The historic neighborhood of Old Town is located in the North Side of Chicago, adjacent to Lincoln Park. Its buildings date back to the Victorian era, but the pace is anything but old-fashioned.

Bed Bugs Nov 2019

Stay away - up to 12 bed bug cases reported in a year here. Moved in and 3 months later.... bed bugs and carpet beetles. Much better options around.

Renters Beware

This apartment building is great, very polite doorman and an awesome location. You are ten minutes walking distance from the red line and the brown line. However, because this is a condo association there are tons of condo fees! The pool (up to $125 for the season that lasts two months) The tennis courts (up to $125 for the season, even though no one uses them) The gym (up to $50 even though it is the most basic gym possible). As well, the association can raise the rates at the drop of a hat, like when the laundry price shot up in the middle of the lease. If you are okay with the fees this is an awesome place to live with terrific views!
