Seymour’s close-knit community frequently gathers downtown, where there are plenty of shops, cafes, eateries, and theaters to explore. The community also comes together at many of the area parks, including French Memorial Park, Naugatuck State Forest, and Osbornedale State Park, in addition to the Naugatuck and Housatonic rivers. The Ansonia-Derby-Shelton Expressway connects Seymour to the rest of New Haven County and beyond.
