Located about eight miles northeast of downtown Colorado Springs, Vista Grande provides a peaceful atmosphere and amazing views of the city. Sunset Mesa Open Space sits on the northern edge of the neighborhood, giving you a great place to stretch your legs and experience the beautiful Colorado wildlife. With the University of Colorado Springs only a couple of miles away, an apartment in Vista Grande gives students an easy commute and everyone else the opportunity to go support the Mountain Lions.
The area around the Austin Bluffs Parkway and Barnes Road intersection serves as this neighborhood's dining hot spot. Pho Lu'u stands out for those amazing grilled shrimp egg rolls, which are as yummy as they sound. For something meatier, give the steak or brisket a try.
Have some after-hours fun at Joe's Bar, where you can show off your singing chops at karaoke or play some shuffle board. If you're the gambling type, stop by on a Friday evening for Joe's poker night.

Property Ratings at Beverly Place
These apartments are the worst I've ever lived in and don't take care of problems within the "community." Management is very two sided and needs replaced completely. Save your money and go else where. You pay for parking and the day someone parks in your parking spot, you find out the management has them wait 4 hours before they move the car. You will not get any repairs done. The apartments suck! You can hear through the walls all too well, there is dog crap everywhere, trash is all over the ground and the parking lot is full of pot holes.
We did not even get into this place. Initially was told our move in date was 07-07-17, then after application fee, background and deposit the move in date was changed to Aug 4th because they had got the dates mixed up (totaled four days of them with the wrong date). This really messed things up since I had told my previous landlord I was out July 8th and he already filled the room. It was a waste of a lot time and money. If you decide to move here only talk with Bernadette and do not even waste your time with Esther in the office because apparently checking a computer to see when people are supposed to move in is too tough to do. Will file small claim court case for my application fee back if they do not sharpen up and give it back.
Just recently moved out. Go elsewhere! The outside appearance is all a facade!! Best advice turn around and look elsewhere! Just read all the reviews, so true. This is not just one disgruntled tenant speaking.
NIce place to live, great location. Management is resonable.
The staff in the office (Bernadette and Ester) are very kind and friendly. The apartment itself is nice. There are a few things that need repaired. I had some water come in during one of our bad storms in the bedroom and my walk-in closet. The maintenance looked at it, said there was no mold, and said he'd look into where it came in from as the closet isn't against an outside wall. I never heard back from them regarding this. Over-all I like it, I like the location, just needs a some care.
I have just moved here after my old apartment complex was going to raise my rent $70 without fixing any of the problems several residents had. In the two months I've been here at Beverly Place, everything has met my expectations and more. From the price of rent given everything my apartment comes with, from my own water heater, full-size stove, dishwasher, and my personal favorite, a wood burning fireplace. for an extra $40 dollars rent i got my own washer/dryer unit in my apartment even though they have a laundry room in the complex. i haven't used them yet, but there is a decent workout room, tennis court, and pool. just this week i had a problem with a leak, but the maintenance staff got it fixed the same day i called in. I'm Bipolar and have a dog for therapy reason, but with a note from my psychiatrist explaining that, the office waived any and all pet fees/deposit/rent for my dog. And speaking of my dog. They have several dog walking areas on the complex. the location is also great. I don't always have a car, since i borrow from my dad, but there are two grocery stores, Walmart and King Soopers, close enough i can carry my personal cart to them and wheel my groceries back.there are also a few good places to eat within walking distance and without having to cross a main street to get to some of them. which since i hate crossing big streets that is an important one to me. There are also two main City bus routes that are a short walk from the complex. one i can use to get to west part of town, and the other is in the middle of a route that i can take north or south to many of my favorite places. Several other things such as my haircut place (next to the Walmart) and my dentist (about a 30 minute walk going north) are close by. I'm on disability pay and needed a cosigner for my application to be accepted here, but it's well worth it.
