Ample street parking Spacious apt. w/ storage Nice Appliances Ice maker Lg kitchen drawers w/ soft-close tracks. Md/Lg kitchen sink w/ spray nozzle Bedroom ceiling fan w/ a remote control Natural light Blinds Gym w/ stationary bike, rowing machine, treadmill, elliptical, small cable machine, free weights w/ bench, yoga ball, & open space. Nice Courtyard Pet-friendly No pest issue ~Chilly inside on cooler days/nights. ~No cabinet storage or fan in the bathroom, but some shelves, a good towel rack, and built-in space for products in the tub. ~Living room & kitchen lights are a bit dim -Noise can be heard inside. Front door & windows don't have a good sound barrier. -W/D combo only does ~1/4 size load of standard W/D or ~1/3 of a 27" L by 18" W by 12" D basket. Limited dry options. Some apts have a stacked w/d combo.

Living here feels safe. The residents are all great, the security of the building is by far the best selling point. And it’s centrally located to pretty much everything. Shopping, entertainment, you name it!

Fantastic neighbors in the building, management team is very dog friendly and they spoil our pup! Just wish we had some of the amenities we originally had when we moved in - mainly the night security because the unhoused have pushed more into the area and it’s becoming more dangerous around this corner of the block.

Brownstone was just what I was looking for. It is located close to downtown, Sunset bars and restaurants, and Dodger stadium. Includes assigned parking spaces.

Amazing management, Kia is the best. Easy process and the building and loft are incredible. Extremely happy with my first experience in LA moving from the east coast.

Just moved in and already feeling like this is home! And we didn’t even see everything when we toured! This building is beautiful and has everything you could want!

Great location if you are a Dodgers fan! Close enough to walk to the stadium so you can avoid traffic and paying parking fees. Building has assigned parking spaces in a gated lot.

If anything is broken in the building it will take 9 months to get "fixed". My washer/dryer was broken the first 3 months. My windows were broken shut for 6 plus months. They're heavy metal and glass windows from the 80's. The blinds are still broken. The only time you'll get an answer from a human person is when you hand over your rent check or sign paperwork. Plus it least 4 staff members have been fired the last 6 months. We still do not have our basic contact number in the call box so If you order ANY delivery, throw those shoes on. There used to be security cameras & staff in the common area but they've been taken away or quit. Since the next "Fast n Furious" movie came out it got the neighborhood re painted with pylons and paint. The RV's and garbage hoarding trash has moved to the side of the building. The pictures of the building look great but be ready to take the ride.

Terrible service, there’s no customer service, no management on site, and you get charges with no reason and no evidence. Over priced, there are several apartments under this budget with much better quality and amenities. * We got robbed twice inside the parking lot and no actions to increase the security of the gate that you can bend with your hands and is easy to access the garage for any homeless or bad guys. DO NOT RENT HERE!

As of 2019, this apartment's management is clueless. We recently had to break our lease due to a lack of service in response to bees, cockroaches, and a broken window that fell from the top floor and almost killed my dog. They took months to get someone to fix the window, and still have not fixed it last time I checked. We are glad we moved out. Do your research on multiple review sites before putting your hard earned money into this headache.

Management seemed very helpful at first. We weren’t able to physically view the apartment but they were happy to do a video walk through and offered to hold the apartment for almost 2 weeks. We then decided to complete the application form and straight after we were told to pay a holding deposit by cheque. Holding deposits for apartment complexes aren’t uncommon but as we weren’t in the U.S. at the time this was difficult to do and on top of it never mentioned before. We told management that even if we posted the cheque, they wouldn’t receive it before they had made a decision on us. Never heard from them again until we arrived and called to check in. The application was approved but they never told us and had rented the place in the meantime. They weren’t even the slightest apologetic. Given our experience and other feedbacks, we’re glad this didn’t work out.

Management was obnoxious! I constantly had notices posted on my door about them entering the following day. Why not text or try to work around my schedule? I also got a notice when on my door when rent was short by 1 cent! Also, the noise from the freeway is bad when there is construction in the middle of the night. Don't be distracted by how lovely the building is. It's a pain living here.

Infested, Not pet friendly, No washer dryer in unit. I've lived here for 2 months and already regret it. If you love ants, don't have pets, or do your own laundry- then this place is OK. Infestation: -I had an SERIOUS ant problem, I kept the place very clean but they kept coming in. When I reported it, maintenance never responded and I checked the request online a week later, it was marked "resolved." So I was left to deal with it and ended up just sealing all the cracks in the walls myself. Yes- there are cracks in the walls where the exposed brick meets the drywall where bugs come in. Also my windows don't actually lock, so if you are concerned about feeling safe, that might be a concern. No Pet Play Area -Contrary to the boasted amenities, THERE ARE NO pet play areas. We just received notice that the "pet play area" isn't a play area. Any resident seen with the pets off leash in this previously declared "Pet Play Area" will be evicted or fined. Also, if you come and look at the property- there are no signs outside about pets having to be on a leash or anything about being fined, so I think the owners are greedy liars at this point, but maybe I'm over reacting. ;P No Washer/Dryer- When I moved in I noticed that the dry function on the "washer/dryer" doesn't dry clothes. It just heats them up. You can't run another cycle to try to dry them further without washing them again... so it just doesn't work. To confirm that these are not dryers, the laminated information sheet about the "washer/dryer" that is provided with the unit- it specifically says "For this model Dry option is NOT A MAIN FUNCTION, so if you want using Dry option as a main function it is more efficient using the Dry only model" So be prepared to air dry everything or go to a laundromat. There are other, cheaper apartments that are nicer with pet runs and that at least have both washer and dryers on site. I can't recommend this place to anyone with a dog, anyone who likes cleaning their clothes at home, or anyone who doesn't want to deal with bugs. I am really looking forward to moving somewhere else that is more pet friendly next year that has onsite laundry. Good luck on your hunt!

Building is beautiful and great location. Horrible management - they don't follow up, all very rude, impossible to get anything fixed, building doesn't have a proper mail system or security so packages get stole by neighbors. Building managers change constantly so it makes it very hard to reach out to the right manager and get a reply. Hallways are constantly dirty from neighbors dogs. They don't fix things that are broken in the apartment before a new tenant moves in. At the moment all this has happened and I've been living there for 3 months. Give 1 star feels grouse for the amount for rent I'm paying a month

An absolutely beautiful building with incredible amenities. The building is an old brownstone, that has been renovated only a few years ago. Ours is a large one bedroom with a huge ensuite bathroom. The best part is the fact it is extremely dog friendly. It seems like a large percentage of our neighbors all have dogs and the building is more than accommodating and it even includes a small dog park gated in the back. Not only that but you cannot beat the location. Less than a mile from downtown or the other way a beautiful walk to Echo Park Lake. The third story rooms all have rooftop decks, while not huge offer an incredible view of Los Angeles. The one draw back is the management, it has been in flux since I have moved in, which has made getting credits back from incorrect billing very difficult. However with a new person managing the building and here most days I hope it will change.
