Loved living here!! Management was nice and responsive. Friendly neighbors and clean nice facilities!!!
I regret living here. Every time I've had a maintenance request, the workers always leave a mess in my apartment - tracking dirt in, leaving water trails, and scuffing and chipping doors. The residents here have no regard for their community. There is constantly trash everywhere and many dog owners do not pick up after their dogs. The stairs and hallways leading up to the apartment are always dirty and the lights do not always work. This place is too outrageously priced for being a mediocre apartment complex.
Enjoyed my time in a Breckenridge Apartment, a Blue Ridge Company Apartment, until they got me with a deceptive moneygrab right when I was trying to leave. When you sign a lease from A date to B date you expect to be able to move out on B date right? Well thanks to 2 lines about a 60-day written notice in their who knows how many page lease agreement that’s not the case, you have to pay for the apartment until 60 days after you sign the notice. They’re nice enough to call and remind you about it… a couple weeks AFTER the start of the 60 days from when you originally planned to leave. But they send you a couple reminder emails the month before about it…. with the reminder of the 60-day notice hidden at the bottom of a “Lease Renewal” email advertising a new lease rate which you won’t read if you’re not planning on renewing. The best part is when everyone you contact about it in management says sorry we get this all the time, but no exceptions. You’d think if it happened all the time maybe they’d try to do something about it? Paying a few weeks rent for an apartment I’m not going to be using has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth after an otherwise enjoyable experience.
I have really enjoyed living here. We are on the 3rd floor, so we don't have an issue with noise, but I could see how the lower floors have issues with people above them. I feel like I have to tiptoe so it doesn't sound like Hulk lives upstairs. Any maintenance requests have been taken care of very quickly, usually by the next day. The rooms are large and the apartment was very clean when we moved in. I do feel like it is time to replace our carpet, so hopefully when we move out they will do that. The pool is very nice and the exercise room as all the equipment you need. I love using it. I have always felt safe here. My only complaint is parking. It is okay during the day, but if it is after about 8 pm you have to park really far away from your building. It would not be such a problem if guests were not parking in resident spots. I have loved living here, and if I weren't graduating then I would love to continue living here.
My family and I just recently moved here. But so far there is not one thing I don't like. Staff very friendly. It's quite. And they take care of any of your needs right away. My family and I are loving Breckenridge!
I love the quiet, location, the grounds and the amenities of Breckenridge Park. Likes and suggestions: I love the location, the quietness and the entire exterior scene of the apartments.
I will definitely consider living here again if I move back to Hattiesburg. Likes and suggestions: I love the environment. It feels like it's in the middle of the woods but the city is right down the road.

The ladies who run the office are just wonderful. Always pleasant. The maintenance guys are great and just as friendly. As a military family we've lived a lot of different places. This is 1 of the best Likes and suggestions: All of the neighbors are very friendly and it's very quiet
Very nice grounds, safe community, overall a great place to live. Likes and suggestions: It is very well maintained and the staff here is very helpful and courteous. The location is slightly out of the way from the rest of Hattiesburg, but that is only by about 10 minutes.
Thus far no problems. We have enjoyed our space. Haven't even heard our neighbors. Likes and suggestions: QUIET.
Overall we love the property and the amenities Brackenridge has tlo offer. I just wish those that don't live here would respect the property. Likes and suggestions: I personally don't like when visitors aren't respecting the property by leaving trash on the grounds and parking in tenants parking area. I also don't like when older kids misusing the play area designed for the much smaller toddlers. There are tenants that own dogs and not picking up the dogs feces and using the recepticle avaliable. The yard crew who cuts the property are cutting the grass too short, leaving groves in the grass. The grass is now yellowing from them cutting the yard too close. I've also noticed people fishing in the pond and keeping the fish and not throwing them back.
Very well maintained with a nice layout and decent amenities. Likes and suggestions: After moving in, I absolutely understand what others have complained about regarding noise (really wish they had a 3rd floor available for me). They do not use high quality floor padding under the carpets, which causes anything above a slow walk to be noisy. This is the only apartment I have ever lived in where this was an issue. Other than that, things seem nice so far.
This is a great community! It has great amenities and the residents really enjoy living here Likes and suggestions: I dislike that it doesn't have a gated entrance
I'd recommend it (and have) to anyone looking to move to Hattiesburg. Likes and suggestions: This place is wonderful. It's close but not too close to everything in the area. The staff members are very friendly, and the whole complex is very clean. Parking is super easy, pets are welcome (which is very hard to find here in Hattiesburg), and there is a diverse group of people living here. It's not loud, but you can enjoy having friends and family over without feeling like you're bothering other people. The money you spend to live here is definitely worth it (it's not cheap, but it's certainly not as expensive as some places that don't offer nearly as much).

