Eastchester is located just 22 miles north of Midtown Manhattan, and while parts of the area exhibit the same urban convenience of the city, much of Eastchester is comprised of charming residential real estate. Many renters move to Eastchester for a more affordable apartment and to escape the endless hustle and bustle of New York, but the subway system and Interstates will put you in the city in no time.
Residents of Eastchester enjoy access to three country clubs and a number of parks on the neighborhood’s east side. White Plains Road houses the bulk of the area’s culinary and retail offering. There you’ll find pizza, diner food, and gelato just steps from each other. Tuckahoe is just a few minutes’ drive to the west, and hosts a number of breweries in a lively downtown setting.
