Carolina Creek - Historical Access

Poor management. Won’t replace AC units. Dangerous community. Maintenance takes forever to fix things, and when they do, it’s temporary. Nothing is enforced but they do make sure to come in your place and fine you for things you didn’t do. It’s all about money. They don’t care about their residents. Pay more money to live somewhere else.

Carolina creek canceled the bus service to ECU and did not inform residents until the day before school. We keep receiving emails with excuses as to why it was canceled because management fails to realize why the residents are so upset and caught off guard by this decision. People would have been upset about the bus service regardless but being so tactless as to not inform your residents of this decision until the last possible second is where they really crossed the line. This will thankfully be the last year I have to deal with incompetent and at times blatantly rude management. To give some examples of this apartment complex's mistreatment of its residents, there was a leak in my roof that created a waterfall into my bathroom. It took management months to "fix it" by using an ungodly amount of caulk to fill in the rotted gaps around the pipe boot on the roof. Only when I threatened legal action and had my dad crawl up into the attic space and take photos of the rotted plank of wood did they hire an actual roofing company to fix the problem. In the process of fixing this one leak, we discovered a tarp on my roof that is no doubt covering more leaks. Carolina creek did not pay for those to be fixed, and that tarp is still there to this day. It has been about 2 years now. What everyone is saying about the ac is also true, the ground floor is freezing while the 3rd floor is like a sauna. The buildings are dirty and have not seen a power wash probably in the last 5 to 10 years. Maintenance is slow and unreliable due the apartment complex's aversion to hiring an adequate number of people for the job. Don't expect them to use their recently saved $92,000 to hire more people to get started on the 200+ work orders open at the moment. Save yourself the trouble and look for somewhere else to live.

The apartments are dirty. Management is unprofessional. We had a cockroach infestation that was not handled for MONTHS. Now they cancelled bus service for ECU students 12 hours before the start of classes. It’s horrible. Half the units don’t even have AC. This will be my last year here. Spend the extra money and live anywhere else!

I really enjoyed talking to Beyonce and Mila. They were very informative,polite and hepful answering all my questions. Because of them I definitely would move here because I see that management really cares and if I would have any problems I see that things would be handled in a timely manner I don't feel that I would get the run around.

Having now lived here for almost a while semester, I only have good things to say. You get your own room, bathroom, walk-in closet all to yourself. Not to mention the kitchen, dining room, and storage closets. Though I live with two others, it doesn’t feel like it with how separated the rooms are (which I love). Also I’ve heard people say things able the wall thickness, I’ve never had a problem with it. In order to hear someone else, they’d have to scream while I’m close to the wall. So I’m very glad I was able to find this place. It’s very underrated.

Do not move here. The office staff are liars, rude, do not know how to communicate and play favorites with their residents. You will have 0 freedom, may as well reside in a dorm on campus. Do not do it.

This is a quiet Neighborhood This is a quiet Neighborhood. It has great staffs. Pet friendly, Has a nice gym. It also has a nice pool and a volleyball section as well. I would recommend Carolina creek to everybody. If you was looking for an apartment come to Carolina creek

Staff and maintenance are awesome! Apartments are updated and spacious for a great price. Love it here, highly recommend!

The apartments are so spacious. Everyone basically gets their own floor. I have lived there for 2 years and resigned for a third! The office and maintenance staff are great and make you feel so welcomed!

These apartments aren't as nice as the reviews say. They are dingy and run down with broken appliances. The complex smells if you step outside and is located in a very sketchy area of Greenville. Choose somewhere else, im telling you.

I am a current resident of Carolina Creek, and I've already renewed for next year. There are countless reason why I love this place. 1. The privacy is unmatched with each roommate having their own floor. 2. It feels like home; the management allows you to hang things and paint, which essentially makes your space one of a kind. Combining these features supplemented with the excellent staff makes the decision a no-brainer, go take a tour today!

Have lived at Carolina Creek for a year and signed another lease for next year because I loved it so much! Comes fully furnished (a plus for broke college students). And if you ever need anything maintenance is always fast! Office staff is friendly and helpful always. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a nice “home” styled apartment.

Carolina Creek is a great place to live, especially because it is close to ECU campus. It is very spacious in comparison to other apartments in the area and everyone has their own floor. Everyone is super friendly and always there to help out.

Carolina Creek has a very friendly management team, a quick and easy maintenance and rent payment system, and great privacy in the units! It’s also in a nice, central location - quick drive to stores and restaurants but close enough to campus and downtown.

Carolina creek is a great place to live ! Safe and close to campus with excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and willing to work with your needs. Very satisfied with my unit. Clean and newly renovated. I will be renewing my lease .

Carolina Creek is great. The apartments are townhouse style and each Roomie has their own floor for maximum privacy and comfort. It is close to campus and has a bus that comes every 30 mins! Highly recommend!!!

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay close to campus in a nice area! They hold great events so it never gets boring in the clubhouse!

My time at Carolina Creek was amazing! The staff were always willing to help and answer any questions I had. Having the apartment split across the three levels made it great when living with a random roommate, but the selection process was great and we ended up becoming friends anyways!

I appreciate how quickly maintenance always responds to my reports and anytime I’ve had concerns the management team has always taken them seriously and reacted appropriately. They are always quick to take action and follow protocol for any safety concerns throughout the apartment complex

I love living here! I am super pleased with the staff in the front office, anytime I come in they know me by name and address any issues I may have right away! I chose live with random roommates and we were a all great match!

During my stay at Carolina Creek there has been minimal to no issues experienced. The maintenance team has been spectacular and on point when it comes to getting the job done. Great job maintenance team!

DO NOT stay here. Do not let the mask of good reviews by the employees fool you either. This is the most unprofessional and money hungry apartment complex I have ever stayed at during my time at ECU. I can’t even remember the last time I saw the base rent price I agreed to from this complex bc it was masked under monthly fees EVERY month also with outrageous utility fees that were clearly being used as another money source by the complex. I only had one roommate (neither one of us was barely in the apartment) and each month our utility payment managed to be $50 each. None of the management cares to hear any of your concerns. Save your time & YOUR money. You’re probably like me debating if it’s worth it. It’s NOT. You will be stressed dealing with this money hungry complex.

I don't recommend anyone to live out because their prices are unreasonable and if you're a student that attends Pitt they don't even provide transportation for them only for ECU and basically you're paying just to live in a room instead of an apartment 2 bedroom unfurnished $630 and for a mattress it's 15$ more and for furnished its $670. But I just hate it out there. NO STARS FROM ME

Usuites is a decent place for college students who prefer to have more space. The three floor set up allows for personal space at a reasonable price. I would recommend only for college students looking for a temporary place to stay.
