In spite of its name, the Westside neighborhood sits in a fairly central location among Atlantic City’s various resources and attractions. Atlantic Avenue, the beach, and the coastal casinos are all within easy walking distance to the south; the Borgata (with its numerous moth-watering dining options) sits on the north end; and the Atlantic City Convention Center, the rail terminal, and much of the local shopping lies just southwest of the neighborhood.
Within the community, folks enjoy a quiet, mostly-residential atmosphere. A few small corner markets and delis keep the population well-fed and well-supplied. Several public parks and schools are scattered throughout the neighborhood as well, making it easy to get around on foot.

Property Ratings at Carolina Village
Lack of communication and help. These people do both but take ur money. They lie sand cheat. And the amount there charging for rent for apartments that fall apart, grow mushrooms and mold. Roaches, bugs and mice constantly.
Mice, no air conditioner, no heating, staff rude as hell. Oh if someone breaks in and damages it they will make you pay for it.
I currently live here and its beautiful but the heating sucks. I have kids and it is cold in the apartment just like it is outside. As for roaches and mice as I seen other reviews I haven't had that problem so far just the heat issue...
Bug infested. Mice infested. Hard time reaching office staff for any issues. Opened my door on the THIRD floor to someone smoking crack in front of my apt. Always some sort of violent crime happening either on the corner or within a block radius
Management is very rude and unprofessional. Getting conflicting information regarding the move in process by the property manager and another employee. This place reeks of disaster!
This place is infested with mice.I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to live in these apartments
I do not like the apartment they all kinds of people living there. They don't take good of the property, apartment are full of ROACHS, and I mean ROACHS.I have being living for couple months and I am not happy at all. I don't think I will be renewing lease when it is up.
As a current resident residing at Carolina Village I'm here stating the fact that they have a major mice and roach infestation problem. They do not have professional exterminators that actually resolve the ongoing issue. They will leave bait and sticky traps that leave awful smells in your home. My advice is if you do not want to see mice on your counter tops running through your heating system running around your house. And if you do not want to see roaches crawling up your walls in your apartment do not sign a lease you will be very disappointed in how Property Management handles the situation.
My fiancé , roommate and myself currently reside here and the process was easy. Great location. Not a big place for crime. Few issues cosmetically but all around great place for young adults who are just out on their own. They also keep you updated on maintenance and issues they are working on. Would recommend to others.
I needed a place quickly in Atlantic City and I am happy I found Carolina Village. I had hard time getting in touch with people at other places. Their guy actually answered the phone, he was polite, and scheduled a time so I could check the place out. They were awesome when I moved in because they helped me move boxes into my place. They have been super quick getting to the maintenance issue I have had. Everyone in the office is friendly, the maintenance guys are very helpful and attentive. I am happy I found this place.
