Property Ratings at Berkeley House | Student Housing
I am sincerely disappointed in this complex and its management. This is my third year here and it seems like it is just one problem after the next. The property manager has been extremely dismissive to me over the years when I have expressed concerns and down right rude at times. It has been made clear that my safety and the safety of Berkeley House residents is NOT a priority for management on numerous occasions. I have a serious cat allergy that management has been aware of since day one, yet they allowed my roommate to bring a cat into my apartment. This has caused extreme issues for me and I do not feel safe in my own home anymore. After having expressed this to management, I was dismissed and told that I had to prove I’m allergic with a doctors note. This is an absolute slap in the face to someone who has been loyal to this complex for years. Needless to say, I will not be coming back and I plan to tell everyone I know NOT to live at the Berkeley House.

Sydney, thank you for your review. Your roommate turned in the appropriate paperwork to register an ESA animal, which we legally cannot deny. We apologize if your roommate did not inform you of this prior to obtaining it, but there's very little we can do once the appropriate paperwork has been tuned in. We are aware on your application you noted "pet allergy" with no specifics and we are aware there are dogs in your unit currently. We apologize for this inconvenience and understand your frustration with us not being allowed to deny this animal. Should you have any further concerns, please feel free to contact the office.
I’d rather live on campus than live at Berkeley House again. Their management is terrible. They send you random charges and no one in the office can tell you what they are for. I get calls saying I haven’t paid my rent when I have. My packages have been given to other people. There’s dog poop everywhere and dogs running around not on leashes. Terrible place to live. Can’t wait to move out.
