night that I have lived here. I blame myself for being so stupid as to not trusting my instincts renting without seeing it first. I spent a considerable amount of money to move in here. I have had water bugs in my apartment , roaches and I have spent money spreading boric acid and pest control everywhere. I will urge anyone please never rent a place online without seeing it first. They property manager made it sound like a lovely place to live. I have not felt good since I moved in. I am worried about all the pest control I have had to use. I am having headaches, not sure if it is from something toxic in the apartment. Today I witnessed them evict a family. They took all of their belongings and through them in the gutter. Not sure if it was drugs or not. I do not feel safe living here. The leasing agent told me that" being a single woman in Atlanta if I did not carry pepper spray I am stupid " . I do I am stupid at this point I feel like I have ruined my life ! They say your home should be your sanctuary this is a far away dream ! I feel so drained and depressed. What I hoped to be a great start in my life moving and being in a lovely place has turned out to be a heart break. I do not have the money to leave I spent it moving here to Celebration. The only Celebration there will be here for me is Celebrating when the lease is up and I can find a decent place to live God willing ! Anonymous
I have resided at the Celebration for almost a year and just renewed my lease the other day. This will be my first apartment community I renewed a lease with since I've been in Atlanta, GA. I come from New York City and said to myself if I'm going to stay in Atlanta and pay a reasonable price, it has to be in a decent area. I have been in three communities in the same area as the celebration and wanted to be somewhere where I would not just up and move once the lease was up. Who would stay somewhere where they felt uncomfortable and unsatisfied? I am the queen of complaining to the higher authorities IF there is an actual problem...especially if I am paying money for whatever the problem is. I was pulled in by the leasing agent named Angela who came off so welcoming and sweet and til this day she still is she knows my voice when I call and all. The day I viewed the apartment, I quickly got the needed money orders to do my credit check and I was approved and from then on it was history. I have had minir maintenance issues, but the guys were on it. No one has given me attitude nor have I had to give my attitude. I love it here. I read reviews of everything before deciding to check it out myself and the Celebration was no different. I never had to complain to the office since I've lived here, I feel safe happy. I even painted my walls (and not just one color, but designs) which must be painted back white or you will be charged a fee for them to paint it back. I say that me painting my walls was a sign of comfort, settling. Although, you can pay to rent a home for the price you rent an apartment in Atlanta, a home period will be much more expensive with much maintenance. I chose my current apartment carefully because I want to stay for a few years as I save for a home and build my career.
Relocation from another state was simplified by the helpful staff here. My transition has been smooth sailing and I could not be more satisfied with my decision. I read some scary reviews but still decided to travel to Celebration to see for myself and I am glad I did. I am very pleased with my place, the staff, and the maintenance team here. Krogers, Publix, Aldi, Big Lots, cvs, walgreens, LA Fitness, Starbucks, The marta station, and numerous restaurants are all within walking distance. Super Target and Super Walmart are within 3 mile radius along with two of my faves... PF Chang and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse! The community and surrounding area is rated above average for safety as well as location so it's a no brainer that I have a winner!
The apartment is very spacious. There is no vent in the bathrooms and when it rain, water drips down on the toilet seat in the hall bathroom. They have attempted to fix it twice. The dishwasher do not work properly, the soap dispenser do not open, the refrigerator door do not close properly. We had to take the bulb out because it would not go off. The freezer part do not close properly either. Ice cream melts.
