I have been a resident of Brent Village for two years and in general I'have been happy here. The only thing that presents a challenge is that the complex is challenging to find because the entrance off Galvin Road does NOT have a street sign saying it is Buck Drive and visitors think it is just a parking lot for State Farm

Brent Village is very community based and the leasing office sends out community emails to update tenants on new information.. I like this about the place, it has a very personal feel from management.

I have lived here several years now and like any apartment you live at, there are little issues/problems from time to time, but nothing major. I love the layout of my apartment and the view. There are tons of restaurants and stores nearby. It is mostly quiet; sometimes the neighbors and their kids get a little loud, but it has never been after hours or anything too bad. People are friendly and respectful of others. I have never had a problem with parking or with any tampering with my vehicle since I have lived here. For the rate I am currently paying, it has been a good place to live!

Brent Village is a fairly nice place to live with a great location. Management and Maintenance are very helpful and quick to respond. Overall, most residents are nice and friendly. The grounds are well-maintained. I love the layout of my apartment and there is a great view from the balcony.

I have lived here several years and overall, it has been a good place to live. The neighborhood is great. Residents are mostly considerate of others. Lately, the response to repair requests has been very quick and efficient. Staff is friendly and helpful.

1405 Buck Dr Apt 109. In general is a good place to live. Friendly and supportive. A timely service for work orders should be addressed and not have to wait more than 3 days after a non emergency work order is put in.

They opened their pool almost a month late and constantly close it down for “maintenance.” There is absolutely no enforcement regarding the parking lot. More often than not there is nowhere to park and there are always different/new vehicles taking up stalls that I’m sure are not owned by residents. The grout is all rotted and falling away in the entire bathroom including the sink and shower. The holes in the wall are sloppily covered over. There is paint splatter on everything in the bathroom showing an obvious carelessness. The toilet handle needs to be placed in a very specific way after flushing otherwise water will continue to flow. The lining at the bottom of the walls in the bathroom has completely come off on its own. There is absolutely no seal on the front door allowing all manner of insects in continuously. There is no secure entry. There is ZERO air or temperature management in the hallways or stairwells. One stair well in each complex is open to the outdoors, again with no seal allowing heat, cold, and insects in continuously. The batteries in the smoke detectors are constantly dead and it takes them weeks to replace them. There is a resident on my floor who lights his cigarettes in the hallways and walks through the enclosed staircase smoking his cigarettes. The apartments constantly smell of marijuana. There are trash and cigarette buds throughout the parking lots and grounds. The decks/balconies and the wooden walkways from the parking lot to the building are literally falling apart. It's almost dangerous how old, loose, and rotting they are.

This place has absolutely no concern for its residents. My move in date was moved back 2 weeks because they were unprepared even though they had a months’ notice prior to the move in date. When I arrived at my apartment, I found it in serious disarray. The board under the kitchen sink was warped beyond use, the sliding glass door was completely unattached to the sliding door. The microwave had literal rot on the inside of the roof. The shower door was completely unattached. The vents were completely covered with dust, almost to the point of no air coming in. The dishwasher didn’t work for TWO WEEKS before anyone came to fix it. This was all on the very first month of living here. They only have one maintenance person for the entire complex. I was told to “just live with it” in regard to the shower door not being attached. I’ve had them come over TWICE for the screen door and it’s still not attached properly. Instead of fixing the warped bottom underneath the kitchen sink, they through down a piece of wood over it and called it good. They REFUSED to change out the microwave. Both closet doors are incredibly difficult to open and close and constantly fall off their track to which I was also told to “just live with it.”

I love living here at Brent Village. I love the neighbors. I love the community. I love when residents give other residents the respect and boundaries they deserve and ask for. I think that since new management has stepped in, there has been many updates and they respect their residents. They are willing to work with their residents and find solutions to any problems that may come their way.

Nice apartments for the money. Close to many fast food restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores. Pets are allowed, which is great because I am a cat lover. Maintenance is usually right on top of things. The manager is efficient and caring. Responds promptly to emails and phone calls. Cares about the residents and the grounds. There is a pool and small workout room located near the office.
Layout of apartment is fantastic. But, 2 windows isn't enough natural light esp. if with no ceiling lights. Maintenance entered home while sleeping, then lied about us a few days later to MGMT. Windows leak, bottom of fridge broken. Has potential.
