The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Capitol View
This apartment complex is close in proximity to many attractions, including shopping centers, restaurants, and downtown Albany. It is a very quiet neighborhood. The building is older (1970s), but the interior is very nice and spacious. The complex has two tennis courts and a swimming pool, as well as views of downtown. Definitely perfect for young working professionals like me.
I have lived here for a couple years now. I feel like overall this is a good place to live. There is a pool and tennis courts. The people mostly keep to themselves but are nice and will say hi. The staff are friendly and will get to any work requests you have in a timely matter. The walls aren't super thick, occasionally I can hear the neighbors mumbling however the walls are thick enough where I don't hear every word. It is very centrally located. Close to downtown Albany. Things to consider though, they have shared washer and dryers. Trying to do laundry during the weekend can be a hassle since everyone else is trying to do it at the same time. They are 1.25 per load. Dryers work OKAY usually I have to run the dryer twice. Also they allow smoking in the building, I am a nonsmoker and I can smell cigarette smoke in the apartment occasionally.
