Fair Oaks is a scenic neighborhood located next to Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, a popular suburb of Atlanta. Fair Oaks is convenient to destinations like Kennesaw State University and Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. Unlike most suburban communities, Fair Oaks is a combination of residential and industrial sections, with numerous green spaces scattered throughout.
Fair Oaks is named for the many mature oak trees that fill the area. So when the base wanted to cut down many of the trees in order to land plans more easily, the active community fought to keep the trees intact. The Georgia General Assembly sided with the residents, as the community existed long before the base. As a result, the neighborhood maintains its heavily wooded landscape.

Property Ratings at Brix on Beech
there are roaches in every unit even the empty units. they are not trying to fix the problem. they do not send pest control to every unit. there is a serious infestation and something needs to be done
Upon moving in apartment had bedbugs and the blame was placed on us. We had to read them ourselves. That was just the first of our problems. Now I am seeing about 20 to 30 roaches at least per day. It's impossible to live here. Do not live here. Do not move here if you want to keep your sanity.
Roaches are everywhere. You have to request for pest control to come every single week even though you pay for pest control every month. The pool hasn’t been open for the past year. If you want to keep your peace of mind look for somewhere else to live especially if you have little ones.
My first apartment. pros: - convenient location - nice management, quick maintenance - decently private/quiet. - frankly the best place in the area for this price.... - if you think you may buy a home after renting here for awhile, you can ask and theyll put a thing in the lease that lets you out if you purchase a permanent residence. cons: - I don't feel safe using the laundry area, as it is an enclosed small space with a door that can shut, and the cameras were missing for awhiiilllle. I instead do laundry elsewhere, theres a laundromat down the street ladies. - the pool is shaded- little to no sun back there. - only one pet waste can in the whole complex and it never has any baggies. - the occasional gunshot sound out in the lot. overall, this place is a pretty solid option, and can be used as a stepping stone to a better place.
