Brynwood Apartments

We first really liked the location of this place but they were all over the place. Took weeks to finally see the unit we were gonna move into, they showed us demo units and other units but never ours. When they did we found 3 roaches all in different rooms, less then 5 minutes into a freshly renovated and “move-in” ready unit. Barbara assured me that the roaches are active because they’ve sprayed pesticides 3 times in the three weeks it took to get the apartment ready for my and my family. When I asked her how they were still getting in she let me know no apartment is 100% sealed. They kept trying to have us sign the lease before viewing the unit and we are so glad we didn’t. Would not recommend.

Mrs Argentina has always been so great helping me out with any questions I have. She is very nice and friendly.

Only good thing is location. Fleas, dog poop and trash is a big issue here. Its embarrassing when you drive in and see trash all around the one dumpster they have and junk cars in the same area for over a month. Staff does nothing about it . No control over pets, poop, and fleas as you walk around.

New manager & office staff don't care about current residents! They just focus on renting all of the vacancies! Garbage everywhere! Sewage system has backed up at least 4 times this year! They eventually stop the flow but leave the human waste, toilet paper etc. all over the parking lots. People, kids & dogs drive, walk & bike through the disgusting biohazardous pools! Can't wait to get out of here!!

This place is trashy, there are water leaks, mold, crackheads, break ins... the new manager isn’t helpful at all, none of the staff know how to answer even the simplest questions and the police are on site every day for one reason or another! Do not rent here!

Horrible ! I moved in March of 2021, starting off all of March no hot water ! Took maintenance forever to fix the issue let alone the front office to notify maintenance, moving forward, the ac vent in the master bedroom barley blows any cold air, I have a newborn at home and I can’t have it uncomfortable! I’ve been waiting for a toilet seat since mine has been messed up, the Sheetrock is still not repaired and is now forming black mold in the inside !!! The washer was replaced and still has no cold water or hot water so that leaves me to find time with two kids at home to wash clothes ! So do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from here, front office does not care about your issues, and will just give you the run around.

They always listen and do things to make residents happy. Easy to communicate with about anything. All in all I love it here.

New Management and New Staff they need to be more helpful, friendly, respectful, patient and listen to the tenants who have concerns.

Baesd on Management and staff support, I would highly recommend Brynwood Apartments.

Beautiful community with friendly staff

I really like it it here at Brynwood. It is quiet, other than the noise from the tenant above. The grounds are kept clean on a daily basis and The grass, hedges and trees are done every week. All of my service requests have been addressed and completed in a timely manner. I am a little concerned about the frequent turnover of the office staff. Pets are welcome. I have always been greeted with a friendly smile, and treated with a great deal of respect. Rental fees are comparable to other complexes within San Antonio. Overall I am very satisfied and enjoy living here.

Brynwood apartments are welcoming, safe and secure. Its family and pet friendly. The location to schools and work are my main reasons for staying here. This is my first apartment living experience and have had zero issues in three years. I highly recommend this place.

Brynwood is an amazing apartment complex. The location is right of the high way which is great! Price is affordable specially for the fully renovated units. Everything about Brynwood has been amazing.

Beautiful, quiet place to live. Maintenance workers are very professional. They grounds are always kept clean and cut. It's a beautiful place to live. Management are very friendly and go above and beyond to help.e

Don't move here! There used to be a wonderful staff and maintenance crew was excellent. In the last few months staff has changed and no one seems to care about the property or the tenants.

Brynwood is a nice place to live, but when they said it was a luxury apartment, I feel like I was lied to. Half of our electrical outlets dont work. You can see the patchwork from holes/damage left to doors. The treadmill is broken and has been for months. And I have not received an email or paper bill in over 3 months. Our neighbors are loud at late hours and leave their trash out even on days there is no trash pick up. Ive stepped in dog mess twice from dog owners not picking up after their animal. But the maintenance departs is awesome. They are quick to take care of your issue and the office staff is very friendly.

Shanice the leasing agent Just helped us renew our lease, This is our 2nd lease and now this will be our second year. One reason we renewed is because we really feel appreciate the resident events and threes great people working here we really love this place :)

Shanice and yass really do care ,we love there events and shanice spirt she really makes a difference . Jacob and maintenance staff are great and on time we have been here for 2 years and wouldnt change it for nothing :)

Awesome staff

Brynwood is a great location to live! I love the easy access to the highway and the easy access to all areas of San Antonio through the neighborhood. The management team is super understanding and very nice! The maintenance team is very efficient. Jacob is great!! He has always fixed everything for me in a timely manner Theyve had a lot of updates recently and the grounds look great. Im happy I resigned my lease :)

Cant say I have many positive things to say about these apartments. Prior to moving here I had read negative reviews but I took the chance and moved here anyways only because it was close to my sons therapy school. I recently transfered into a 1st floor apartment and it turned out to have fleas in the guest bedroom. My apartment has been bug bombed twice but I still have some fleas in guest bedroom. I dont even have pets so Im very frustrated that my son cant even sleep in his room. Now Im waiting for pest control and I hope they finally will help get rid of the fleas.

This place is a money trap! Stay away, you are literally charged for everything! New management sucks, no one likes them. Maintanance men are creepy, and go into in your apt when you are not there! Stay away from this place!

I’m a current resident. I’ll start off with how it was when we first moved in. The apartment was pretty clean, they’re decent sized, and we got the apartment pretty easily. First issue happened when they insisted on providing washer/dryer, and charging $40/month for it. Which, obviously, I agreed to. But then, neither the washer or dryer worked for the first full month we were here, when I asked them to credit the $40 they charged, they refused. The apartment complex has been bought by a different company since we’ve been here, this somehow they’ve “redone” the parking lot two times in 6 months, causing a huge parking problem for days at a time that they made no effort to help. They force you to pay an extra $40 for cable too (not internet, just cable... yeah really), and of course they have valet trash. Basically, for the amount of money you’re going to pay here, you’re going to want so much more from management. As a resident, you really get he feeling that all they care about is money and getting you to sign that lease so you’re stuck. The only person who’s worth something in that office is Katya, all the other people are not helpful and disrespectful more often than they’re respectful.

We were supposed to meet with some one yesterday to tour the property but no one showed up. Not a good first impression.

I stay in an one bed/one bath. Bedroom is huge, living room is tiny. I wish the living space was more. Front office is awesome. Can pay online which works well. Considering going to a two bedroom just for more space and kitchen room!
