Bristol Gardens

Bristol Gardens is a nice and peaceful community to live in. Many resident's like myself have been out here for a couple years due to the peaceful and quietness atmosphere. The office staff is excellent but many changes should be made in regard to updating and remodeling apartments. I have a renewal coming up and is unsure on if I really want to renew due to me asking these last 2 years about updates for my apartment with the carpet being a big factor because me an my child has bad allergies and I myself have a chronic sinus/allergy condition. My apartment has had mold in the utility room as well as the bathroom wall above the shower.

Great place to raise your children & also have a great school district

The staff is excellent. They made the moving experience so great and easy. Any maintenance issue is dealt with very fast. The other residents are very friendly and welcoming. I love the park-like atmosphere of the property with the nice lawn and beautiful trees. My son loves the basketball court and playground!

The balconies need to be repaired and replaced. The laundry facilities need to be cleaned. Parking needs to be enforced.

Bristol Gardens is a great place to live. Everyone in the office is very friendly. I like that the new manager Sam understands enough sign language to communicate with me. It has made things much easier.

Bristol Gardens is a great community to live. My family has been here for a few years. The new management is great and maintenance goes above and beyond. The security cameras that were recently installed add a new level of safety and sets Bristol Gardens apart from other apartment communities in the area.

Been here for almost four years finally have two nice and professional office personnel!

Overall I am very comfortable very pleased with the freedom of feeling like my own private home I have less stress and more rest I know in the last 4 years very compassionate the whole staff

Bristol Gardens has be a pleasure for the almost year we've been here. Friendly staff and neighbors, easy access to laundry, and never any trouble with maintenance! 100% would recommend :)

Communication is very important. Having att Good communication,attentive and caring staff is important and was a priority I value that. They have a great leader as well Team work to get the job done is needed and was definitely a strong display here

I am very appreciative to be an tenant in Bristol Gardens. I love the area. I am a private person. So this area works just fine for myself. Also I do not have to commute so far to get to work.

I lived here for three years, in two different apts. 2nd fl., now 1st. fl. I'm very satisfied so far. Never any type of insect or rodent problem. My plants live on my patio/balcony all summer long, undisturbed. Management/Maintance are usually on hand during office hours. Access to the internet available in office..Very nice place to live.

It's a good place to live. Apartments are very nice, maintenance is quick, location is good. I've been a happy resident.

I lived here for one year (2014). It's as far north in Decatur as you can be without being in Forsyth, so there are plenty of stores and you're right by the interstate. You can still smell ADM, sadly (Yay, Decatur.) Overall, they are NICE apartments, especially for the price. Tons of space, balcony/patio, walk-in pantry, dishwasher, central heat/AC, linen closet. I had no pest problems, and when I called for maintenance, they were there within a day. I liked entertaining there. Parking is fine. The folks in the rental office are friendly. In spite of the interstate, it's actually pretty quiet. I never had problems with neighbors or noise. They clear the parking lots and salt the sidewalks when it snows. They allow small pets (albeit for some major fees). I'd probably live there again if I didn't make too much money for it now (and, you know, was willing to live in Decatur). There are a few downsides. They turn over those apartments FAST. I found paint in the carpet, some chips in the cabinets, and other little things that are probably from them flipping the units too fast. There was also some issue with the wiring from a previous tenant (who had a satellite dish), but once they figured out what was going on, they were able to fix it. The laundry setup could have been better. The laundry rooms were more like cramped, often dirty closets, and the machines broke relatively often. Also, if you don't like the idea of management entering your unit a lot, then this is not the place for you. Not only do they routinely enter to check for pests and other maintenance things, they also have LOTS of unit inspections. In my year there, I think they did four. And you can be failed for very tiny things. Like cardboard boxes. Apparently having cardboard boxes is against their rules. You can also get points off for things not being perfectly clean/tidy. I got failed once for having clothes on my bedroom floor. They warn you ahead of time, and if you fail, you have some time to remedy the problem, then they re-inspect. I never failed the re-inspection, so I don't know what happens if you do. I found the inspections really annoying, and they were one reason I ultimately moved. But if you're very tidy and don't mind the intrusion, it's not that big a deal. Anyway, it was overall a good place, and if you meet the income requirement, you won't find a nicer apartment anywhere in Decatur. Just know that they will be in your unit every month or two for some reason or another.
