National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Brittany Apartments
My uncle has lived there for about 11years. His apartment needs painting badly and the fixtures need updating, the outlets need replacing. Everything is old and dingy looking. He said he was told not to hang pictures on the walls! Looks like a warehouse with nothing on the unpainted dingy walls. He said because of management changes nothing gets done. It’s unfortunate he can’t be proud of his place because from the outside it seems modern and upscale, even the pictures they have are modern…… but not his apartment. I hope management reads this and gets his place updated soon.

Thank you for reaching out. If your uncle would like to speak about the items in his apartment that need fixing, please encourage him to visit our office at his earliest convenience so we can set up those maintenance appointments. We look forward to connecting with him and improving his experience in our community.
I love my view. It’s quiet , beautiful place to live in a great location. I only wish I could wash clothes whenever I wanted. The power goes out occasionally. It would be nice to have a different kind of system in place to know when it’s a false fire alarm and when it’s real. (For safety purposes) I have lived here for 1 year with 3 different managers so maybe that could improve too.

Thank you for your review of The Brittany. We are happy that you consider your experience to be worth 5-stars and that you enjoy our beautiful and quiet community. We appreciate your feedback about the alarms and we are working on a solution with a new vendor.
Living at the Brittany Apartments has been an excellent experience for the following reasons: friendly, quiet, the exterior and interior are well kept. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and quick maintenance team provided quick turnaround for any problems you may have in the apartment. The biggest surprise for me was after meeting a number of residents who have lived at the Brittany apartments for 10-15 years!
Besides my racist neighbors, never being able to get in touch with my landlord, not being able to wash clothes after 9pm, and never being able to get in contact with maintenance, I would say it's pretty ok place to live. It's quiet, clean and there's a gas station next door.
