Bozeman, MT isn't the best kept secret when it comes to Montana towns anymore. With Montana State University, its prime location near Yellowstone National Park, and close to three ski areas, Bozeman was rated as Outside Magazine's best ski town in the West for 2010. Because of the university and ski areas, renting can be a bit difficult but not impossible. Look for a place sometime before graduation before the summer seasonal jobs come into full swing. If you live south of Main street, you'll have access to trails that go all the way into Yellowstone.

Bozeman, MT has plenty of museums and art museums including the Gallatin Pioneer Museum, American Computer Museum, the Children's Museum of Bozeman, the Emerson Center for Arts and Culture, and the Museum of the Rockies. Because of Bozeman's eclectic mix, which includes artists, you can find plenty of art galleries including the 2nd Look Gallery, the Artifacts Gallery, and Coffrin's Old West Gallery.
