Set in the Puget Sound, this island city is bathed in beauty from its cool downtown district to its artisanal wineries, museums, and green spaces. The locals adore the island life, its natural landscapes, and top-notch amenities. To travel to Seattle, the ferry is what you’ll take. It makes multiple trips a day from Winslow, and is about a 35-minute ride into Colman Dock.
There’s quite a bit of shopping, dining, and opportunities to get active for residents on the island. The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art houses collections created by local artists, and it’s in walking distance of gourmet waterfront eateries as well as Eleven Winery’s tasting room in Winslow. Property Ratings at Blis
I lived in a studio in the Blis apartments for one year while getting settled on the Island. Not only are the apartments and amenities gorgeous, but the staff members are all extremely caring, friendly and professional. The grounds and buildings are very well maintained and you can't beat the location; a 5 minute walk to the Seattle ferry terminal and downtown Bainbridge. I highly recommend Blis!
I love the location of BLIS apartments. It's near everything I need on the island. When I called to get information the lady was very helpful. I was shocked they are still touring during Covid-19. Everything was clean. It was pleasant knowing this place is doing what they can to eliminate the spread. Which I especially appreciate since i'm in the medical field. One thing I observed while there was another tenant, yelling at the gal helping me over an amenity that was closed down during covid. I wanted to cry for her, it's not in her control but she handled it so professionally, and stayed poised the whole time. I was impressed! I can't wait to move into this building. It's everything I was looking for and more. If you need a friendly landlord that treats you right. This is the perfect place. Thank you BLIS for all you do. Your building is beautiful and well maintained!
While the BLIS complex is new and clean and the units are nicely finished, the building amenities listed here are misleading. The following amenities simply don't exist and should be removed from this listing immediately: Spa, Pool, Basketball Court, Racquetball Court, Tennis Court, Volleyball Court, and Doorman. Moreover, Property Management routinely suspends access to the following amenities for no logical reason: "The Nest - Skylounge," Secure Package Receiving, and Rooftop Grilling Station. Property Management has refused to recognize that they need to deliver on what was promised to their residents, specifically with regards to package receiving and access to rooftop grills. Because of Property Management's disregard for customer service, I am giving this property a 1 star rating. If you are looking for a high-end and convenience-oriented home on Bainbridge Island, this is not it.

Due to the impact and restrictions surrounding COVID-19, a number of our amenity spaces are currently closed. As the rooftop lounge and grilling area is currently closed, the property is working toward installation of an additional main-courtyard grill installation.
