Property Ratings at Bloom Beverly Hills
Renting here was the worst decision of my life. Building was so broken-down that LA imposed a 50% rent reduction on the city from June to December.
I feel like this building is a bit of a pig with lipstick on. Looks pretty decent and they've recently made a number of cosmetic updates. However, it's just to get you to sign a lease. They don't really care about tenants once they've signed. Prime example. My heat went out at the beginning of December. It didn't get fixed until early January. For that whole month my apartment would not get above 61 degrees without the assistance of a space heater. This is well below the habitable standards the state of California holds. When I asked about a potential rent reduction for the major inconvenience I was told it would have to be approved by "upper management." I wasn't provided with any reasoning, but was told that the reduction wasn't approved. I find it hard to believe they think it's acceptable to have a tenant living in substandard conditions while paying the full rent amount. I'll most assuredly be moving out upon the end of my lease.
Classic, LA apt built in the 80's. Nice location...good management.