The reason I came to these apartments in Hattiesburg over all of the others is because of the location being private, it's secluded but yet close to everything. The second reason was for the the view of the small lake in front, it cost a little more, but it's definitely worth it being on a balcony towards a small lake! - On a side note ~ Me and an old roommate of mine were going separate ways, and even though we were still under our 1 year lease, the people working there were more than helpful in offering ways that were reasonable and lenient. I've heard/known of most apartments being much more harsh or complicated when it comes to breaking a lease agreement. I appreciate the kind managers and staff working at Breckenridge in Hattiesburg. :)
Great place to live BUT the walls here are PAPER THIN and when somebody complains over walking steps or cause your washing, you better expect a notice on your door. Notices don't look to good on your renting history and when your really not doing anything that is ridiculous. People who stay in apartments and the office staff need to realize it is an APARTMENT if you don't want the noise or whatever don't stay in an apartment. I have heard of other residents complain about the office is quick to stick a notice on your door about noise violations and we are talking about normal noises that come with apartments not like throwing parties. Other than the paper thin walls its a good community.

Management is really on-top of everything. Maintenance is kept up extremely well, and maintenance calls are answered immediately.
I enjoy the pleasure of coming home to peaceful environment, nice scenery lake, landscape and pool.
I personally enjoyed it at the beginning of my lease, towards the end when Breckenridge knew we were ending the lease we were treated very POORLY!!
It is a very nice place to live. It would be nice to have a recycling center on the grounds.
It was very nice but the location was not ideal for anything in Hattiesburg except overpriced golf, gas stations and terrible Mexican food. The price range was too high for the "extras" included with rent

There is NO doubt that Breckenridge Park is the BEST apartment complex in Hattiesburg. The units and the amenties are exellent. The management staff on site at the complex goes overboard to make EVERYONE feel like this IS THEIR HOME

If the staff could be as awesome as the maintenance crew then this place would be the best in Hattiesburg.
Spend your money else where bc these apts are well over priced for the quality of product you receive. They advertise as being a "quiet" family community when in fact its quite the opposite. We've been here for a yr and haven't had much quiet time. The neighbors above, below, and onside of us are all extremely noisy. They claim to have strict rules regarding noise levels here and after several complaints without resolve, we've decided to move else where.
My wife and I are nearing retirement. A couple of years ago due to some health issues we made the decision to downsize and to sell our home and find an apartment complex that we would enjoy living at. We looked at nearly every complex in this area and Breckenridge Park was, hands down, our choice of where to live. The staff does an excellent job of maintaining a beautiful, efficient, friendly and safe living environment. They go the extra mile any time we need them. We chose an apartment on the 3rd floor for a little "forced" exercise every day climbing the stairs and we really enjoy sitting out on the balcony and seeing the view and "visiting" with other residents as they walk by. We also love the ability to walk out the back door and be able to fish after work and on weekends. We have never regretted our decision to move to Breckenridge Park and plan to stay here as long as they will have us. We recommend it to everyone we know that is looking for an apartment to move to.
I lived here for a year and it was wonderful. The staff was always very willing to help and the quality of the apartment was great! I moved out of the city of Hattiesburg but if I were still in the area I would choose to live on Breckenridge park.
I would move back in a heart beat! The prices are high but it is all well worth it by the time you get free tanning beds and workout gym and movie theatre and office to print for free. It saves a lot of money! I loved it!
The staff is competent and are courteous while attending to their respective responibilities. They go the extra mile to accomodate the resident's wishes. I may be returnibg to Hattiesburg, for a temporary work assignment, in the near future. Breckenridge Park Apartments will be my first choice.

I thought when I rented this place that it wouldn't be a college apartment but I was sadly mistaken. There was constant noise because the walls are paper thin, parking was atrocious, and I didn't particularly like the fact that you couldn't pay in advance even though their system clearly indicated that you could.
Overall, I love the Breckenridge community. The amenities are always clean and in perfect condition. The staff are always, friendly, courteous, professional and considerably knowledgeable about all aspects of the community. I consider it to be relatively safe. There have been speed bumps added that have curtailed the past problem with speeding. The grounds are very well manicured and at all times. I love the location because my commute to and from work is more convenient due to the location.
Completely satisfied with the living arrangements for our daughter while attending USM. Very safe, lots of amenities, and location was great for school, shopping and restaurants.
It's not worth the money they want to charge I would not recommend here for families with children.
I love all the amenities which definitely helps with the value of the apartment. I don't need a gym or tanning membership because they have it available. They have wifi as well as a computer room which is all secured.
Absolutely loved living here. I appreciated the fact they are doing improvements to the grounds and their maintenance is second to none. You don't even change a light bulb that belongs to the apartment. Call any time of day or night if there is a problem and they handle it immediately. And there is no service call fee, like if you own a home. It's really a wonderful location and clean and quiet.
