Cascades at Northlake Apartments

It’s annoying to be a smoke free property and to constantly smell marijuana. I can’t sit on my patio or have my balcony door open because neighbors smoke on a daily basis morning, noon, and night.

Everton was professional and helpful. However there were times when I could not reach anyone in the office and at times it was frustrating. I would leave messages via phone and text and no one would get back in touch with me . But when I could reach someone they were very helpful.

People are friendly, the community is clean and inviting. The office staff are friendly and always helpful. I love the way they host community events so people can get to know one another.

Amazing Place. Big apartments wonderful leasing staff. Maintenance comes fast to work on work orders. I love how we have events which help bring the neighborhood together

It’s a pretty good community. It’s quite most days. The parking situation could be better. I was getting a company car and was told I could not get/purchase another parking pass and that I would have to get a garage which wouldn’t even be anywhere near my apartment and cost an extra $150 a month.

Overall great interaction with staff! Property is clean ! We recently went and took a tour and the property was absolutely fabulous. Everything was clean and the staff was over friendly. The pools and the gym looks amazing. Can’t wait to use both!

It’s actually really peaceful I don’t like how my power went out but im letting that go. I love the colors and how quiet it is.The maintenance team is okay needs a lil improvement

Sophie did a wonderful job making the transition to cascade Apartments smooth and easy. She was able to answer all my questions, timely, and efficiently whenever I needed anything I was able to call her and she was able to quickly help out. I highly suggest this community and if you ever plan on joining Cascades ask for Sophi, she will help your move-in process to be seamless.

The community is wonderful and its very well kept. The maintenance has been quick with everything. My apartment looks completely different from when the past tenants left.

The community is nice, the people are friendly. The workers in the front office always get the job done. When I first arrived they attended to my needs and made sure that I was approved and comfortable.

I have lived in this community for awhile and enjoy the fact that they have maintained the cleanness of the club houses and common areas . I'm happy to be a resident!

My neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. That's the plus. The downside is that there are clean up bags for your pet everywhere but the neighbors aren't cleaning up after their pets.

been here almost three years and its an ok neighborhood . could do a little better with thd trash pickup since we are paying for the service

Amazing apartments. Leasing agents need more training on professionalism and communication for applicants. My application was delayed at least a month longer than it should have been because they failed to communicate an error with an email to confirm income.

It’s been few years in this community and iam very comfortable here. Maintenance is prompt and good. Office staff are supportive and responsible. Nice amenities too.

I’m loving my new apartment it already feels like home. Vanessa and Lorena in the office were really helpful in getting me taken care of. I also like that there’s plenty to do right outside the community. There’s a huge mall right up the street and all the restaurants you could ever want. Everything is so nice and green on the property as well. Access to the city is right there for you too. This is a great place to stay.

Great community and location! This is my second time living here. I love that I have upgraded floors, counters, cabinets, and appliances! Make sure that every new guest gets a welcome packet even if it’s the end of the night!

I enjoy it here. Nothing bad to say. Nice scenery, stays decently clean, maintenance gets you in within a few days and the office staff is friendly overall.

I have had ups and downs while living here. It is not a bad place to live. Had a bad experience with the maintenance manager but never any issues with the office staff

This apartment complex does not have adequate visitor parking space. The towing company the apartment complex uses tows newer vehicles before older vehicles to ensure they make profit. The towing company is very unprofessional. Don't move here they tow visitors and tenant's. Stay clear you will be paying rent and towing on a frequent basis.

It took a while but I’ll tell you they are worth the wait I’m really excited to make new memories in my new home I can’t wait to start using the beautiful kitchen.

On the first day I moved into this apartment, I already encountered problems with the dryer I which is not working and the kitchen cabinets are broken. Also the guy who gave me the keys didn’t tell me I have to call to AT&T to connect my service.

I had a wonderful experience at this apartment! It was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, creating such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was also incredibly kind and professional! The pool was crystal clear and absolutely beautiful. Every detail was well-maintained, making it a perfect spot to unwind. I highly recommend visiting—such a great experience, and I can’t wait to come back!

Application process was a little confusing and it was difficult to get in touch with the office by phone at times. The apartment itself looked great though.

I have been a resident for a few years and have enjoyed my stay here. The office staff are very nice and all helpful. I also love the overall cleanness of the community.

So far any issue I have reported has been fixed in a timely manner. Communication about events are given with plenty of notice and reminders.

The lack of response from lease renewal to renters insurance leaves something to be desired. My problems never get resolved within a timely manner.

