Property Ratings at Brentwood Apartments
Property is always clean or cleaned up quickly. You can tell alot is going on and changes have been made and are still currently being made. Just like most of the economy- Struggles with finding workers who actually care has been a challenge but I believe the right people are in place now (staff is great and helpful) and I have high hopes that my time here will remain great.
Property management will not stand by what they say. I moved out early and was assured everything was going to be ok because of renovations. Now they don't want to refund the security deposit. Maintenance loves to say they came by but my camera footage shows then didn't even show up.
No communication. We reach our to office no response. Maintenance says they are coming or have been there and have not. I have a camera in my apartment. Asked for lease details since We missed date to vacate and still have not received.
The current management totally sucks! Nothing is done. No communication on status of repairs. It's really too bad. This property is falling apart. The owners need to take some serious action with who is managing this complex.
The new management that has taken over these apartments are horrible! They don’t fix maintenance issues, and don’t care about your living conditions. Corporate is doesn’t help. Had to go to the government to get them to respond to mold and termites!
I have been here a very long time and everything was good until they sold out to this new company, The people in the office are not helpful. I have put in numerous tickets about my a/c working properly. My apartment is hotter inside than outside throuighout the day, mu burner caught fire the day before Mother's day & I have yet to have anyone come see about that but yet they cleaninng out apartmwnts as soon as a tenant leav and have an occupant within a week, I have mold in my batyhroom, & a replacement kiddie toilet. I pay too much rent for this lousy apartment to be ignored. Do not move here!!
The previous owners were great! Now these people are horrible is 20 degrees out side and I don’t have hot water or heat!! This is unacceptable, I’ve been in this neighborhood since 2014. No major problems till now. When the previous owner where here things got fixed fast! Even when my power went out over night they came out, and fixed it. Here I am now with no heat or hot water!
The management is terrible!!! My apartment has mold and I told them this multiple times and nothing has happened. They talk to you crazy and basically leave you to handle your own situation. Jessica was the best, she took care of stuff when needed.
Office staff, Amanda, Jasmine, and Krishun are always courteous, caring and professional. Krishun is a very good maintenance worker. Repairs are done timely. Also, this is a safe place to live. Rose Marie.
I wish I had a choice to give these apartments a 0 star due to safety and poor concern for tenants safety and terrible conditions of the apartments. Please DO NOT MOVE TO THESE APARTMENTS... unless you want your home broken into and your home vandalized. It was multiple break ins within weeks. The NEW management failed to let tenants know about the break ins, even after they knew about the break in that happened in my apartment too. I didn’t like the OLD management too much, but at least tenants knew what was going on in the apartments when things happen. It’s been about 6 break ins within 2 weeks. The safety of the tenants was not enough to let them know about the multiple break ins. It made me feel like they knew more than they were letting on. I guess they do no want to lose tenants. Well you lose tenants when you’re not honest and open with them about what is going on around them. The air conditioning does not work. Maintenance is NEVER able to fix it. The appliances are OLD and dirty and breaks down a lot. Make sure you are at home whenever you put in a maintenance request!!!!!!!! The apartments are a reasonable price..... but you also get what you pay for. If you do decide to move in these apartments, make sure you bring an alarm system and security doors with you along with a dog because someone is looking at your apartment and ready to kick your back door in!!!!!! The burglars love flat screens TVs and electronics. The property has cameras, but for some reason, break ins continue to happen especially through your back door. If you care about you and your child/children safety, then please DO NOT COME HERE!! I am speaking from experience. Thank you
Worst apartments ever!!!Dont waste your money!!! Bought out by a new company had a flood from the air conditioner unit water was ankle deep..No new carpet No calls from owner or management.. Now I’m stuck with a mold infested apartment!
This property is all of what you make it. I have lived here 2 years with minimum to no problems. If you are a person that enjoys peace and quiet, you'd love it here too. Every apartment will require maintenance, that's just life! The staff has always been friendly and they actually care about you as a person. I don't see myself going anywhere soon, and I can say I'm genuinely happy with where I live!
I love Mrs Jessica and Heather! If you make an effort to pay your rent on time they will work with you! I never had any problems with this apartment and when i did they came in a timely manner to fix things. I wouldnt mind renting from them again. The reason i am leaving is due to a better education offer in another city. Thanks for everything Brentwood Place!

Jessica is a liar I didn’t give a 30 day notice , but my lease was up so now she is saying I owe a thousand dollars. But at first she acted like everything was ok and a month later I received that letter. I am just waiting on a court date so I can show I left my apartment in good condition , and show how it was full of mold. also she is charging me because she claim I didn’t clean the inside of the stove. This apartment was full of mold and I should have called code enforcement. The mold could have got me and my daughters sick. I know someone else that stays over there and all they did was paint over the mold. I would not advise anyone to move over here.
Make sure you check your credit before renting here. My husband and I really liked this apartment because it seemed like it was located in a decent part of town. My credit fell a bit because I wasn't working for most of last year. My husband's credit is good, but still a no go because EVERY signee has to have a passing credit score. They wouldn't even allow him to be the only signee (and I am now working). We owe absolutely nothing to our previous landlords, owe no other utility company plus no criminal activity, but they gladly overlook that over a freaking number. Ledic Realty ought to be ashamed of themselves!

We would have loved for you guys to have been our neighbor. We do have very strict criteria for our residents and make sure to let all applicants know that criteria, prior to running any credit/background checks. I apologize we are not able to make any exceptions to our credit requirements of 525 for all lease holders. Our flyers and emails specify all of our requirements. Please feel free to contact us if you would like any further information about the requirements.
Don't be fooled by the FAKE reviews posted by the property owners and managers friends. Here's the REAL truth. If you have a maintenance issue, you come out better hiring someone to fix it for you and submitting the receipt along with your reduced rent payment. I am a current 6 year resident. I am moving out ASAP. My average wait time for repairs is a minimum of 3 weeks and a maximum of 6 months. That includes calling daily to ask when will they come to fix anything. When you report an repair issue, Heather or Jessica will happily tell you, "I'll put in a ticket". This really means you need to call back everyday, even if it's a dire issue like heat, air, flood, mold or a broken appliance. I've experienced all of these issues and it takes forever to get it repaired. When you call back a week later, they'll say, let me see where your ticket is, or they'll ask innocently, "They didn't come yet?", as if they don't already know the answer. You'll have to keep calling every day or week until they come. They like to squeeze you in at the end of the day around 4:30 when they are on their way home so that they can say they'll be back tomorrow, which they NEVER come back unless you keep calling. Code enforcement should really shut this place down. How do you know there's a flood in an apartment and NOT take precautions to keep mold from coming through the walls? They will take their time fixing things but DON'T BE LATE ON YOUR RENT. You could paper your table with the letters they will leave on your door. If you want to move somewhere in 2018, this is NOT the place! I am a future former resident. Don't waste your time! PS - The garden tub means nothing when you have mold growing in the cracks where the cheap caulk keeps separating or the wall behind the shower head is so water rotten that the paint is peeling and mold is forming there too. Good luck getting them to repair it. They will tell you to clean it with bleach.

Quite wooded setting. My FAVORITE THE OVERSIZED GARDEN TUB,WASHER AND DRYER FREE WATER AND COVERED PARKING. THIS COMMUNITY IS VERY SELECTIVE ON WHO THEY RENT APARTMENTS TO.(WHICH I LOVE) I JUST SIGNED ANOTHER LEASE. MICROWAVES ALSO INCLUDED!!!!!!!
