Because Sherwood Forest sits within the larger neighborhood of Broadmoor, the area is often referred to together. Sherwood Forest is located between Florida Boulevard and I-12 on the southeast side of Downtown Baton Rouge. This neighborhood extends roughly from Sharp Road east to Flannery Road. It is a very close-knit residential neighborhood complete with a Citizen's Association that organizes community events, including cleanup days and neighborhood garage sales.
Defined by large trees, expansive lawns, and wide sidewalks, Sherwood Forest feels very much like a suburban community. But residents can easily reach downtown in less than 15 minutes, and Louisiana State University is just eight miles from the neighborhood. The North Sherwood Forest Community Park provides residents with 13 acres of green space and includes a walking track, a playground, picnic areas, and a fitness center.

I honestly can’t wait to leave from here. It’s been 4 months since we haven’t had light in our kitchen so we have to use a lamp. The maintence man told me 2 months ago that he would come back , he never came back. I told him to please fix my closet door , he said “he forgot”. No one came back to fix my ceiling and dishwasher. Our vent is still half open. I have pictures of what still isn’t fixed
The kitchen is a little small but the rooms are great I size. There is a balcony attached to my bedroom really cool. I would recommend this spot.
Man I never had an apartment with new everything the finished apartments is fabulous and the view is amazing.
It’s so unprofessional here how do you have people to remodel apartments but can’t get maintenance to fix the apartments that tenants are already staying in. Since I’ve been in a lease I’ve complained about the same things from day one and nothing is fixed. When I call the lease office no one ever pick up. They always have a different property manager every other month it’s a new person. If you move here I hope it’s in one of the remodeled apartments otherwise DO NOT DO IT.

I recently moved here , but I had a few manor things needed fixed & I told the manager “Ms.Meme” I call her that name lol , but she got on it the same day !!! It’s quiet over here . People have pets but ion be hearing them while I’m sleep are just chilling . I have a one bedroom it’s nice in here ! I told a few of my home girls & they like it over here . It’s not bad over here at all , I like it .
As of 6/28/2020 I'm in one of 20 apartments with broken AC and no fix in sight. It's currently 81 degrees inside. Apartment is unresponsive to calls and emails and management seems to think having fired all maintenance staff is an excuse for not having this fixed in the business week since they were alerted to the issue.
There are two good things about this apartment complex. The office staff is nice and it's a quiet location. But I feel like it's one of the worst places I've lived in. They are so many BIG roaches. I just killed 3 this morning, all of them were in my bedroom. There is not a day that goes by that I don't have to kill at least 2 cockroaches. And my A/C unit doesn't work properly. I'm hot until around 23:00 every day. I've shared this information with the office staff, they attempted to fix the issue but have not succeeded.