Moved in two weeks ago. Due to the prolonged lease and all the issues that came with it, we didn’t sign until the actual move in day. We had toured a different unit of the same floor plan. After signing and getting the keys, we walked into our unit for the first time and there was a strong mothball smell. Two weeks later is still here, after numerous cans of Lysol, febreeze, airing out and having to rent a steam cleaner (because the carpets were old and filthy). Hope to get the smell gone soon. I sent an email that went unattended to, as well as told someone in person at the office (she didn’t write any of it down) not sure how to get this smell out but it’s getting really irritating. Don’t think the unit was properly handled before move in, due to smell, old carpets, as well as a light fixture that was left hanging off the ceiling in the closet. Not to mention the first week here we saw a unit getting new carpets so that just makes it more frustrating. Cascades has a lot of work to do

It’s been good. Not to happy about being forced to pay for WiFi that I don’t want. Especially when I have a better plan through another company.

Great quiet place to live, valet trash, nice gym and club house for residents. Walking trail. And shops nearby. Staff is nice and attentive

I think Cascades has the potential to be a 5 star property. There are things that I pay for as a resident that should be easily accessible and functional. There are gym machines that need tending to, the pet washroom also needs to be fixed or replaced, the proper sanitation at the dog park, both the pools being functional, and possibly security. There are people who are smoking weed in the gym/pool house. I have kids and I hate for them to go there to workout because it smells so bad. The staff is helpful if I bring an issue to them, but no one wants a nag, so I have stopped saying anything. I do enjoy the location, and my home, just minor issues. This is not a negative or positive review. It is just an honest one.

Best community to live in. Maintenance staff respond promptly to work orders . Leasing staff always makes me feel welcomed coming in. Largest gym I’ve ever seen in a community and they have two big pools.

It’s nice i had a lot of issues but it tend to get fixed after a while. My apartment got changed the day i moved in and the apartment i moved in was not freshed someone had just moved out and needed work to be done on it.

The community has been great so far! I had no issues with anything as of yet. This will be my first summer in the community and I am looking forward to utilize the pool area.

I love my community and my spacious apartment. I have never had any issues. The views are amazing & so are the people in the leasing office. They always make me feel welcomed and Like I belong in the community

A wonderful place to stay. New management and better life. They are pet friendly with such a magnificent dog park. They have a patrol officer(s) all night to keep the complex safe at all time.They are doing such a wonderful job.

Been here for 2 years now. Was decent when Cortland owned it, highmark ran this place into the ground. Someone was shot in the building across from me took a month to address it, no security. Gym is always unlocked, no resident events. There were always multiple events a month with Cortland plus free fitness classes. Management is a joke. I had no AC for TEN days, 0 accountability and will take legal action if anything even remotely close to that happens again.

Great, definitely a good community, when help is needed with repairs etc it is super easy to put in a request and have it fixed, only thing I am worried about is renewing the lease, hoping rent prices will be about the same, other than this the place os great, some roaches but most apartments will have, also have kill bait set out but still have them.

I don’t like the change where people can just walk into your apartment without notifying you. It’s not a lot of communication and it makes me feel like I don’t want to be here.

There have been numerous break-ins to cars, there have been drive-by shootings, the staff gives insufficient notice on any inspections or maintenance, threatens to break the lock if you don’t leave the door unlocked (in a place that has break ins and shootings!) or rearrange your whole schedule to be there, the amenities don’t work half as well as they should for the cost, you’ll get charged for valet trash that seems like they don’t show up half the time, and the waste bags they provide for pet owners so thin it might as well not exist. Overall, I’d suggest you keep looking

The office staff have been great, I really appreciate the teams in helping me solve a billing issue. I have lived at the apartments for a few years and the experience has been great.

Apartments are beautiful. Maintenance and leasing office are great. The leasing office ensures that all requests are met in a timely manner.

It’s very calm here and it’s not too loud The only thing I can say is the communication on certain things could be better.This is a nice place to be at .

After three years of being here, looking forward to moving away. the place has gone downhill, and it sucks because this used to be a great apartment

Decent place to live. I like the convenience of the location. Lots of stores around & not too far from downtown. I do wish amenities would be kept up better

I've been at Northlake Cascades since June 2024. The office staff is great and the maintenance team come quickly whenever I had a maintenance request. The apartments grounds are kept clean. The only negative that is in place is the towing company. It's not enough visitor parking and the towing company don't care. You have to make an appointment to pick up your own car. There are massive car break ins and stealing within the complex. I have went out to the parking lot and seen several cars broken into and glass on the ground. Two things: Get more visitor parking or only tow cars that are abandoned, busted windows instead of cars parked in regular parking spots. Secondly, improve the security to help with car break ins. The apartments themselves are nice.
