A seaside city along the Pacific, Huntington Beach is known for its miles of white-sand beaches and fabulous California climate. Nicknamed “Surf City,” people from all over the world come to catch waves and hang ten on its pristine beach. The U.S. Open of Surfing competition is held in Huntington Beach during the summer.

I've been living at the Boardwalk by Windsor for approximately 9 months. I find that the customer service is excellent. Management and maintenance respond in a timely manner. The location is convenient - close to the freeway and BellaTerra but not overcome by BellaTerra traffic. I previously lived at the Residences (inside Bella Terra) but did not like how they treated me when I left or how they treated me when I re-applied a few years later. Boardwalk is much better.

It's not been good! While I've noticed a lot of changes for the good there is just too much that needs fixing. Also I've been dealing with so many issues with the apartment that is ongoing and wasting so much of my time. Community is so expensive and to deal with all these problems is just a huge headache. I haven't been able to sleep for almost a full month cause they havent fixed this HVAC system. Also I have a distrubtive neighbor below and they continue to be a huge disturbance. Management says they notified them to keep it down with slamming doors, hitting the ceiling, and dropping heavy stuff. But they continue to do it everyday.

We love the apartment, parking and amenities. We really enjoy being so close to Bella Terra shopping and dining. The maintenance response is slow and we have had to reach out multiple times to have multiple maintenance requests addressed. The community is quiet and we enjoy walking around it. There’s a strong smell of dog urine all around however. But management is responsive and supportive and we appreciate how involved and supportive the management is of its residents.

The leasing office is not very helpful, they don’t have solutions to problems and there are no 24hr assistance when someone is parked in your paid parking. It’s been two days and I haven’t heard from any employee, I had to call the leasing office myself. Management does not care about its tenants opinions nor do they provide solutions to any problems.
Boardwalk by Windsor is a lovely, affordable community with great amenities and a welcoming staff. The dog friendly environment is great and the people are kind. The neighborhood has great restaurants nearby and shops in the Old Village. I very much enjoy my living here.
Its definitely not whats advertised and it is just an average apartment community with lots of useless “amenities” and I can guarantee none of the maintenance or the office staff is qualified enough to do what they do at least not on paper
I am extremely happy with my decision to move here. Everything is close and convenient. I love my apartment. The staff is very professional, friendly and kind. Elizabeth has been incredibly helpful. She is very knowledgeable and has made the move an easy transition. Thank you!

Love living at Boardwalk by Windsor. The staff and maintenance team are incredibly patient with all my needs and questions. i love the community events they have weekly. the environment is always clean and safe. I really appreciate that you can get in touch with real and helpful people at the leasing office and not automated AI and the response is quite quick.
The large bathrooms and especially the giant bathtubs are beautiful.
The maintenance team is great. Kind and respectful and for the one or two times I've had a request were always professional.
Nice quiet unit, great amenities, stays average temperature (no need for heat or AC), pet friendly.
Other than usual apartments type noises, it is relatively quiet. The office staff always friendly and very helpful and understanding

I've really enjoyed living at Windsor. The maintenance is fast and very professional and kind as well as the front office staff. It's been really simple to live here which frees me up to focus on the rest of life and not managing where I live.
Very nice community. Unfortunately there are residents who are extremely inconsiderate and entitled. I feel management does a great job but can't police everything. Overall I feel it's one of the best communities HB has to offer.
I moved in at the end of January and I have had a great experience living here at the Boardwalk. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and they do a great job of keeping the community updated and clean. It’s a great place to live!

I have lived at the Boardwalk for 4 years and am planning on staying longer. My neighbors have been great. The management team in the leasing office are professional and helpful. The maintenance personnel are also courteous and have resolved every maintenance issue I have ever had quickly. The common areas--the gymn and the clubhouse-- are always clean and inviting. I like the Fast Service response from Maintenance Team whenever i had an apartment issue. If i had an Apt. Emergency the Maintenance Team fixed it within few hours / next day latest - Thank you.
I like everything, the location is excellent, close to shops and restaurants, an excellent gym and recreation area, a responsive competent management team.
The maintenance staff is excellent, the problem is that instead of fixing things that are broken or not functioning correctly they tell you to modify your behavior when using whatever is broken. I assume this comes from management since our apartment had so many small imperfections when we moved in. Example, the main living room lights are on a dimmer switch which caused those lights to flicker constantly. Instead of fixing the problem, I was told that it can’t be fixed and instead to move the dimmer switch slowly when adjusting. This didn’t fix the problem and the flickering lights were very bothersome. I ended up buying new dimming switches and light bulbs myself and switched them out, the problem is now fixed.

The office staff and maintenance personal at the Boardwalk are courteous and incredibly responsive to tenant needs. I feel like a respected member of a community, not simply a renter.
I am very happy with the inside of the apartment, it is so beautiful. The outside of the apartment on the other hand is not kept up properly. The hallways, elevator and trash areas are always dirty. I think for the amount of money that everyone spends on rent, these areas should be cleaned daily, if not weekly. It’s a little embarrassing :/
As a new tenant, the speed, thoroughness and kindness displayed by the maintenance staff is an important part of what makes this development home.

BOARDWALK by Windsor has the best maintenance crew in all of Orange County residential apartment complexes
Lately it has been very unpleasant with our hallways filled with trash; smelling even worse with this weather. The trash is from the same neighbors who place their trash out of their apartment. I’m really concerned about this; this is bad for our health,the environment, and status of the place we live.
