Because Sherwood Forest sits within the larger neighborhood of Broadmoor, the area is often referred to together. Sherwood Forest is located between Florida Boulevard and I-12 on the southeast side of Downtown Baton Rouge. This neighborhood extends roughly from Sharp Road east to Flannery Road. It is a very close-knit residential neighborhood complete with a Citizen's Association that organizes community events, including cleanup days and neighborhood garage sales.
Defined by large trees, expansive lawns, and wide sidewalks, Sherwood Forest feels very much like a suburban community. But residents can easily reach downtown in less than 15 minutes, and Louisiana State University is just eight miles from the neighborhood. The North Sherwood Forest Community Park provides residents with 13 acres of green space and includes a walking track, a playground, picnic areas, and a fitness center.

Do NOT MOVE HERE!!!
Rat infested! Poor management, they show no empathy for their tenants. I have pictures and videos.

My experience
Everything here is descent. The only irritating thing is the neighbors. They are inconsiderate of others and sit outside blasting music at 6am every single day until about 8am. But it’s apartments so what can you expect really. Other than that the apartments are nice enough and the only thing I would give a great rating here would be the staff. They are quick to fix what’s broken and help with any problems you have.

Moved In easy and it was nice
I had a great experience at Broadmoor Plantation Apartments. The move in was easy and fast I was explained everything I feel really good about my move. The leasing agent Cassie was awesome shes a sweet girl made me feel really comfortable and showed me the apartment. I really like it here managers are great as well.

It's quiet and spacious, but there are a lot of rules you have to abide by. Man!!! Freedom where are you??
