Close to my job

I have a fairly decent sized apartment for a one bedroom. I work around the corner and on a nice day I can walk there in about 10 minutes.

Great Property & Leasing Team

Mike the property manager is great and courteous. 2 bed, 2 bath is spacious with updated appliances and lots of recess lighting. Washer and dryer in unit. The parking lot could use some repaving and dog owners should pick up behind their dogs, but no major complaints. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Don't Even Bother

Just last week, my partner and I scheduled a tour to view Carnegie Park. We ran into a bit of traffic on the way there and felt it would be best to inform the leasing office that we would be about 5 minutes late to our appointment. My partner called and left a message with the leasing office informing them of our late arrival. We arrived around 5 minutes late as we anticipated, only to find the leasing office door locked with a "Be Right Back" sign attached to it. No problem with that at all. After a few minutes passed, we decided to call once more just to let them know that we had arrived. A moment after that, another woman arrived expecting to get inside the leasing office to no avail. Then another gentlemen a few moments later who also couldn't get in. By the time we had decided to leave, it been 30 minutes past our arrival time. I sent an email to Carnegie Park during that 30 minutes regarding our tour. Almost a week later, not one phone call or email response from Carnegie Park at all. Completely unacceptable.

Do NOT even consider applying!!!!

Where do I even start. . Please don’t waste your time! You will be beyond disappointed! All the red flags were there when I applied and still continued on and moved in! Biggest mistake! The MAIN issue is the management! They do not care at all! When you call they don’t answer, when you email they don’t respond, when you walk in they act clueless. They act as if they will assist you and care about your concerns but they won’t. I’ve been complaining since I moved in December 2020 and none of my concerns have been addressed, I’ve kinda of just said forget them. Parking is a mess! You can never park in front of your home. You have to park so far away from your house and then you have to walk(it’s pitch black out which is very dangerous woman or man). They made us pay for a gate that doesn’t work! If you don’t live in a penthouse you will feel like you are living under a herd of animals. I mean I can go on and on. Please listen to the reviews to save you the headache. Wish I did!

Do not waste your time or money

I only been living here for less than 3 months and i regret it. I been having issue after issue since i moved in and I’m pretty sure that i have mold building up in my place and they have not done a thing to repair or move me else where. The residence is not a priority and management shows that

I too had an apartment flood and I STILL NEED The carpet cleaned they promised to do so but I’ve never heard back. I’ve called soooo many times to speak to someone but no one EVER ANSWERS the phone. It’s pretty said especially for the money I pay you’d think we would have amazing prompt service from all angles . Parking is a joke people who don’t even live here take allll the spots! We have assigned parking we pay a month for and still come home from a long day of work and having to park on the whole other side of the complex and having to walk home was the last straw for me. I will not be renewing my lease. I guess they’ll NEVER KNOW because answering the phone clearly isn’t on their job description. It

Read the old reviews and notice the problems have yet to be fixed for years.

This place makes promises that they can’t keep. They promise to fix the gate and haven’t done that. Units are experiencing flooding and they don’t send anyone to fix it. Elevators don’t work so get used to stairs. Property managers and maintenance are still unprofessional and do not answer the phones. Corporate doesn’t respond as well. This place is a lost cause. Oh they will call back if it’s about rent payments but that’s it.

Maintenance

Apartment setting is nice and the grounds are clean. With that being said. The management is unprofessional and oblivious on how to run a apartment complex. When you call to speak to management regarding concerns and issues they are rude, unprofessional and their lack of knowledge just blows my mind. I had a water leak for over a year and after complaining and complaining they finally figured out how to fix the leak. When you call they barely answer the phone if you leave a message you never hear back from them. There’s been multiple times I’ve called the office left a voicemail and 10 minutes later I walked into the complex and they were all sitting there giggling and laughing and not Tending to their customers. Answer the phone people if your tenants are calling they are calling for a reason. There needs to be some corrective action steps taken at this apartment complex. Hate to see it Ruined due to a few unprofessional staff members.. Of all strategic mistakes the leadership Make at corporations.. one stands out: Taking the customer for granted

Horrible

Neighbors are not friendly at all. Common areas not cleaned often. Lots of unreported pets and people call with complaints about everything instead of speaking to their neighbors first. They just make assumptions without proof and the office goes along with it. Fees upon fees for everything. I will not be renewing.

