The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Cameron Pointe Apartments
I met Jeri today to view an apartment and she was amazing. She showed me a one bed room apartment that was nicely renovated. Jeri's energy was very high and great customer service

The entrance gate has been broken since I moved in. The exterior lights throughout the property are inoperable, I’ve notified office staff several times. Building entrance door has been broken for months. Office staff are very unprofessional.

This is the worst rental experience I have ever encountered. From the time I provided my deposit to move in and now as a renter I am truly disgusted with the property management team. I have been in my apartment not even 90 days, I moved in 05/01/2023 and have encountered any issues every week! I am still waiting on the service request to be fulfilled or the job is never fully completed. My garbage disposal needed to be replaced. My AC went out in the same month of move-in. I still do not have Windows screens in my window. There are small bugs all in the crevices of the walls. On move-in day I was asked to wait until 1 pm to move in while my movers were en route to my new unit. Their website says they open at 8 am they are not accessible until 9 am. The property manager was switched within 2 weeks of my move in and I am still experiencing concerns with my unit. I have had an ant and fly infestation in my unit and spoke to the property manager on 06/22/2023. I was informed pest control would come out and did not come for two weeks until 07/06/223. Did not communicate where they put any sort of poison however left a sticky trap on my counter. It is nearly a month later and I woke up to ants on my kitchen counter, stove, in my dishes, and sink. I have observed ants in my cabinets, fridge, and bathroom. I cannot even have guests in my home without the fear of having ants crawl on them. I cannot even cook dinner without concerns of ants crawling in my food. Ants are the equivalent of roaches to me. On 07/I7/2023 was told to wait for pest control to come back out 07/20/2023 and have maintenance come out to seal the holes for possible entry. Maintenance did not come out and my calls to the property are being ignored.

We are truly sorry to see this low rating and understand how frustrating it can be not to have requests responded to or jobs fully completed. However, as per our records you have been in touch with our on-site manager quite frequently and she has been consistently addressing all of your concerns. If there is any additional concern that you would like to bring up, feel free to reach out and she will be happy to assist. Wishing you all the best. The Cameron Pointe Apartments Management Team
Do not move here! I never write reviews but I must warn future tenants. The new management company never answers calls or emails. They take a long time to fix anything and also post charges to your account that are not even yours. I had to monitor my account every month to make sure no erroneous charges had been placed on my account since the 1st charge was posted in error. I admit they did remove the charge. I have been living here for 9 years and really enjoyed it but I will not renew my lease. This company is horrible and you can tell by reviews I am not lying or just posting a review to be disgruntled. This is the hard truth. So If you want to take your chance and move here good luck. BEWARE I WARNED YOU!

The building / apartments are decent for the price although I have no idea who apartments some of these are in the pictures because they ain’t ours unless the new owners renovated some and if so I hope they plan on renovating the rest and the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet BUT unfortunately the property was bought by a new management company that’s is absolutely terrible nothing ever gets fixed unless you fix it yourself the office is always closed for some random reason and even when it is open don’t bother calling because more than likely no one will answer your best bet is to walk to the office and hope they answer key word HOPE
I have been living here for 5 years. The property was bought by Rushmore. Please I warn you not to move here. They never fix anything. I have been requesting maintenance for 3 months. Nobody ever comes to do maintenance. The office is always closed. You never can contact anybody and temps they hire are rude please stay away. This new company is the worst.
I’ve officially been here 7 months and I have to say I love living here. It’s quiet and peaceful. The young lady who cleans the buildings is so sweet and diligent when I see her I’m the mornings. The staff is pleasant and helpful and I really have no complaints except for the gate not working from time to time. Other than that I’m very very pleased with my community.
Terrible experience, leasing office was extremely unprofessional and can never be reached. If this is how they handle a move in I cant imagine what a service request would be like. I applied in December and was approved to move in the first week of February but becasue of a change in mangement I was told to wait for the switch for my lease agreement but all my information was ready and setup for my move. The new management reached out and told me to setup the requirements for move in things like pepco and confirmed a move in date for me. They then reach out the day before to deny my move in date (I had bought furniture and all) because they can not find my application or any documentation, telling me that I have to reapply and start the process over. This is absolutely ridiculous, I have lived in many apartments throughout the years and have never experienced something like this.

Hello, We greatly apologize for this unfortunate incident. When we spoke, we were diligently working with previous management to locate any paperwork previously completed. Regretfully, we could not proceed with a Legal Lease, without necessary information from all applicants. The transition was difficult and cumbersome, however, we were more than willing to accommodate you all, if you chose to stay with us. I hope you all were able to find a home. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience during the acquisition and hope all went well. Sincerely, Cameron Point Management
