The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Capital Grand
Staff has been super friendly and helpful. The apartments space is very generous.
Constantly adding new charges to you account each month
I’ve been here since early Dec. still no pool. Gym just opened , but our fobs don’t work so can only it during office hours. No kids playground as promised, I know a few parents here who are not happy.
This place is still a rip-off. Pool not open, car center not open, trash compactor overflows constantly from no power. Trash all over the place. No Grill area as listed. No kids play area. Of 'Course you pay for all these "extras" as they are "coming soon." I'm not sure what "coming soon" means but it's not usually 6 months. The new management has not even come up with new excuses, they just recycle the old managements used excuses. It's almost like they left them a script. The Maintenace department is still slow to react and rude. Not as rude as the last so that's an improvement.
Unless you like looking at garbage piled everywhere, hearing your neighbors blare music at all hours of the night and the smell of weed coming into your home through the thin floor boards, avoid this place at ALL costs. It is a miserable place to live, and the management are experts at dealing lip service and then dismissing a problem. You will also be paying handsomely for amenities that are not even close to completed- I was told everything would be done come thanksgiving and the construction company says mid March. This place is a joke and I will be leaving ASAP
I have to disagree with the other reviews. Management has resolved that issue and there's a new gentleman who is sharp. He's been very prompt and likes to schedule things with me so that way I'm home, and won't be inconvenienced. This company truly cares and treats us right.
Me and my girlfriend moved in with our new born and the property has been so quiet. Maintenance comes and fixes whatever is needed and is always very polite. On top of that the property is absolutely gorgeous, definitely recommend.
This place is terrible. Maintenance is argumentative and unresponsive. None of the the amenities are in place, no dog park, no gym, no pool. You pay for all this but don't get any. Buildings are built in a dime with problems the day you move in.
I moved in about a month ago. I agree with other reviewers - the front office staff are nice and polite when you interact with them, but they do not return calls and you must make multiple requests before something is done. The apartment was not clean when I moved in and various small issues remain unfixed. I do have ants and spiders in my apartment, but I hope that continually spraying them will pay off. My biggest complaint has been the inconsistency in the hot water. Sometimes it is hot, and when it is, it only lasts for a few minutes. I was told by the lady in the front office that I may have to live with taking 10 minute showers because she previously lived in a home under the same conditions. (I don't pretend to understand that logic). The maintenance person onsite is disrespectful and does not appear to know what he is doing. When I asked him to speak louder to my mother (who is disabled) he became irate and began yelling over me about how he demanded respect before he would give it. Very shocking that he exploded this way right in front of office staff, who had nothing to say except a saccharine 'Have a nice day!' when I left. I would not live here if you are a single female or you don't have time to keep after someone for repairs.

We just moved in a couple of weeks ago. The fire alarm in our unit was going off for an hour, but there was no fire and absolutely no smoke. We called the emergency after hours line several times and left messages. No one answered the phone or returned our phone calls. My husband knocked on the neighbor’s door to see if they are having the same issue. He happened to be the construction manager and told us it’s probably a faulty smoke detector and told us how to get it to turn off. We now don’t have functional smoke detectors and the after hours emergency line has thus far been useless.

These are brand new apartments and the unit my family is in is infested with ants. Biting ants at that. My child has woken up more than one morning in a row with multiple, extremely painful, ant bites. In addition to this, our home was left without A/c for one day and two nights in a row. It turned out to be a simple fix once someone who was capable of fixing it actually arrived. The first person who came to assess the issue told us that it could’ve been an issue with the “hold” feature on the thermostat, but had nothing to say when we told him the A/c was working perfectly fine before the night it went out. He also informed us that he was not knowledgeable about HVAC repair, and the maintenance employee we’d previously interacted with was no longer employed with the company. The ant issue has yet to be adequately resolved. But, they’ve said someone will be arriving sometime later this week to provide extermination, I’m hoping and assuming. The leasing office has already formed a habit of not answering the phone in a timely manner, if at all. I’ve had to drive to their temporary office on more than one occasion in order to receive assistance. But when I am able to get someone on the phone, or when I go to the leasing office, the two individuals I’ve interacted with have been very kind and accommodating. Even still, when we attempted to contact Emergency Maintenance about the broken A/c unit no one answered the phone, someone just showed up to our door on both occasions. The apartments are nice—great appliances, nice hardware, some attention to detail in regard to the door frames, crown molding, and base boards, but I am becoming increasingly concerned that the construction of the buildings themselves may be less than adequate. For example, when the Xfinity technician came out to install the Wifi that is included with signing a lease here, he was pulling trash out of the walls left behind by the person (or peoples) who ran the initial wires. That is great cause for concern. Even more concerning is the fact that the tub in my master bathroom does not drain properly and has not done so since my family and I moved into the unit. I’ve given the property two stars, for now, because they are nice in appearance, and are going for a decent rate when compared to neighboring complexes. But overall, my experience here has been less than peaceful and satisfying due to the above named issues. I will be updating this review once these issues have been remedied.
