Known as Omaha’s first suburb, Dundee is a lush, residential neighborhood with access to all kinds of shopping and dining. The intersection of 50th Street and Underwood Avenue is considered the heart of Dundee, where there are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants to explore as well as the Dundee Community Garden. Bordering Midtown, Dundee residents also enjoy convenience to Midtown Plaza and Crossroads Mall in addition to nearby Memorial Park.
Several colleges and universities are within close proximity to Dundee, including the University of Nebraska Omaha, College of St. Mary, and Creighton University. About four miles west of Downtown Omaha, commuting from Dundee is easy with access to Routes 6, 64, and 75 as well as I-480. Eppley Airfield is less than ten miles away too, making for simple travel plans.