Do NOT Move Here

Do not move to this complex unless you can afford a top unit. I’ve been here two years experiencing excessive and constant noise from the tenants that live above me. The only reason I renewed my lease was because I was promised by the area manager something would be done as management had changed. However I never heard anything from him again after my new lease was signed. Of course the noise continued. I would email the property manager, leave voicemails, you name it, but I never heard any feedback unless I emailed the area manager, and his response was always just that the tenant would be addressed. I ultimately proposed moving to another unit, but again they dragged their feet and by the time a unit became magically available I was no longer able to move due to personal circumstances. Not only would it have been a major inconvenience for me at the time, but they also wanted me to pay more than I’m currently paying! When I asked if anything could be done to the people actually causing the issue. I was basically told they can only issue verbal warnings. In the mean time I have to live with kids running, jumping, and throwing things on the ground above my head all hours of the day and night. It’s gotten so bad I’ve resorted to sleeping on my couch, and I STILL hear their noise!! On top of all this my boyfriend’s car was broken into and all four tires were stolen along with personal items inside the car. This happened during hours the gates are supposed to be locked. The gates are never locked, however, so your car is subject to anything during the night. It’s a shame the apartments are so nice but management does absolutely nothing to ensure they’re enjoyable for all the residents here.

It is not what it seems!

This property has gone way down! I live here and I'm so upset that I own a condo here! Pool has weave hair and scum! Jacuzzi always broke! Nasty bathroom! Babies in diapers in pool! Security cameras dont work! Gate does not work! Door buzzers dont work! Penthouse and elevators dirty! Storage area had used condoms and drug paraphernalia on floors! Loud ghetto parties in clubhouse! Police have to come out! They have their fronts up and that's about all cuz once you move in you will see the real deal this is not a place to raise a family or anyone to live and they have the nerve to charge all that money for this crap!I take pictures of all this nastiness but they won't let me download it!

Bias

My sister and I lived in Carnegie Park for 3 months before our apartment burned down while we were at work. Carnegie Park NEVER, even until this day, called us to say, "hey, your apartment is on fire, are you home? Is there someone else there?" Carnegie Park 4 telephone numbers on file. My sister and I (residents) and our two emergency contacts...NOT ONE PHONE CALL TO ANY NUMBER. I feel that because of the negligence of the apartment that my birthday present, 13 pound shitzu, Apollo, died in the fire. Our door was never opened to even give him a chance. I've been in talks with other residents of our same building and they had received their rent payment back for the month with a check from Carnegie Park. My sister and I were given our money orders back. Each time I call to ask question Jamal hangs up on me. I have never been in an apartment fire, but every fiber of my being tells me that the way my sister and I are being is wrong. They are very heartless and cruel. I'm not sure of the bias Carnegie Park staff has against us, but it feels really personal and unfair.

too outdated for the cost

nice size but way too expensive for the outdated and TINY kitchen and the bathroom is also very outdated. Also, expect more charges tacked on for everything.

A little bit country in the city

So much peace and quiet in the middle of the city. So close to all major expressways. This is the perfect apartment for peace and quiet. The management and environmental staff is outstanding and go out of their way to help. The rooms are large and spacious. I am in love the wood burning fireplace. I almost want winter to hurry up and come.

I absoutely Love it!

The area here is quick and safe. Being a woman you want security in knowing your in a good area and I def feel that here. My apartment is so nice and spacious and the closet space is excellent!!! I love it here. I love the private entry and my upper level apartment. Its so cute. Anyone would love it here. It feels like home!
